Look at Airbnb. For $30.00 a night you can get a nice one bedroom. I stopped staying in hotels in Bangkok about 5 years ago. For trips of over a week, condos are a great bargain.

I have several friends that frequent Banana Massage and enjoy it. I haven’t been. I’m a bit on the lazy side and happy to stick to the Silom/Surawong massage shops.

Z909 if you’ll just read back thru this thread you’ll see several of us don’t have the same problems several of you guys have. Maybe some of you have bad negotiation skills. But if I ran into as many lies and scams as Boy69 does, I’d stop coming to Bangkok. I’m going to continue to have fun and not worry about stuff that I don’t see happening. It’s not a perfect world, but I don’t see it as an organized attempt to scam everyone that posts here.

This is incredibly sad news. We became good friends while working on this, his first trip to Bangkok. His excitement was over the top. Today was his birthday. RIP my friend. You will be missed.

This is terrible news for me. As I live in Bangkok for about 6 months a year, I was able to become good online friends with Lurkerspeaks .We talked frequently as I helped him plan trip. He was very excited for this trip, his first to Thailand. He wasn’t in the best of health. Had some issues on the flight over. Went to hospital in Bangkok and seemed to be doing ok. Was able to get out and about for a couple days of fun. Now this news. RIP

We hear on this site that many posters don’t like the Vietnamese, but we are not the only customers. They do have a good rate of being offed. I’ve been dealing with the Vietnamese pretty much exclusively for 6 or 7 years. I don’t have the issues that most complain about. But I will admit they are more work than other boys. I am a little surprised by the stories of Screwboys. The Vietnamese there are usually easier to deal with and more open .

I go to Maxis almost every night when in Bangkok. Great observation point. Say hi to waiter named Pao. We have become good friends. I’ll be back in 2 weeks, so keep a seat warm for me. Glad your feeling better . Hopefully you can make up for some lost time.

Glad your feeling a bit better and can get out. Sitting at Hot Male and watching the boys go to work is fun. If you stay up late enough you can sit there again at 1am as they leave work. Many times you can now pick up a boy and not pay the off fee as they head home and look for last minute client.

I fly out of Miami. To Brazil it’s about 8 hour flight and costs run between $1500 - $2000. Bangkok is almost 24-30 hours, door to door. Costs run between $800 - $1200. Last flight I got for $725. There have been some great fare sales to SE Asia this year.

Meeting up with forum members is lots of fun, but leave yourself more time for meeting up with the boys.

It is true many of the Vietnamese boys are waiters. But not necessarily there to lure people in. They are all as offable as any boy on stage. The knock has been that most are tops only. Screwboys and X-Size have a couple more versatile boys. Tops only is somewhat true for those of you there short time. If you are here longer time and get to know them, you will have better luck.

Most of the Vietnamese boys come from small villages in the central part of the country. English wasn’t on the horizon till they arrived in Bangkok. Very few boys from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, but they do speak better English, I have a few friends that have lived in Bangkok for several years and are quite fluent in English. WeChat is a good app to use because it translates texts.

Many of the boys when being offed at Jupiter will put a tip into the box on the way out. The money is divided between the door staff and waiters on the floor.

You would probably be shocked how many of us have never been to Babylon.

I think we have to keep in mind that it’s still low season. Also I know of some people that would be there now but are waiting till next month because of the funeral next week. Let’s wait till the middle of November and see if things pick up.
