Mamma Mia 2 Here we go again
paulsf replied to TotallyOz's topic in Theater, Movies, Art and Literature
If you wait till September I’ll go with you to see it. I was going today but it was close to being sold out. I’ll wait till mid week when it quiets down a bit. If the critics don’t like it, I’ll love it. They never like anything that is fun. -
I’m mixed on this. I have no problems with Bangkok. I love it and have lots of fun. You mention reading all the negativity. That’s the people posting. Many of forum members I know from here and Gaythailand have stopped posting because as soon as we say how much fun we are having, posters come on and post all their negatives. . I always ask these people if everything is that bad why do you keep going. For me it’s still a big bargain. Every night is different. Right now is the middle of the low season. It’s not going to be wall to wall boys or customers. I was talking to a friend tonight that stopped by Screwboys. Said it was full so he left and stopped in at Maxis. 3/4 full. So I’ll only speak for myself. I see very little wrong and will continue to spend my 6 months a year there having a great time.

The Brazil Trips are in. BoyToy.com. In the Latin forum. -
And you don’t think that the gay boys aren’t having sex with you strictly for the money? If straight boys don’t work for you, that’s fine. But there are lots of us that go with straight boys and have a great time.

Yes, Qatar has airspace issues. Delays were an issue when it all went down. It’s not an issue now. Schedules have all been worked out to deal with it.

All my experience is with Hanoi. If your looking for a gay scene, not much. One bar, few massage places. The apps are alive though. If you want company you will find it. Lots of traffic. To much ? That’s for you to decide. I’m a city person so that stuff doesn’t bother me. Uber and grab taxi work well. Taxis are cheap. Pretty much everything in Vietnam is cheap. Crossing the street is harder than getting around. HCMC is developing a gay scene. A few bars and massage places, but you have to find them. The apps are very busy. You can always find someone to show you around. More expensive than Hanoi, but Vietnam is still a bargain.
-
The situation in Vietnam has vastly changed. With the apps. Bangkok’s Vietnamese are straight boys. The Apps have allowed the gay boys in Vietnam a place to surface. I don’t use the apps, other than to just see what’s going on. Vietnam is the only place that I have received messages from boys . Because I don’t hire off apps, I have very little in my profile, I was surprised to be contacted. If you go to Vietnam and use the apps, you will have a good time. Paid or free.

Who determines what’s outrageously expensive?

Bangkok Trip Report 2018: I Get Really Greedy Edition

Screwboys is one of the hot spots right now. -
It’s a headline from today’s Bangkok Post.
-
It’s reported that one of the four rescued was the coach. They said he was very weak because he gave most of his food to the boys.
-
According to the Bangkok Post, 3 boys and the coach are the ones out so far. It’s reported the coach was very weak because he gave most of his food to the boys.

The engagement will probably be longer than the marriage, so be patient.

I don’t necessarily agree. Just because someone goes somewhere and has very positive or negative review of a place doesn’t mean you will have the same experience. We spent all this time, money and travel getting there, check it out for yourself. You don’t need to stay, and most places are in the same neighborhoods. Easy to go place to place. We all have different ideas of fun. Check it out. -
NBC is saying 2 boys are out and in ambulances on the way to the hospital.

There is signage at the opening of the cave that says basicly, Danger in caves from water from July-September. It was June when they entered. I don’t know if anybody knows the why’s of this happening, but let’s get them safely home then figure it out. Im not in Bangkok right now, but have been talking to friends everyday. The country is gripped by the story. Chang Rai is over 400 miles from Bangkok.

Using Grab Taxi is a great option for hard to find places. You can enter the address into their app. This will show up on the drivers map on his phone, and no conversation is needed. I use Grab 2-3 times a day and rarely have an issue finding anything.

You can give all the constructive criticism you want hoping he won’t bore you, But he is in no way going to change his style of writing. He has written several stories of trips to SE Asia for another Site. He has this past year started traveling to Central and South America and was asked if he would do some write ups of his experiences here. This is his style and it’s not going to change.

They quite often do Live Facebook of show around 11pm.

Sounds like fun to me....

I like and use Qatar myself. Just right now they are going through lots of changes these last few weeks. Read flyertalk. Lots of people that swear by them are steering clear for now.

Quite a few good fares out there to Bkk starting in September. But Qatar is one where you will have hard time finding low fares. They are going through some internal money issues and changing up lots of services. Their fare are going up. But they did just have a great fare sale out of Miami for September and October. Over now, but you do have to check fares constantly if your looking for really cheap fares.
