  1. I'm glad they finally got out of their clothes. Looking forward to it. I noticed that there are several people posting episodes of this show on that site.
  2. I think the vast majority of people don't think about you at all. That is to say if you're out with some cute Thai boy most of the people you encounter won't care because they have their own lives to worry about. Maybe some will give you the side eye, but you'll never see them again so who cares what they think? I don't say it to criticize but you might want to consider therapy to help you get over all of these internalized issues. It couldn't hurt and quite likely would help you a great deal. You may also have undiagnosed depression or other mental health issues that can be treated either with medication or other therapy.
  3. if I knew exactly when I was going to die that would be a lot easier to do. I will have plenty to spend. Ultimately there will be some left to be given away and I don't have a problem with that
  4. You would have to know the exact time of your death to do a countdown. I am not quite "senior" yet. My dad died at 81. My mom is still kicking at 83. Neither of them in great shape in their latter years though. So I expect that as long as I don't get hit by a bus I should make it well into my 80s or 90s. My current plan is to retire at 60. According to my financial planner's calculations my money should well outlast me. So that's all good news. My current plan is to devote myself to getting into as good of a physical condition as I can in retirement when I will have plenty of free time. I am glad that I've been traveling quite a lot over the past 30 years. Doing it while I was young enough to really enjoy it was a good thing. But it's a big world out there so I expect to keep traveling as long as it's possible. Of course who knows what the state of the world is going to be over the next 40 years. So I guess enjoying things while you still can is wise. There's a YouTube channel I watch from time to time called notime2bsad. The creator is an American guy who documents his daily life with his Thai wife, family and friends. It's a nice slice of life and it's always enjoyable to see Thailand. They live in Isaan but travel around a lot. He retired relatively young. As a military veteran I presume he gets a pretty good pension which I am sure helps. His whole ethos is to not worry about the things you can't control and enjoy your life. I don't agree with him on some things (I believe he's fairly conservative) but his overall philosophy is a good one. Personally I find it impossible to ignore all of the things happening in the world and feel like burying your head in the sand might be good for you on a personal level, but it's not great for the world at large. But I agree that a positive attitude is essential. Nobody wants to be a nasty old curmudgeon.
  5. probably an attempt to keep them from working in Thailand
  6. is the SRT a "gay" business?
  7. If my room had all of those issues I would have been at reception asking for a move to a better one. Surely the hotel wasn't full.
  8. I want to trademark it.
  9. Yes, the backroom at Remington's was fantastic. Sadly the bar closed down several years ago. The real estate was too valuable so yet another luxury apartment tower was to replace it.
  10. Haven't the shows been in place for a long time though - since before there were so many Asian women (especially) and men going to the bars? I agree that the boytisserie is enough show for me. Or if they would be real stripper bars like what the Canadian places used to be - I haven't been up there in a while so I'm not sure what the current shows there are like. But I suspect the Montreal clubs are about the same as they used to be. I used to love Remington's in Toronto. So many fun times there.
  11. They need to do a better job with the continuity of Rain's hair color. I'm not sure anyone could really be as dumb as his character. But it's still fun to watch because they're so pretty
  12. I've always read that you should decline the dynamic currency conversion at any point of sale or ATM. The blue MRT goes quite near the Grand Palace area now as well
  13. Good report. Those antler tattoos seem to be very popular in Asia these days for some reason. I see lots of them in the twitter porn I peruse. Lots of Burmese and Chinese guys have them. Unless I just see pictures of the same guys over and over.
  14. I think QR is using the old config 777 on the DOH-BKK flight now as regularly scheduled.
  15. I've never understood how they make any money
  16. You should probably have a talk with your physician. They can do baseline testing. https://www.alz.org/alzheimers-dementia/10_signs
  17. I am still into younger guys. But I will say that one of the top massage experiences I ever had was at the old Fan Club in Bangkok with a guy who was probably mid- to late- 30s. Compact, well-toned body, a little bit muscular. Quite relaxed and friendly attitude. Spoke a good amount of English. Fantastic erotic massage technique. Certainly having some experience is quite useful. It was unfortunate that it was my last afternoon in town that trip because I would have happily seen him again.
  18. YouTube is full of videos about this. They've been sounding this warning for a long time. Certainly there are lots of problems all coming to a head at the same time.
  19. aren't those wispy little mustaches back in fashion again?
  20. I just finished the second episode. In addition to being pretty they've got good chemistry and they're pretty good actors. The reaction on MyDramaList is very interesting. Lots of people complaining about their relationship and saying it's abusive. But I don't think that's quite right. Rain is just afraid to admit what he wants. I like the sexual tension
  21. exactly. The current young generation has really been fucked up by smart phones. And the older generations have too I suppose. Everyone's attention spans have been
  22. Thanks for sharing this. I had never heard of this site. Those two boys sure are pretty.
  23. looks like a big budget production
  24. YT suggested this to me last night. I think I may need to find out if there are subtitles
  25. The court has teeth. They essentially killed off Future Forward. It's just a matter of which powerful institution the court serves.
