This Scotty Guy really seems to know what's up on this bitch board that he's always going on about. Is he their PR guy?
-
Devin, you misunderstand me. I am not doubting that these events will take place. I am just pleased to see that such a full programme has been arranged, which means that all are collaborating.
-
Devin, thanks for this information. It sounds like quite an occasion, and I think that it can be read into the programme that all the clubs are collaborating again. There was a period when dominant Gay Paradise personalities were at such loggerheads that the event barely took place at all!
-
Thanks Firecat for your reports, and a really good and varied selection of Thai Guy photos. Great faces.

I don't really understand why you guys keep visiting this other site to come back here and complain about it!! All you're doing is publicising it, and if it as sick as you say, who wants to do that.
-
Ditch the paranoia, the fear that you might be taken for a ride, the dread of being sucked into a whirlpool of future commitments. You had fun with someone who, by the very nature of living in Thailand, has a much lower earning threshold, who, never having asked for anything since you have known him, asks for a little help............ Help him NOW! And don't labour the "it's only once" bit either! Just make light of it. "I've never paid anyone's rent before, but making an exception this time....." and do it NOW, what's to think about?!

Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort: A Review from May 2012
khaolakguy replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
The old Railway Hotel was indeed used as a location for The Killing Fields. In fact the production built the swimming pool there, so that it matched the Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh, given the film was set in Cambodia. -
Good information from Aussie and James! Is the beach and the sea there still good quality? It was about ten years ago, that I went there, and it was beautiful then.

I thought that the Deluxe Suite was excellent value. An enormous bed, and a separate sitting room for 3,000 + per night was good value, and good room service if you bring guys back at night to make a party.

Thai murder suspect 'preyed' on gay tourists
khaolakguy replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I think that the Syrian's religion had about as much influence on this sad murder as the religion of the victim. Nor do I blame Buddhism when Thais commit murder! Despite never having visited "that part of the world" you have had to "physically eject two of them from my room". Where are you finding these people that you have had to eject from your room, presumably having chosen to invite them there in the first place? I would look to another common factor rather than religion as being the cause of your bad experiences. -
Thai murder suspect 'preyed' on gay tourists
khaolakguy replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
The hypothetical claim is your own assertion that his Syrian background may have made him homophobic and a murderer! Something that is not supported by any report of the murder, but perhaps therefore reflects your own prejudices. You separately assert that: However as you earlier wrote that: you're hardly in a position to make this comparison! -

If the Syrian is not acting in a homopbobic way, and allowing guys to suck his cock, even for money, doesn't sound homophobic, then whether his religion is homophobic or not is irrelevant, so why bring it up? -
Hey Gay Thailand, want to know what Gay Rio is like?
khaolakguy replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Hi Heygay, when were you last in Rio? I heard it was like that ten or more years ago, but the recent reports were much better. Still, it sounds like you are talking from personal experience, which I wish you had. Where did you stay? -
How dare they disrupt a traditional thai cultural activity like go go boys wiggling their arses for aged punters. And worst of all they were drunk and didn't tip. No Christian would behave like that!
-
I would like to see more personal trip reports, like Beachlovers experiences in Cambodia. It led others to bring in their own experiences, unfortunately some old farts with agendas decided to piss on the parade in a way that discourages people posting their experiences.

The military junta in Burma is almost as well known for promoting gay events as Khor Tose is well known for appreciating travel reports!
-
But can you be sure that this is actually him posting, as I can remember reading that his posting personality and his real personality can be quite different. I guess that you are thinking that this LMTU is now posting as Haygay.

Jason was correcting your reference to "The Best Hotel", by pointing out that it was actually called "The Best House", and also pointing out that where you referred to it being in North Pattaya it was actually in South Pattaya. With "inconsistencies" like that some posters here would say that your whole personality is an invention, and that you have never been to Pattaya, North or South!!

Payments in Phuket to commercial guys are similar to Bangkok. I would think that Pattaya is a little cheaper.

im⋅po⋅tent 1. not potent; lacking power or ability. 2. utterly unable (to do something). 3. without force or effectiveness. 4. lacking bodily strength or physically helpless. 5. (of a male) unable to attain or sustain a penile erection. 6. (esp. of a male) sterile. 7. Obsolete. without restraint. www.dictionary.com
-
They are actually different, as although Impotence can refer to Erectile Dysfunction, it can also refer to sterility in a person with functioning erections!
-
I don't think that you coined the expression "flying farang" and it was hardly an original one, but first came into use to describe the circumstances in which police reports noted that farangs had killed themselves by jumping, in circumstances that suggested that they might have been helped over the railings! It since became a light hearted reference on the frequency of this method of suicide in Pattaya. I think that you drew flack for your insensitivity in this case, because this was a case particularly worthy of some compassion, not just a failed love affair or running out of money.
-
Let me guess, you chose Pattaya to retire in because of the numbers of unspoilt beaches, or because of the number of cheap rentboys?

Bumrungrad Hospital: Most Expensive and Worst Hospital in Thailand
khaolakguy replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Comparing Bumrungrad with a hospital at Dachau is silly and offensive. I have always been happy with treatment at BNH, although as others have written, their prices have increased recently and while they were once a non profit making organisation, I believe that this has changed in the last few years. -
Firstly, as Mark acknowledged, in the original case he had employees who were found to be on drugs, and he could not demonstrate any process of checking/discouraging drug use among his staff, and was therefore in breach of his responsibilities as owner. In the two years since he has implemented a policy of monitoring staff, and has therefore been complying with the law and has not had a problem. Secondly, as Mark was entitled to, he had his case tried in Court, which found him guilty, and decided on the punishment, not "the whim of the police".
