Thanks, glad they have got some Thai beans in there too. I had some excellent Thai beans in a cafe in Chiang Mai a few years ago.

Where did the beans come from? Were they locally grown?
  3. Thank heavens some members have found a new hobby, photographing closed bars and complaining about the way the thai system operates!
  4. I thought everyone came inside Nature Boys
  5. Kudos for sales technique and ingenuity, but counting the turds float past wouldn't stimulate my appetite!
  6. Here's the way to find out. Do let us know. 32 Nevern Place, Earls Court London, United Kingdom SW5 9PP +44 20 7244 9901
  7. Agreeing with z909, there is a huge difference between start of manufacturing and start of delivery, and it's dishonest to claim otherwise. In the case of this very successful vaccine the process of manufacturing is complicated. https://www.astrazeneca.com/what-science-can-do/topics/technologies/innovating-production-and-manufacture-to-meet-the-challenge-of-covid-19.html
  8. It must have been the weight of the iPad that he was apparently holding when he fell overboard!
  9. In my early teens I was addicted to Henty. I was thrilled by his historical adventure stories like: Out on the Pampas: The Young Settlers Winning His Spurs: A Tale of the Crusades (aka Boy Knight) Under Drake's Flag: A Tale of the Spanish Main The Young Colonists: A Tale of the Zulu and Boer Wars The Young Colonists: A Tale of the Zulu and Boer Wars Given he was prolific and wrote more than 50 novels no one had to wonder what to give me as a present! I also read most if not all the Bulldog Drummond books(around 20). Bulldog Drummond was a brave and intrepid adventurer, like most of the heroes in Henty. My taste in reading began to turn with Le Grand Meaulnes. The story of a teenager in love(with a girl). I started to see that novels could be more than just exciting adventures but could also hold a mirror to my own emotions, and also put into words my own burgeoning feelings.
  10. I would be all for enforced premarital sex!
  11. Given you always get fucked by the masseurs, I don't think that you can now play innocent, "I didn't ask for it" and claim you therefore don't need to pay the tip for full sex.
  12. There is nothing like leading from the front on this!
  13. Apologies but not sure which is the right forum for this. A "new" member with this name has sent me, and I'm sure others, a private message with a request to contact him, via email provided(he has disabled his messages), to discuss a business proposition. As he joined only 7 hours ago, and posted 6 hours ago, I would say that the probability that it's dodgy is high and posters should be cautious in responding, if at all.
  14. Dominic stated in his Rose Garden that his telephonic records demonstrated that the second accusation was untrue. However he has asked many times to share those records, so that he could demonstrate that the accusation was untrue. Unfortunately he has not been willing to do that! Funny that, you claim that you have evidence, and everyone is just supposed to believe your statement without actually supplying it.
  15. Thanks for that suggestion. It was an interesting article. For anyone wanting to read it you don't need to be a subscriber to access occasional articles in The Economist, you just need to register.
  16. There may have been "clarifications" or "interventions" but for those with less knowledge of the thai language all the comments and variations in interpretation and usage are interesting to us. So please continue to post and discuss! For me I shall continue to enjoy the fact that I can say to a thai guy "Phom Lhap Daay", I can receive you, which sounds so mush more gracious than "I want you to fuck me"! Sure that someone will correct my phonetics, or my spelling of same, but the guys get the message, and that's surely the most important thing!
  17. Very different experience from that of GWMinus. Wonder what the cause of the difference might be. Did your guy pay for the ticket directly himself? Either with his own funds or funds previously provided to him?
  18. This is so not my experience. I know at least twenty UK/Thai gay couples whose relationships are enduring and happy. I don't know one "bad experience with goldigger", but undoubtedly it happens, and perhaps it is more prevalent among those whose relationships never moved outside the Thai borders. That is, where genuine commitments were not made, and where there was a desperation and/or naivety on the part of the farang, who thought that they could buy a husband. I say forget the pre-nups. Don't you love him so much that you would share your wealth with him anyway?
  19. Hi Schuft, Congratulations and good luck. If you didn't try to achieve this you would always wonder. I went into a similar situation after a long distance relationship. Like you I was aware that he might not adapt to local conditions(which in my case were unfortunately without any thai infrastructure), I was at work every day for long hours etc. But it was fine and we are still together twenty years later, and the large age gap remains a large age gap! So happy I took that risk, and what a fight we had for the early visas. All worth it a hundredfold.
  20. I love guys who are glued to their foreskins.
  21. Great report, very useful, thanks
  22. Apologies for the post above! I seemed to have temporarily lost my ability to quote and comment in the same post, mea culpa! Feel free to delete. I think that sums it all up very well. It is sometimes surprising how efficiently a less accomplished linguist can use language. Anyway I loved it as a summary!
  23. Most enjoyable reports. I was happy not to know about where you/we actually were, as it allowed all the focus to be on the relationship, on which you write entertainingly, and leaves the posts not cluttered up with the travel details. Perhaps a little travel detail summary only at the end of the journey, which i am looking forward to continue.
  24. And purely for the purpose of advising others of the veracity or otherwise.
