  1. GayThailand wrote, "That is why I am off to Brazil for a few months to be able to find things that are larger and more comfortable." I have a better idea then Brazil. A young man 15 and his father biked across Australia last year to raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. They biked 4500 km in 30 days and raised over 19 thousand for their charity. Are you game? Just think of the publicity for the msg board, and think about all the weight you can lose. What do you think? Can I sign you up? http://www.perthtoparadise.com.au/
  2. Since we are talking restaurants, where can I find a really good Japanese restaurant in Pattaya? I have found a very good one in Chiang Mai, and in Bangkok, but did not find one in Pattaya that was any good.
  3. I could not agree more. All of this talk of entrapment and fanatical police forces looking to hang gay men for sex with minors is bullshit put out by the people who like little children 13-. Believe what you see and read in the news, and not what many on some message boards would have you believe. The movement to protect kids is not a straight plot to convict gay men, it is not composed of homophobes or religious do-gooders (for the most part). It is not the bible or some religious edict that motivates the people who hate pedos, but the reality that sex between adults and children, harms the child, in some cases, makes it impossible for that child to ever function as an adult. What is even worse is that many of these abused children will themselves go on to become adults who abuse children, giving authorities even more reason to stop this destructive cycle. This is our best scientific evidence that says this---not some bible. I am sure that many of us, for very good reasons, do not trust the authorities. Many of us have had bad experiences with society over being homosexual. Nevertheless, when we allow these Pedos to hide in our community, we are owning their actions and giving ourselves a bad name for doing so. So next time you see a pedo picking up a little boy, or find someone advocating for them, speak up and do all of us a favor.
  4. Monkeysee is correct. Nitrates are not only nitroglycerin, which is prescribed to heart patients, but all of its cousins like Amyl Nitrate, Butyl Nitrate, etc., often called poppers. There have been several death and suspected deaths by combining Viagra with a nitrate. Do not do it!!
  5. I have a better idea. Recognize the Cuban government and end the stupid trade and travel embargo. Then Sam could have tons more of hot men in Cuba, and we may just learn how to run an universal health care system.
  6. Come on he is Russian. He has a lot of experience with a country spitting into many parts.
  7. Thanks Pingakicker for the information. This is one of the best reports I've seen on Bali. The trouble with many third world gay venues in that they change so fast, that what was here this year is gone the next, but for a while this is a pretty good report. How about hotels that are gay friendly or won't mind joiners. Have any tips?
  8. I cast a vote for this board with every post. If I thought the board, or the moderator was unfair I would not post here. In my opinion this is the most intelligent of all the boards, but that does not mean the other boards do not have something to offer in their own way.
  9. Nor to me. I've always been told HIV cannot live more then seconds outside the body. To me, the mouth is outside, and full of a mild acid. I can't believe it would hurt to brush afterwards.
  10. I could not agree more. What is sad is this law is suppose to protect the "weaker members of society", but reading between the lines I come to an opposite conclusion. What has happened is that Europe and Scandanavia is/was being overran by prostitutes from africa and other third world countries. Sweden and Finland passed a similar law (without the foreign restrictions) and most of the prostitutes moved to Norway. This is more of a "not in my backyard law". The native Norweigen prostitutes are supposed to be offered drug counciling and job training, but what will happen is that the trade will go underground, pimps will move in, and in the long run all of the prostitutes will be far worse off under this law then they were before. The deputy minister of Justice is quoted as saying that she does not intend to enforce the overseas part of this law unless it involves children, but it is a law, and it is on the books. So next time we make fun of some of the stupid Thai laws, remember any country can have a spat of idiots in power. http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2BNew...ory_320411.html
  11. Turn back the clock and have a body like I did at 26, win a gold medal in gymnastics in Vancouver, and climb Mt. Everest. I figure, why not, I have just as much chance of keeping these resolutions as I have had keeping all the rest of the resolutions I've made
  12. I would really like to read this book. When it comes out would someone please publish the ISBN of this book?
  13. Most of them are sick in a way. The vast majority of child abuser were abused children themselves. There are more detailed descriptions of child molesters out there, but I recommend this one published by the US Department of Justice. While long, it is easy to read. http://www.missingkids.com/en_US/publications/NC70.pdf
  14. While I think many things were important in the 20th century, the one I would pick would be the creation of the internet. This single invention has opened the whole world to everyone who can use a computer. This is the nerve network of mankind itself, and I believe it will create more changes in the human condition then any other single invention.
  15. I went to the URL for that resort and it does look nice. It is a little pricey, but it looks like a great place to get away from everything. I have to ask, are they gay friendly? They seem to cater more to the family scene.
  16. I have an old boyfriend that I often give money too and help out. He too has this hold on me that I can't quite shake. I do not think I have ever heard the words angry and butterflies used together before, that is quite a concept. Do you ever wonder if you may be harming that old boy friend by baling him out all the time. What if he never learns to take care of himself?
  17. Is it considered "Lese Majesty" in the UK to want to sleep with both William and Henry at the same time?
  18. I have flown quite a lot on Air Asia and I hate all of their rules and exceptions. However, they go everywhere, they are mostly on time, and they are cheap. What more can you ask
  19. I may be an eternal optimist, but it could be that Obama is working on a compromise with the religious right to grant Gays full rights of partnership without it being called marriage. I am willing to give this appointment the benefit of a doubt until we see our new Pres. in action. One of the first things he could do is reverse the "don't ask, don't tell" policy of the military. I would really hate to be sold out again by a president that caters to the gay community, but actually does nothing to help us. I am really hoping that Obama is different and, for now, he has my full support.
  20. It is a shame that we can't ask Bush Jr. a lot of questions, not just this one. Where is our judicial system when we need it? This man has consistently lied to the American people and brought down the US economically and in the eyes of the world. He has also sanctioned torture, denied Americans their civil rights, started an unjust war, and detained people without a trail or due process. There is no crime he can be charged with?????
  21. I hope you are correct. That would be a good move and probably signal the end to "don't ask don't tell." Now that would be a nice bone for the gay community. Let us see if he has the guts to do that, or my vote has been wasted.
  22. Do they have overnight shipping on orders to go? Just kidding, sounds like a real bargain. Wish I was there instead of buried under feet of snow.
  23. I always stick to Melville when it comes to looking at the past. The Past is the textbook of tyrants; the Future the Bible of the Free. Those who are solely governed by the Past stand like Lot's wife, crystallized in the act of looking backward, and forever incapable of looking before. ~Herman Melville, White Jacket Have we changed the subject, oh well at least it the thread did not turn into a bitch fight like another board I know.
  24. Way to go George. I am not the least bit surprised that you take time away from your friends to help out some poor kid. However, I have to ask if you are not afraid that the truth will come out and people will start to realize that you are really a nice guy. What is that going to do for you iconoclastic image? If I was in Pattaya at the moment I would gladly buy you a drink for a job well done. Let me owe you one.
