  1. I think Hedda has hit the proverbial nail on the head. Not only that, but this public posting tells me that you already know the answer to your dilemma at some level. I am not sure you really want advice here, or confirmation of what you may already suspect.
  2. http://www.airgorilla.com/ This is a real airlines, not a piggy back ride on GayButton.
  3. That is just like throttling your wife's lover instead of your wife. No, I would throttle my son--not the dealer. One of the main things wrong I see in America is this tendency not to take responsibility for our own lives. Blame it on the dealer, my parents, the genetic make-up that makes me drink or do drugs, etc. I found my son doing drugs, I'd kill the little bastard, because that would not be the way I raised him. By the way, drug addiction is a symptom of another problem. Only one commonly used illegal drug by itself leads to addiction. Don't believe me? Please read this definitive study by Dr Robins of Washington University that showed that while over 43% of the Vietnam Veterans who served in Vietnam used Heroin and Opium in Vietnam 88% of them quit cold turkey upon return to the USA and the 12% who did not quit used drugs prior to Vietnam and had personality defects prior to Vietnam. I am sorry but I do not buy any of your arguments, and I am not deluding myself. Are you sure you are not deluding yourself? http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1G2-3403100470.html
  4. I have not been able to access Baht stop for the last 12 hours. I actually had to access "The Nation" myself to read the news. Anyone know what is up with the site?
  5. Lester1, you've addressed your last message to Z909. Therefore, because I have to go to work now and because I am not the addressee, I will pass on giving you an answer--at this time. I am just going to say your logic has some very serious flaws in it.
  6. These are the best tailors in bangkok. I have two suits by them. http://www.dress-for-success.com/
  7. Bob, even google won't translate your Thai, but I may be better off not knowing. Lester1 and Lvdkeyes, I am completely with Bob and Z909 on this. Wrestern concepts that say sex is bad and should only be practiced under certain conditions or it is immoral are, not only foreign to the Asian way of thinking, but hold absolutely no water based on modern pychological thinking. Strongly suggest you read the latest edition of Human Sexuality by Master, Johnson and Kolodny. Exchanging money for sex goes all the way back to recorded history, and it only becomes a problem with the people who know "what is right for all of us" get into the act. To me Age of Consent means you are capable of making your own decisions in life, and many of these boys are far from stupid, naive or forced by circumstances into this trade in this country. However, if you go back to the subject of minors, I am with you 100%.
  8. Damn it Bob, you have your facts wrong. I do not work for a bar owner and that dog came on to me first. Innocent until proven guilty is the cornerstone of English law that is sadly, not universal in the world. I have a book by Leonard Levy, "Origins of the fifth amendment"---that I still have not fully read---that lays out how important this concept has been to English and American law.
  9. Iraq with all of it religious and ethnic diversity was held together under Saddam as a secular nation. He may have been a bad ruler with world wide ambitions, but he did not actively hunt homosexuals, persecute Christians, or make women second class citizens. I hate what is happening in Iraq to gay men, but whose fault is it that the religious elements are now in control? For this we have spent over 1 trillion dollars---shame on us.
  10. They have landed on the moon?????? Darn, I miss all of the good stuff.
  11. I have it too. Besides pain killers (naproxen sodium), two things help a lot. Heel lifts, and---nothing personal--losing weight. Yeah, I know I fight that battle every day,and just staying even is some kind of victory.
  12. Could not agree more and laughed my head off at your ending sentence.
  13. I loved it the first time I read it, but I have read it several times elsewhere. Who did you hear it from?
  14. Yes, somewhere close to ting&tong party on the 12th. Why? So people from the North and Bangkok do not have have to make a special trip to go to the Party. I would be glad to come early or stay late and make both parties. Better yet, have you considered combining the parties?
  15. Gb, I see the lock but it lets me post. Definitely some kind of glitch.

Yes. there have been several new additions since I was there. I stayed at ei8ht rooms and found it a bargain, but here is a web site---make your own choices. http://www.utopia-asia.com/camsiem.htm with a great interactive map http://www.utopia-as...om/map/siem.htm
  17. I am so glad to hear all of you come to the same conclusions that I did. I was afraid it was just me. The show is good, but it is overhyped and the mamasans are the worst I have ever encountered.
  18. Hay Ray why didn't you tell us it was the "Free Guy" bar or give us this ad in Thaivisa: http://classifieds.t...sale-19191.html I will be completely honest with you. I have only been in your bar once to see the show and I do not remember it looking as nice as the pictures show it to be. I also think you are asking way to much money, both for the bar and the rent. I wish you the best of luck anyway.
  19. Great site Geezer, thanks for the info. On another note I have seen police departments cleaned up by doing what Z909 suggests--without the executions. http://www.historyli...fm&file_id=3292 Can it be down to a whole country, or city states? Heck yaa if it starts at the top. All that is necessary is that those in power have the will and ability to do what is necessary. The problem is that most people will go along with what is, rather then fight to get changes. I am especially surprised at the comment about the PI. Corruption under Marcos got so bad that the whole nation rose up and tossed him out. Unfortunitely Corizon Aquino had the will, but lacked the ability to reform the system (may she rest in peace). Get someone who has both qualities, and corruption can be turned back. By ability I mean the ability to find and choose the right people for the job of cleaning up the system.
  20. My guess it is the old Doi Boy bar for sale.
  21. Ambien or Xanax--I would not recommend these for constant use, just to get you system regulated after a long trip or when you find yourself sleepy in the day and awake at night. Xanax is not usually prescribed for sleep, but it does work fine as anxiety and depression can also be an underlying cause of sleeplessness. Hope this helps. Yes, by all means stay away from Profofal, Dipravan and Dr. Murray, and minors around 12 years old .
  22. You might try this---now fairly accurate with out all the moralization that used to be added. http://www.usdoj.gov/dea/concern/concern.htm When you are done you might consider why European prisons are not filled with drug offenders and Europe does not have 1/2 the problems we do in the USA. Any questions please ask me, and I will reply as soon as I get finished toking.
  23. As hard up for customers as some of the bars are now I am sure you could work out some arrangement. I'm thinking of paying the bar owner a fixed sum to lock you up in the bar for two weeks with all the boys and just feed you enough to get by. The combination and diet and exercise should work.
  24. Nor can I understand why they do not help more. I will tell you how naive I am, I sort of thought that was their job to protect their citizens in a foreign country.
  25. I agree, especially about the melting of the ice caps. I am reminded of a 7th grade science experiement where ice was put in a beaker of water and the beaker was set over a hot burner. As long as the water was stirred and the ice had not melted the temperature of the water only varied by one degree. When the ice did melt the water temperature shot striaght to 212 degrees in no time at all. I do not mean that our oceans are going to boil, but when the ice is gone, I know there will be a increase in the world's temperature similar to the science experiment. Still, Seattle without rain is sort of like Hersey, PA without chocolate, or China without people.
