  1. I have no idea of what really caused the man to have a heart attack, but if someone could send me the name of that movie I would appreciate it..
  2. No we would not, as LMTU is infamous from Pattaya to Chiang Mai and known by sight to many of us, and I might add a really nice guy.
  3. Not from me. After I get to know you, maybe. This is a great area and I really would not want a lot just in town gays there;.
  4. Some of you big city Bangkok folds make fun of Chiang Mai, but we still get very little of that type of farang, at least in the gay community. What we do get is a lot of laid back backpackers who love Thailand and are friendly to everyone. One place gays can go for a good time that is not on any gay web site, is full of backbackers and it is not uncommon for them to join me, my BF and his very gay friends at our table just to hang out and talk. The other night a guy and his wife started talking to us and some good music came on. He asked his wife to dance and when she wouldn't he grabbed one of my BF's very fem friends and danced with him. Neither he nor the crowd cared and things like that often happen there.
  5. Only that there is one place that is gay friendly to stay at. Brand new with gay owners, but I do not remember the details and I can not do a google search at the moment. Nor can I remember who told me about it. If you do go I would like a detailed report if you have time. Oh he said easy to meet gay Cambodians there. Just read LMTU's message and he found it. That is the place.
  6. Okay, now I get it and agree. I did not try to pick up anyone as I was with someone. Free or not free, there were some real beauties
  7. My first thought is that it he is lucky he failed to see the tatoo on your homo erectus. If painted toenails caused that kind of reaction, I am sure you would have been arrested for causing the man to die of a stroke. On a different note, I think it is quite common to take your shoes off. Some airlines encourage shoe removal by giving you slippers. I do not think I would be comfortable with someone taking their socks off and I wonder why they would do that. I quess you should be thankful he did not have some kind of smelly foot fungus which can stink even with socks on. As to the ethics, if he takes his socks off you have every right in my book to do the same.
  8. Yes, I commented on this trip and completely agree. However, there use to be a Russian High speed boat in PP that went to SR and back. I thought this would be a great trip, but was warned off. Do you know if it is still running and have you heard anything about how good or bad it is? Great pictures, thanks.
  9. Simple rule. Whenever you see the bike and the driver as two blurry images, time to walk of take a cab.
  10. I am not sure what you mean in the last sentence. I went with a BF to the bar. I saw several boys go home with Farangs and some of the boys tried to catch my eye BF or not. To me it looked like a great place to pick up cute boys. Outstanding suggestion, and this trip easily compares in beauty to the temples themselves. A real Conrad "Heart of Darkness" feel to the whole experience. I wanted to be close to town and stayed at the very gay friendly ei8htrooms. No pool, but very nice rooms, very reasonable as to price, and a very short walk to town.
  11. I agree. In Chiang Mai my friends all date through Gay Romeo and very seldom find they are dating money boys. However, they have told me the age the boys list is not the only age they will date. In almost all cases they will date interesting older men. Also, a great "lets just chat" can lead to something more intimate.
  12. For an extra 1000 Batt you can also get the tall fem guy. Go for it and make is two hours and forty minutes. Really, I guess my German heritage gets in my way. I have never been one to pamper myself. I usually save my pampering for my BF. Cut my hair and let me out of here, I enjoy meeting the world as I am.
  13. Allow me to speak for Fountainhall here and for myself by announcing to one and all that "We told you so." All charges have been dropped against Russian conductor/Musician Pletnev http://www.guardian....igation-dropped
  14. Yes, I have lent money to bar boys with the full expectation that I will not be repaid. However, I only will do this one time with each boy unless I am paid back. I guess it is the same with friends. I will lend a friend money with the same expectation that I will not be paid back. The bar boys and any friends who do not pay me back can expect to remain on good terms with me, unless they ask for more money. If I am not paid back once I do draw the line on a second time.
  15. Great, and I have faith that the Thais will complete this project on time, in the same efficient manner they completed the airport link. So what year are we looking at 2030 or 2040.
  16. That is because Josan is hired by the present government of Burma to get tourist to come to Burma, I would take all and everything he says with a big grain of salt.
  17. This whole article sounds more like a business dispute then reality. I know one of the CM people the BIB is suppose to be looking for and he has been working for spice for a long time. Something is not right or not being reported correctly. I will be very surprised if the follow-up story (assuming there will be one) is anything close to this.
  18. As usual I find myself in agreement with my favorite Chinese Grandfather. I am afraid that I contribute to threads already going, rather then start many of my own. So far there has been little reason to add a comment to anything and---to be perfectly frank---I miss fountainhall. Don't get me wrong there are many fine posters here like z909 and gaysacgay to name a few, but sadly the board is not quite the same without our royalist spokesman.
  19. I like it. I favor the in your face approach, and this is in your face. We are not ever going to change the vote of people who hate us, and I think that most people--including those on the fence--are not offended by this message but will understand that we will not accept 2nd class citizenship. That is what in your face does, it tells people that we mean it and they can get ........., but we will not accept being treated as less then human. Shows a certain kind of guts and courage and people respect that. I only wish our ball less president understood this.

    thai food

Excuse my Chiang Mai ignorance, but you have a high priced Thai restaurant called "Cabbage and Condoms"? My first reaction was you have got to be kidding. Talk about a strange name. What is next for Pattaya? A restaurant called sausage and penises.
  21. Great article and definitely points to the coming Future. Sorry expats, you may all have to start looking at returning home as Asia will not be that cheap anymore.
  22. I ran into the owner of B-Beez---one of Chiang Mai's best massage parlors, if not the best----and he informed me that he is opening today with some returning staff and some new boys. They have not had time to update their site yet, but it is in the works. The owner was trained at Wat Po and he trains all of his boys to give a real first class massage. Most of them already know how to give the happy ending. So if you are in Chiang Mai, and need that rub, here is the place I would suggest.
  23. I agree, and voldemar, I have read the thread and the citations you mention and I find myself agreeing that Bob is on the right track with his message. I feel I am listening to Fox news. If you like that kind of economics that Bush so touted then vote republican, but there is no excuse to imply someone who disagrees with you is talking jibberish. The right choice for me is the Democratic ticket. Now are you going to suggest I am an idiot?
