  1. I saw it, as it was aired several times. I have not checked out the Utube comments, but I thought it was real intellectual treat. I have a funny feeling that most of the negative comments came from the USA. Unfortunately, my country is still deeply mired in its religious zeal.
  2. Sounds like the man is very bitter. I wonder how many tricks he felt the moneyboys played on him before he got this way. Somehow I think his feeling were hurt by the reality that they really did not love him, and more then likely did not like him. Sometimes it is easier to blame others for failures to connect then ourselves. Without ever meeting the man I think I would regard him from this profile as a classic a..h... .
  3. Okay folks, it is that time of year. Time to make that all important New Years resolution. Now that you have made them it is time to tell your friends and fellow posters what they are. That way we can hold you to them and raze you when you fail to live up to them. Me: 1. rejoin gym and go 4x a week 2. Lose 10 k 3. Get knees fixed and start walking everywhere again
  4. This is great news. So I hope you two are as "free as a bumblebee" to "get on the carousel". I am sure you both will be "givin a little bit more" "under the sun". I just hope your motto will be "I let the music speak" because after all it is a "crazy world." But keep in mind you must not be "burning my bridges" or we will be "crying over you".
  5. Seattle, where Greenpeace got its start, has full mandatory recycling. However, too many people--including me--agree with z909 assessment of the pain in the butt that law would be. Not only did they try to ban plastic bags, but containers for meat, etc. It was passed by the city council. Thena petition was drawn up to revoke the law. It received all of the necessary signatures almost immediately and the appeal was a landslide win at election time. In this day of SUV and gas burning cars, this is a burden on the average person that does little in comparison. Ban the cars, make a heck of a lot more sense and platic bags can be put into normal recycle. By the way meat in a paper tray has a much shorter shelf life and I do not wish to shop daily.
  6. There is actually a big difference. When it comes to murder, and some other crime "Intent" is a big factor. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/6232 I have a feeling that a good prosecutor would ask for 2nd degree Murder , but would be very lucky to get manslaughter and more then likely the jury would go for involuntary manslaughter because of her age.
  7. No, but Bob is slim and he does smile a lot.
  8. I know what you mean. I have a friend who is a Scottish guy that pisses on everything and everyone. He is bad all the time, but when he drinks at night (every night) he becomes a total ass. I do not know whether to dislike him or feel sorry for him. He is such a miserable man. I too like first hand travel report, and look forward to hearing from people who have traveled to different and distant places. Pictures are always appreciated.
  9. I quite agree, but please do remember most board members do not live here and many who post on these boards come here for a short time and for the boys. I am sure some would be willing to talk on a higher level, but do we stop helping the newbie and those with questions about who, what, where to go, or why things are "different" in Thailand. I see no reason why we cannot have a mix of both. By the way, welcome to the board.
  10. You should give it a try, and what the heck, you may be surprised. Straight people are almost as much fun to be with as a room full of queens without their knives.
  11. I am sure the police have a hard and fast rule as to when to caution a business owner. I believe the rule is based on a fixed ratio of how loud the noise is to how high the bribe money is being paid by the business owner.
  12. Two thoughts: 1. Why did it take so long for Thaivisa to report this when it was in the guardian almost a month ago. 2, The Thai authorities apologize, you've got to be kidding. They are still madder then hell they did not get any bail (bribe) money out of this.
  13. Agree the night market is not a social area, but there are bars away from that area that are great social areas. Also, the gay community and the straight community mix very well in CM. There are two or three events a night from concerts, to plays, to social gatherings, to dining out groups, to movie groups--both gay and straight. I can think of very few events or places in town where you do not find both gay and straight farangs mixing and having a good time together. I guess it is what floats your boat, but I can guarantee you that there are many good looking butch men available here, compared to Pattaya. I like fem men, but I do not live in pattaya because of the amount of tourist, the nut cases (yes we have ours but not as many), and the lack of a community of gays and straights mixing together. By the way we do have several gays who live here having fled Pattaya.
  14. I like the picture in number 4, but the frame in number 2 that says my name is elf. Hmmmm, I think what you need to do is to let elf pick his own card out. He is the one who will have to live with it. You ask 5 farangs and you get 5 answers. Ask Elf which one he likes best and let us know his answer.
  15. I could not agree more. You've hit the nail on the head.
  16. Where did they show this commercial. I love it, but definitely to graphic for America.
  17. I do not understand you guys. If you like butch men why aren't you in Chiang mai. Hell, it is a struggle here to find someone here who is fem as this town is full of butch guys.
  18. I am afraid I have been to much of a Buffet person lately.
  19. I have no idea why not making a post without criticism would make your day, but merry xmas to all is always a good thing to say.
  20. Why thank you
  21. Don't keep us in suspense. Is the boy still a virgin?
  22. You have my vote, but in the US it would be very difficult under our present laws. I truly believe in the rule of law, but if one of those stockholders who were wiped out were to shoot his banker, I would be hard pressed not to find some degree of justification in what he did. Involuntary Manslaughter due to tremendous stress would be my verdict.
  23. I would have asked if that meant they were breaking in a virgin.
  24. I hate to be a dirty old man, but at their age he could have been reaching for the lube when he grabbed that bottle of nail glue. I know if I wouldn't want to see the pictures.
