    Firefox 5

What is really strange is while I was reading your message, Firefox informed me of the new update. I suspect "4" had a weakness that allowed it to be hacked. I can think of no other reason why it changed so fast.
  2. No, I do not want you to leave the board. If I wanted you to do anything it would be to act more adult. You really should come back in two days and re-read your message. I can't believe you behave this way all of the time, and I hope you get over whatever is driving you at the moment.
  3. Nor do I see any personal attack. Bob is attacking the message and not the poster. When you posted that ridiculous article on Nucs in Venezuela, I put that story down, but not you. Bob is just doing the same thing. However, you are in a tizzy and threatening to leave the board. Sorry but if it comes to you or Bob---especially on this issue---all I can say is Good-bye.
  4. I do not read it as an attack on the person, but an attack on the message which is fair game as far as I am concerned. I criticized that ridiculous article of yours about nucs in Venezuela, but said nothing about you directly. Bob is attacking the gossip that Hey Guy posted--same same. If you wish to leave nobody will stop you, and if it is you or Bob who has to go------BYE.
  5. I am involved with a Thai boy and I love him. However, if he got into drugs or gambling I know I would not tolerate it for one minute. Somehow I think your warnings are best left to people who do not have the common sense or self respect to know what behavior should never be tolerated. What I am trying to say is that you should have talked to Mike about his BF's behavior before the crash. As for the rest of us, I do not think we need to be warned or to hear the sordid details. At our age, most of us have been there or done that and know better. Besides if you are correct, Mike has made a stupid mistake. I hope he learns from it, but the last thing he needs right now is to have his nose rubbed in that mistake. I think compassion for Mike should take precedence over any warning to others.
  6. The peppers used are different and have entirely different flavor and heat.
  7. I have often experienced this event. However, my BF and I call it a hummer not a hum. Yes, it does keep me very awake.
  8. Yes, in Chiang Mai and this year it is being hosted by a professional organization. Last year the the VFW hosted this event, and it was a disaster. In spite of advance ticket sales, there was poor food service and hardly anyone got fed. http://www.4julychiangmai.ckachiangmai.com/
  9. Listen there is nothing I would like more then to see more American Actors do Shakespeare. I love his plays and take pride on knowing most of them. Maybe I am cynical, but I have seen so many terrible performances by Americans that I remain a skeptic until someone proves me wrong, and then I am happy to be proved wrong. The fact that Spacey played Richard II is not a great recommendation. Richard II is not one of his Shakespeare's best plays as it contains almost no prose. Some scholars actually do not think Shakespeare wrote this play. Unlike the sequels (HIV1&2 & HV) RII lacks much of the power Shakespeare usually displays, nor is it that historically accurate. However, I am forever hopeful and would welcome you posting a review when one comes out.
  10. I would gladly go to Singapore to see Ian McKellan any day of the week. However, Kevin Spacey doing Shakesphere. All i can say is ouch. I reminded of Robert Downey's and Tres handley's performance in Ian's "Richard III", of Denzel Washington's and Keanu Reeves' performance in "Much Ado about Nothing", of Jack Lemon's, performance in Hamlet, Al Pachino in "The Merchant of Venice", etc. I have seen two Americans play well by using their own accents: Billy Crystal in "Hamlet" and Michael Keaton in "Much Ado about Nothing". However, I can count on one hand the really very good Shakesphere performances by Americans. Orson Wells in several roles, Charlton Heston in "Hamlet", and Kevin Kline in a "Midsummers Night Dream" While I have liked Kevin Spacey is some roles, he is no Shakespearean actor and no way in the same class of the three Americans i have seen do Shakespeare well. If I was there I might go, but no way would I make a special trip.
  11. This is an eat you heart out post. Washington State is the 6th largest blueberry producer in the world. We have over 3000 acres all in blueberrys and more production added yearly. There are many places inside and outside of Seattle where you can pick all the blueberries you want for .75 cents. I really miss them too, but I do buy the all to expensive frozen ones at tops and Fountainhall's prices are correct.. By the way, I have eaten frozen blueberries and fresh blueberries for years and there is no difference in taste. This is one of the only fruits that suffers no ill effects or loss of flavor from freezing.
  12. I agree totally with your review. Yes, with some decent food this would be a great place to eat and watch the crowd go into GOD.
  13. Sound advice. I have not found Air Asia that much cheaper when you add up all the additional charges. I really try not to fly them. I get far better prices and service on Nok Air and do not find the trip into Bangkok any more expensive then Suvanabumi. The only place where they really seem to shine is Malaysia and Indonesia.

    Black Boxes

If this is the final report or the final report says what this pilot said, then Airbus is in a a slue of lawsuits.
  15. You can't operate a washer!!!! Sorry, but this sounds like a lawyer joke. Q: How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb? A: Fifty four. Eight to argue, one to get a continuance, one to object, one to demur, two to research precedents, one to dictate a letter, one to stipulate, five to turn in their time cards, one to depose, one to write interrogatories, two to settle, one to order a secretary to change the bulb, and twenty-eight to bill for professional services.
  16. According to the Bangkok Post today he did far more then post a link to a banned book. He is living in Thailand and actively running a anti-government red shirt site. The story has changed and now I am more then willing to say that he asked to be arrested. However, all the yelling and screaming was not in vain as the Thai government did finally give the world an explanation. Something they have failed to do with many other lese majeste cases.
  17. Yes the more I read about this arrest, the more I disagree with you. I do understand what you are saying but I wonder if you have thought this out. First off, we do not have all the facts. Did he post this link to this banned book while in Thailand or when he was living in the US. Imagine that he posted this link while in the US to a legal US Book published by Yale University which I definitely called a reputable publisher. Now he is being arrested here for what is legal in the US. Guest or not that is outrages, and violates known International law. Secondly, think of the utter stupidity of this move. Here you have a book filled with too well documented truths that this government does not want anyone to read. So what do they do? They arrest an American citizen and now it is front page news all over the world (Just like the recent arrest of the Australian author on similar charges.) Now, I just googled "American arrested for lese majeste and got 139,000 hits. Third and finally, even if he posted that link while in Thailand should that really be a crime that we---as Westerners--sit still for? He is not quoting from the book, he is only mentioning it and telling people where to find it. Should that really be a crime by any standards, especially when nearly everyone in Thailand has heard of this book. As above the stupidity of that actions boggles my mind. Yes, we are guest but does that mean I cannot mail the ambassador, my Congressman, My Senator and the President and raise my voice to the incarceration of a fellow American without bail for a crime that is not a crime. I do not know about you but guest or not, I have done some of the above and wish other ex-pats would have the guts to do the same for me if I was ever wrongly jailed in a foreign land.

    Blue Lime NOT

Absolutely great advice for any gay travel site. While Utopia often does have listing that Dragoncastle, neds, stickyrice, etc. do not have, I have found some listings are definitely poor choices or misleading.
  19. Errrrrr, I know you mean a joke, but Mormons are big on Dancing, especially square dancing. Mormons often sponsor dancing events for their kids However, this does bring up a point why Milt will not do well. The non-dancing Baptist who make up most of the moral majority reject Mormon teaching as blasphemy, and will never vote for a Mormon. Beside that Sarah is getting ready to run from a new base in Arizona. http://www.nytimes.c...ampaign.html?bl Now I know what the politically aware felt like in Germany in 1936. "HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?"
  20. The newspapers will pick it up, especially if he is denied bail, and Hadley will sell another thousand books both in Thailand and abroad. Stupid policy, by stupid politicos, in a country ran by corrupt self-interested oligarchs.
  21. Silly question dear, The gayest place? My bedroom, of course. Why is self-evident.
  22. Another way, rather then prohibition to deal with behavior that can be considered harmful, education. No need to exaggerate the dangers, just point the real dangers out and it will cause many people to change their behavior. Cigarette usage may not be curbed in Pattaya, but in the Western world the message is there and it is loud and clear and it definitely has worked.
  23. We closed 153 bank last year in the US, and 43 this year. Total US bank Information closure information since 2007 can be found here. http://www.calculatorplus.com/savings/advice_failed_banks.html The good news is only small banks seem to be falling out.
  24. Loved the first one, the second was okay. This version, other then the appearance of Keith Richards (who easily looks like he has spent his whole life with the sea and sun in his face) hit the boring scale. My BF was unimpressed, but it may be okay if this is the only one anyone saw of the series.
  25. I found Jon Steward's take on two of his defenders very funny. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-may-19-2011/la-cage-aux-fools
