All I ever wanted to do was welcome all of you and just clear the air. i think both things have been accomplish and I am truly happy to see all of you on this board and look forward to your posts. I do have one more thing to add and that is a welcome to newalan No. 2, ooops, I just checked and he it is not no. 2 but newalan2. I just got confused. He is here under another name and I will let him identify himself in time. Scottish guy the member I was referring to was timmberty who has not posted in some time, but is still a member of this board.

Okay, much better but I really need to try it on a long message where I only want parts of it to quote. Thanks Michael

Isn't that two Popes too many?
-
The darn quote feature does not work the way it should. Why are you playing with semantics. Saying I will work with them means I will take them like they present themselves and either get along or not. How is that different then what you are saying. Gee I can do this too. You say a degree of caution is necessary, but seem to avoid stating what that means. Should we put one of them on moderated status, is that what you are stating, or is it just the simple you are willing to work with him. I am taking it for granted that English is your first language and wonder why you are reading so many ominous things into my trying to be out front before a problem occurs. These are members who have all left another board and the reason one of them gave points to trouble in the future as one of these people they left to avoid is registered here and has more post then you do. The capitals in my topic heading have nothing to do with anything, other then I did not notice that my cap lock was on. Would it have been less alarming if I had not done that by accident. If nothing else shouldn't these poster be aware that one member they do not like did and can post here, or do you think it is better that they just get surprised.
-
I am not sure I understand everything you are saying here, but I go out of the way to make all new posters welcome and I wrote this just because of some of that baggage that you mentioned that may be coming over with them from SGT. However, I am going out of my way, to say in far fewer words then you use, that I am more then willing to work with them and hope their experience here is a plus for both them and us. Now what is hard to understand about that. All I am doing is really talking about the elephant in the room before it becomes an issue as at least one of the people that A447a is talking about is a registered member here and will post if he so chooses. You are aware of that I hope, or would you rather wait until it happens and we have a blow up. Don't know about you but I believe problems are often best solved with rational discussion when emotions are not running high. I call it being adult and hardly over the top.

Well actually he/she is a great dane and I haven't dared to check out his/her sex.

I see that we now have three new members who have announced on SGT that they are quitting that board. I see they have decided to start posting on this board. First off I want you all to know that you are welcome by me. I did not then, or do not now agree with your decision to leave SGT over what I think is a very reasonable and forward thinking decision by the board owner of SGT. You all know I feel this way. I do hope you like this board, and cannot speak for anyone else except myself, but you will find that while we can and do debate decision by this board owner, it is her board and she runs it the way she wants. I for one cannot imagine leaving this board because i disagreed with a decision she made. That said, this board is different. While I can promise you I will do my best to make each and everyone of you feel welcome, I do hope that you will all do your best to keep this a friendly and at times thought provoking board that it has become under her ownership. Don't get me wrong, we argue with each other often and don't always see eye to eye, but we do our very best to keep it civil and use facts not name calling, sound reasoning and not sarcasm. I hope you all find this board as pleasant as i do , and I encourage all of you to contribute often, and I promise i will do my best to make all of you feel welcome here.

Mediterranean Diet Cuts Heart Disease Risk, Massive Study Finds
KhorTose replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
i also think from personal experience that being a nut is as good as eating them. Not taking yourself that seriously and having a sense of humor is definitely the formula for a long life. -
Are you the same scottishguy that was on SGT? If you are then you are more then welcome. If not, then were you aware that that is the name of a prominent well known poster on another board. That would not mean you weren't welcome, but we would like to get to know you as a different person rather then assuming you are the well known Scottishguy. Sorry about this, but I had to ask as it is quite common for some trolls to take a name off of one board and go to another board, sometimes just to make the persons whos handle they stole look bad.

Obama administration weighs in on defense of marriage law
KhorTose replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Bob---our resident Lawyer--thinks the court will rule DOMA legal due to the age and conservatism of the court. I disagree and think Roberts will find some reason to vote against it. I am making a public bet of dinner for four with Bob that the court does find some excuse to make DOMA illegal. One reason i believe this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/25/defense-of-marriage-act-unconstitutional-_n_1545884.html?ref=gay-voices&ir=Gay%20Voices -
No, just a coincidence, but his Thai boyfriejnd is named "O".

I like the new format. It is so much cleaner. I use Agoda often and will link to it here.

Shocking. When they are in a serious relationship at that age, it often leads to tragedy. I just feel there was no happy ending possible in this story.

""" Smoking allowed? Well, one kind is somewhat encouraged.""" That would be the kind that does not cause cancer and was recently made legal in Colorado and Washington State, and tolerated in most of Western Europe, right? You can give me that answer when you stop coughing and hacking up those darn cigs you smoke. In the meantime you can drink coffee and fruit drinks at Khortose's coffee house. Just follow the clouds of blue smoke.

Look down the alley for the Indigo sign and as you head for it the Fan club is on the left. Afterwards, I recommend the Indigo for good French food at a reasonable price.

Because stationary bikes are nau bua.
-
Not sure what you are trying to say here. Are you shocked or scandalized, or touting the film? If it is the former, the age of consent for most of Europe is 16, but if the boy next door is also a teenager I doubt whether their age difference would matter law wise in Europe.

I have been on a diet since the first of September and by weight has gone from 118K to 84K. I have not been doing any exercise, other then walking, as I find doing both diet and working out often does not work for me. I am ready to start working out now, along with my diet, and several friends have suggested riding a bicycle. I really don't think that is a safe thing to do in Thailand, and the recent death of the around the world couple kind of confirms that for me. http://road.cc/content/news/76476-uk-couple-riding-round-world-killed-thailand-just-weeks-after-their-film-accepted So question for the board and especially for Michael. Is it safe to ride a bike in Thailand?
-
Everyone can, but not with that short of information list. What are you looking to do hunt for boys or see the sites and experience the things you can do in Thailand? What is your budget? How long will you be here? It would even be nice to know how old you are and your ability to get around. I can think of other things, but lets start with those. By the way, you have come to the right place to get answers and welcome to the board.

Richard III was in charge. The two princes were in his protective custody. They were killed and walled up. Even if he did no do it directly, he is still responsible. Therefore, he is a not a good king in my book ever since the bodies have been found. Dream on Scottish Parliment and explain the Earl of Oxfords relationship to King James as he was a member of anti-catholic Elizabeth's court, and the real writer of those plays.

?????????? It was in five parts, but now it is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they got a lot of interest and just put it in 11 parts to generate more ads. Bless you youtube.

I would love to stay there, but you have to pay as I am a poor man. Actually, I have already decided that I will stay in Provence and do Arles, Avignon and Marseilles as a day trips. I love art, architecture and history and the area has all three in abundance. Hey, by mentioning Avignon I have brought this back to the subject. If the old Pope doesn't like the new Pope he has a palace already for him to go to, and do a do over.
