  1. Thank you for giving such a fine example of your paranoid idealization. People who have your defect never realize that they are creating their own world, and their own hell for that matter. I must be saying this because I am reading what your board now says is Neal's board. Yes, all my information comes from your board which I daily sign into, and yes, you may thank me for the traffic. Your "WE" is just another example of your weird thinking as your "WE" is obviously wrong unless trailrider is lying, as Michael obviously thinks he is. Maybe trailrider is Neal trying to make you look bad. If it is Neal, he succeeded.
  2. WE? Rather imperial of you. I do not know that this is Khun12, but thank god you did not suggest it was Neal whom you seem to see in every new board and every new member. Weeehoooo weehooo, Neal is probably reading this right now. You best run to PBB and find out what he is saying about all this. Weeehooo Weeehooo
  3. I am surprised that this lecture was given and that it is being punblished in a Paper in Thailand. However, you cannot talk about Thailand without recognizing the third hand in Thai politics. What this lecture does not talk about is who really controls this hand, so i am assuming as long as no mention is made of a possible controller that this is discussable. http://www.chiangmaicitynews.com/news.php?id=2620
  4. WHAT??????
  5. You must have a lot of time on your hands. I would tell you to go find yourself a BF, but I know you have at least one. How about learning Thai or some other time killer? Palindrome
  6. While I normally dislike censorship, getting rid of the Neal talk and the Bitch Board talk has resulted in a great improvement to SGT, and I too wish you success.
  7. I have had good results with booking com in Asia and Europe, but they completely suck in the USA. Agoda has mnever done me wrong and I believe the comments. I had three bad happening with booking com places in the USA and never once got asked to comment. One booked my room before I arrived and the other two had hidden charges and booking com was no help. Agoda for me in the USA, and I am so pissed off at booking com usa that I will not use them anywhere else again. PS I appreciate scooby and this board. I just wish she/he was here more often then she/he is.
  8. This is great, but you should have posted it in the picture of the day.
  9. My admiration for Stephen Fry continues to go up and up. He has written a very direct and personal letter to David Cameron about not attending the Russian Olympics. I only wish his sentiments were echoed in the USA. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/stephen-fry/stephen-fry-open-letter-to-david-cameron_b_3718389.html
  10. Don't you just love cats?
  11. Scotty FYI. It took exactly one year. It was not a straight downward line but one that went up and down with the trend to the down. I eat very few carbs and stay around 1000 calories a day. I try to walk at least 30 minutes a day. Also I eat the same things every day for breakfast and lunch, and only vary dinner. When I know I am going out to dinner or a buffet to pig out, I try to skip a meal beforehand. I am as skinny as you are in the picture but not as young looking. In fact, the fat made my face fill out and I actually looked younger as a fat man then a skinny man.
  12. I checked against a silver coin (.999) of one ounce 28.35 grams. It was right on.
  13. I am on a diet in which I have lost 38K. A month ago I bought a scale to weight the things without weights on them or the amount I take from the full weight. Recently I started to weigh the meats I buy and guess what. All the packages are 5% under weight from their label. Why am I not surprised. I would complain, but I doubt it would do any good. Only in Thailand. This is from the largest grocery chain in this country. Now I understand why they show a profit.
  14. As someone who loves to go to New York for the great exhibits at the Metropolitan, Fritz, MOMA, Guggenheim, etc., I can testify that Michaels knows how New yorkers talk and act. Yes Rogie you do not want to go anywhere near this city. As for me, NY is one of my favorite places in the world. After you get past the harsh language and in your face demeanor of most New Yorkers, you will find they are some of the best people you are ever going to meet.

    DOMA down

I know that many of you have some reasons to dislike this man, but this is one of the best summations I have read from a gay perspective on the DOMA decision. http://bangkokbois.wordpress.com/
  16. You are both being too serious. Maybe the only problem with religion is how we interpet what are suppose to be the messages from God. Maybe time will bring new answers.
  17. This women is what I would jokingly refer too as a typical blond. I think the spitits she believes in have clearly eaten her brain.
  18. I have noticed the Thais do come to Starbucks a lot. One is for the snacks (Mango pIe-FH), the other reason is that it seems to be the place to be seen. Sort of like showing you have arrived. There are at least 15 coffee shops on the 1/2K long Nimmenheimen Road in Chiang Mai which is near the Chiang Mai University, and surprisening Starbucks is alsways full of students and Thais.
  19. Bus ist zu teuer für Christian. Kein Zweifel, wird er zu Fuß gehen.
  20. Sadly, I am afraid i must agree. While I have little use for the democrats, I admit this was not only a stupid idea, but one that did not come anywhere near its goal of helping poor farmers. If they truly wanted to help the farmers they would have limited this buying scheme to small farmers that owned their own land. Instead the only people it seems to have benefited was big land owners and warehouse owners. A mistake or just a different group of the rich lining their own pockets from with the governments money. How sad.
  21. Damn, I had planned to serve you the cutest, sweetest bar boy on a pizza platter when you next came to Chiang Mai. Since you have also eliminated "mussel" boys, all I have left to serve you is the fat mammasan with the "cheesy" taste. How sad.
  22. Well, I have changed my habits somewhat. In Thailand, I only tip 10% max, where in America it would be 15%-20%. I would never call someone who does not tip in Thailand a cheap Charlie, but I am with KoKo in that I feel the wages are far to low and know what is small money to me, is not to them. Frankly, I enjoy doing it, in the hopes that he might make someone's life happier.
  23. I was just reading an article today about the same thing from a different angle. I think it was the Gaurdian, but I can't find the article I read, but here is the original. http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/06/16/thailand-northeast-idUSL3N0DJ2N820130616?feedType=RSS&feedName=industrialsSector I think it may affect the number of boys going South, but I would not worry about not seeing Udorn Thani before this change takes place as there is not a whole lot to see. Far more interesting is Nong Khai and its proximity to Vientiene, and its wonderful sculpture park.
  24. I was buying hill tribe coffee from a lady that was working with one of the indigenous groups and it was some of the best coffee i have ever had and the price was 250 baht a kilo. Wish she had not left town.
  25. I have read with great interest all of your plans and advice, but my choice is far simpler. i am just going to live forever.
