Lapos, When appropriate, I hope you will let Mick know how much support he has from the forum members. Hopefully, this good news will continue. -
If you are looking for suggestions I would wait awhile and see how many personals you get. It is possible that we may be having some trolls or pranksters just having fun....pretending to be what they aren't to see if they get any replies.

"As for my own, at present I am butterflying and enjoying the hell out of it. I do have a few on my top five list, but I'm not looking for anything permanent. But if I do find the one I think is just perfect for me, at least I'll have quite a bit of experience in Thailand behind me and I'm in a much better position than the average holiday maker to know what I'm doing and what I'm getting myself into."...........GB Be a good sport and post the pictures of your top 5. I wonder if they are also in Geezer's top 5............come to think of it, they might be in my top 5. Geezer, would you mind posting your top 5 also?

Being the good hearted man you are, please share the fun with us too......Pictures please It will be hands off approach for all of us.........darn!

I thought that when I wrote the poll and said this was just for fun, posters would realize that I was not trying to be malicious. I understand that GT adores his boyfriend. "I didn't really get into the detail of what the clincher was for the BF to go on the trip, but I did make a fantastic accommodation that made him jump for joy!" was what GT posted. So I thought it would be fun to guess what made him jump for joy. I realize it is not any of our business. I just thought with the incredibly fun loving posters we would get some funny answers. There were a couple, but in my reading some of the other posts, it seems some did not share my sense of humor. Whatever

Arrest those they know have talked to him or taken money and charge them with aiding and abetting a felon

Of course I have no idea and it is not for anything but fun that I post this poll.

I have seen bikes for rent at Cabbages and Condoms. I don't know the condition of the bikes or if you have to be a guest. I asked once and I remember they said it was something like 300 baht. There are some nice hills around that area and the Pattaya Park

not to be picky, but one rest day is missing, I think

Tourist Industry in Deep Trouble - Seeks Government Help
PattayaMale replied to Gaybutton's topic in Gay Thailand
Thank you Fountainhall. Very informative -
Would it make sense to take him on a ride around Pattaya that includes some hills and some narrow roads first (Like tomorrow) and see what he thinks then. Since he is a beginner, there would probably be no problem as RICHLB suggested in letting him ride a bit and help out in the safety vehicle. That way when you do your next trip he will be more confident in his decision. It may well turn out that he enjoys doing it. So I vote to have him try a medium trip first, let him ride a few miles each day on the trip, and help out in the safety vehicle. There is no face loss in doing that. Let the others know he is a beginner and has not trained enough yet. I am sure they all would understand and would be happy to have him along. To just tell him it is hard and try to discourage him after he has thought about doing the trip seems a bit....wrong.

Thank you Lapos for keeping us informed. Also great thanks to Tim and Tom for taking such good care of our friend Mick. It is a wonderful feeling to know that our community in Pattaya is to be counted on. Mick has always been a fighter and thankfully is. -
Would we also call a Black person intolerant if he criticized the KKK for trying to convert people to their views? Was it not the Mormon church that funded much of Proposition 8 in California which denies marriage to gays, which attacks equality for gays? A friend sent this link to me. It is worth a look. From Sister Betty Bowers (America's Best Christian) And if that was too fast for you, you may prefer

A Christian group decided it needed to come to Pattaya "the greatest sex city" and put on a concert at a local bar. The invited crowd was Christian and just drank coke. At the end of the concert the band began praying to God to save the city.............. Bluetree Group

For me it is not necessarily the skin shade nor culture nor even gay or straight. The thing that makes me attracted to someone for sex is such a range of things I can not even describe it. But I do know it when I see it. As to "those hot young Caucasian studs" not being attracted to "ME", I have learned that it may be surprising that there probably are some hot young studs attracted to older men. Just visit the "daddy" web sites. Oh yes, and remember RichLB it is their loss, not yours!

In reading the story posted, I wonder if it is the same "13 year old boy" whose mother keeps going to the police. According to a poll of Thais recently, the police were judged to be very corrupt. Going to the police if you are set up by police usually has bad results..........something about a thin brown line

In my view if the Bangkok owners wanted to attract the Bangkok gay scene they might have put NAB in Bangkok. I am glad it is in Pattaya. I have heard from many gay Thai (Pattaya) that they enjoy the place. I believe a few more farang will start showing up once the word gets out a little more. They do bring people in from Bangkok as coyote dancers. They are not always the same guys. As for me, I am happy if the Bangkok boys start coming to Pattaya. I like the university gays that I some times meet in Bangkok. Good luck to them

Our dear friend Mick - May He Rest in Peace!
PattayaMale replied to Gaybutton's topic in Gay Thailand
Hello to everyone, I just got off the phone with Tim who informed me that Mick had a peaceful and uneventful night. He has spoken with the doctor who informed him that there was a slight improvement in his reflective response to stimulus. The doctor was pleased with this but also wanted Tim to know that this improvement did not change the continuing prognosis. The doctors have said that their intentions are to monitor Mick for the next few days before trying to arrive at a decision for the next course of action. If any other information becomes available I will certainly pass it on to all of you. Tom -

Dear friends, The situation remains very critical. The doctors have said that they do not anticipate any more scans, procedures, or interventions today. They have advised us that the prognosis for improvement or recovery is almost non-existant. We can all only hope and pray for him. More as we have any more information to tell you. Another Pedophile Arrest in Pattaya - Heterosexual This Time

Having someone under surveillance for 3 years, must cost a lot of man hours -
Ken from Little Mango is in Bangkok Bumrungrad helping take care of Allen as you thought. Also in Jomtien, Stone Grill and ZasZas (spell??) is closed with no sign saying when or if they will reopen. ZasZas (famous for their Monday chicken special) has been operating for over 7 years. Do you think that Thailand has learned yet that by putting more visa restrictions in place, closing roads and airports, and threatening to take back property from married couples (Thai-farang) unless they prove the Thai had money without the farang), has an unsettling effect? And continuing to support a strong baht, makes Thailand less attractive for investment, trade and tourism.

It seems that the stroke that was reported earlier has fortunately turned out to be something else. Mick is NOT paralyzed on one side, but is certainly not out of danger either. I was told that the hospital will open an artery that is closing in the back of his head, going through an artery in his thigh. -

I always liked Mick. Sorry to hear about his problem too. I wish he would have been transferred to Bumrungrad. I have much more confidence in that hospital.
