Today 18 Jan 12 a group of 2 farang and 3 Thais went to the Khao Chamao Waterfall in Rayong which is less than 2 hours from Pattaya along Sukhumvit Road. It is not only absolutely beautiful; there were also a large group of university age guys swimming in one of the several swimming "ponds" in the river. Personally, I am not in very good physical shape so I only made it to level 2 which is almost 1k up the hill (level 8 is 2.6K). The first swimming area is about 400 meters up the mountain side. At the second level we stopped to feed the fish. It was fun to see about 200 fish trying to get the food. The water is very clear as the shore is pure rock, not mud. There are also picnic tables at the park entrance as well as a little snack shop. The hiking part of the park closes at 6pm. There are also cabins to rent inside the park. Entrance fee was 30 pp and 50 baht for the car

For several different nights I wandered around Sunee Plaza in Pattaya and noticed that many bars have very good crowds, many with whiskey bottles on several tables. I imagine the owners of those bars are pleased. Around 9:30 pm I noticed Oud's was completely full! I had their chicken sandwich which was very good. All of Me 1 was also completely full with in the staff moving chairs into the street. When a group of us tried to pay our bill we noticed most of their staff had been invited by customers to sit and drink. Wan's and Up 2 you were also fairly full. Both of these places serve food but from what I saw most customers were drinking. Other bars I noticed had very good crowds were Come In Bar, Ya Ya Bar, Duc's and ??Green Chairs (don't know the name)....I did not go to any of the GoGo bars so i have no information on those. Two of the bars that had very few customers for whatever reason were Stardust and Corner Bar. I know Stardust has been having some staffing problems according to what they posted on a different board, but the are open for now.

All of Me 2, New Massage Parlor Sunee Plazza
PattayaMale replied to PattayaMale's topic in Gay Thailand
I talked with the owner of All of Me 2 tonight Jan 16 about the massage part of his new business. He told me that he has all the licenses now but he is still looking for the guys to do the massages. They need to be licensed to work there (at least a few, according to the license). The owner said he had talked to a few but they were wanting a job right away (and the license was not approved then). So the beer bar part is open but no one yet to do the massages. -
All of Me 2, New Massage Parlor Sunee Plazza
PattayaMale replied to PattayaMale's topic in Gay Thailand
I have not been to All of Me 2 since they employed the massage boys. I was there the first night it opened the beer bar part. I have however talked to the owner about his new venture. He mentioned that one thing he has found in Bangkok is that most massage parlors is that the people they employ know how to give massages. He said he was thinking of asking customers that choose to do so, fill out a simple survey. The owner seemed that his vision was to provide a good massage service. @Thaiworthy...In my opinion your comment about fem, ladyboys and Sunee Plaza is a stereotype that I don't understand. (I know you said it doesn't matter but since you mentioned it). Beer bars that I go to, Ouds, All of Me, Come Inn and others like Crazy Dragon, Eros, seem to have guys that run the spectrum. There are many masculine guys in Sunee. Yes there are what you call "fem" guys there also. What amazes me is how tolerant Thais are about different types of people compared to many Westerners. Everyone has "their" type, but why are some Westerners so critical of others? What is that saying about "glass houses" -
It seems that GayThailand has very few announcements about parties and openings in Pattaya. I have wondered why other boards have so many more announcements. I realize that there are 2 other boards that have these type of announcements. The owners of those boards have made good contacts with venue owners who email them or put up announcements on those boards themselves. On this GayThailand Board there seems to be only a few active posters. Why has this board not kept or attracted a more diverse posting group? The Domain Name seems to be perfect..Gay Thailand. So anyone doing a search about gays in Thailand might think it is a good board to go to.I have thought "Why do I not post more often on this site?" The thoughts I have may not be justified, but a few are: The sign in does not happen automatically. Some times I read a post which can be done without signing in. I find the topic interesting and click to make a reply which then tells me I ma not logged on. Then when I go back to log on I have started at step one. I loose interest and go to another board I use the boards more to learn what is going on at gay venues and restaurants, rather than posting. Content on here on this board is lacking. Yes I understand that if I posted about events I hear about it may help, but it also seems that current members are not so interested in Pattaya...my view I was a little upset when the new owner took over and had a contest then changed rules then cancelled the contest after many of us had spent time posting many posts. Time has gone by and I should be over that...but sometimes I am too stubborn. I am not fond of the "Flirt" advertisement at the top of the board only because it takes so much space. After having seen it so many times, I ignore it anyway but still must scroll down to see content. Also the guys are not Asian. People who have newly found the board for the first time may think it is just a porn site and not realize the board the board has some good information. It probably is the only thing that generates any income for the owner and I think the owner made a large investment when buying the board...I have no idea really. Anyway, valid or not those are my thoughts. Two things I really like about the Board is that there are not post about "should I change my condom when have a group orgy", Which I feel are really stupid and degrade a board. Also, I think this board is a place a person can feel comfortable posting without being flamed or belittled.

The owner of All of Me Bar in Sunee Plaza, Pattaya, has opened the only massage Parlor 4 men by men in Sunee. It just opened 15 Jan 12. It is more than a massage parlor. It is also an open beer bar next to Crazy Dragon GoGo. I think it is a nice concept. Many massage places are closed off with the massage boys sitting outside. (I realize Jomtien has the same concept.) At All of Me 2 the street level floor is open as a bar with hosts as well as massage boys. The next floor up are some very beautiful massage rooms each with private shower and air conditioning. I took a tour before they had the massage boys in place and thought the rooms were very well done.

I know very little about religion. I do have a view about it though. I don't believe in almost any of what is preached, but certainly leave room that my view may be wrong. "The Bible says God created man in his own image." ..Thaiworthy ..For most of us it is very hard to understand how something, anything can be created from nothing. So who created the first "something"? (I know the bibles were commissioned works so dismiss them as being anything more.) But where did the first "something" come from?

Actually I like the new "skin" or look. I do really like the "View New Content" since all sub forums show newest posts. I have never been very good at going to each sub forum. Scooby did at one time say to post everything in the main GayThailand sub forum and he would move it to the correct sub forum later. The "View New Content" option is much better. Things can be posted in the correct sub forum. I still see all the new posts but now if I am interested in JUST "GayThailand" I do not have to sort through posts that have nothing to do with Gay Thailand. Actually if I had originally seen the sub forum for "Problems and Suggestions" I would have posted this in the correct sub forum. (Maybe some moderator would move it there). So I like this but would suggest if it is at all possible, use the ENTIRE screen as the other Boards do. 1/2 of the screen here is not being used at all. Is it possible to have the forum spread across the entire screen? Other than that I like this. (Now that I understand to change my bookmark)

I am sorry for hijacking the Baht Bus topic. There does seem to be a few small bugs with the new interface however when I did NOT use my bookmark the board opened. Since my password was "remembered" when I used my bookmark, I could not remember my password at first. (My problem) I do not know if others are confused at first by "View New Content". I clicked it could post a reply but not not see how to post a new topic. I learned that I must click on Forums first, go to the forum I want to post in and select "New Topic". Hope I did not cause to much concern.

I use google chrome. I never had a problem before. I see unfollow this topic and another button that says reply. It is not that important. I don't post often anyway. But since you are not having a problem I am sure it must just be me. No problem

I don't understand, even if someone was not regularly visiting the site why they (da boss) would delete email addresses?

The post could have been written for DaBoss/Justme. That does not mean they are not the same person, just that someone else wrote the letter. -
The Sun pays damages over false child sex offence claim
PattayaMale replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
How true, the damage can be terrible! This is one of the reasons I think it is not appropriate for ANY forum to allow posting of news reports about pedophiles or sex abuse charges BEFORE the final verdict, which may take years here in Thailand. A good friend of mine lived in Pattaya and was accused in a local newspaper of having sex with under legal age boy. His picture was in the paper and people began posting about him on forums. Very mean things said and posted about him. He was so depressed he stopped going out and was so embarrassed because he was NOT GUILTY he claimed. Even so he was being judged by our community that assumed he was guilty. Two years and a few months later the Thai court ruled that he was not guilty. There was no black listing or restrictions placed on him. Yet he felt he could not stay here because of how our community treated him. Really too bad. -

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. It does not surprise me to hear you say that the reaction on SGT was entirely negative. That is the reputation of that Board. I also do not understand why you think that because you served in the German military, you would not be a veteran. Why would you think that? Veteran just refers to someone with long experience in a field. Nationality has nothing to do with it. Now how about a bit of common sense. Do you REALLY think the bar was going to ask for discharge papers? The owner was trying to do something nice. He should be thanked for it! -
HA HA..my maximum stay is 3 days! But we did build a guest house about 100m from my friend's Mother's small house we built for her. You are welcome to stay there. It has a bedroom, large 'family' room, bathroom with a shower for 6, and is completely air conditioned.............but not internet, so you can just relax!! Here is a picture of the outside.

They have a new owner who also owns a bar in Pattaya. They have new rules. BUT depending on the Venue someone posts about the rules are "flexible". -

Anything for you Michael...(as a figure of speech). I am sure the men of the service appreciate your efforts very much. Is it true enlistment went up during that time? I will indeed have a drink in your honor. "Bottoms up!!" -
NEW Message Board for gay Thailand planned
PattayaMale replied to PattayaMale's topic in Gay Thailand
Thanks to all of you that have given me suggestions and comments about a new Board. I do now have a 'skeleton' in place have I have asked a very few number of friends to register to help me learn if the functions are working correctly. Learning how to create a Board has been interesting for me to learn. I am doing it myself. I have never done anything like this before and am grateful for the help other Board owners have given me. It is a SLOW process for me. So please understand that it may be a few months. Thanks again! -

I have not heard nor do I view this promotion as disrespectful. I thought it was nice that a bar wanted to honor those that have served in the military. Pattaya is a monument to many who served during the Vietnam conflict as many came to Pattaya for R&R (Rest and Relaxation). If it was not for the foreign military, we might not of even had a Pattaya! The drink prices are so low at Happy Boys Bar anyway, I can understand why it would be 50% off the second drink. As the owner learned it would be hard for his staff to know who had been in the military, so a change to "50% off everyone's second drink in honor of those that served" should have been fine! I can't see any disrespect! I am sorry for the owner that he experienced this! -

This is very nice of Happy Boys Bar. I am trying to get clarification that this will be only happening at Happy Boys Bar? I ask because it is posted by Eros, another bar in Sunee. Regardless, it is very generous. Thanks for not asking us to wear our old uniforms. I know there are many tailors in Pattaya, but probably not enough cloth.... -
The sewage disposal was a large black container that was buried in the ground. I understand that the solids drop to the bottom and the liquid drains off. I am not sure how it works. I do know it is pumped out into a truck once every year or so. The water is a small diameter pipe from the local school.Several years ago the Thai army drilled a well at the school and laid some pipe to the land. I have no idea how it is metered or if it is, but the school is paid each month. We later bought a pump and above ground water storage tank since water does not always come to the property. It just comes at night.
