Another variety is to use rice cakes if you can't find the cereal Rice Krispy. Not as good in my opinion but still works.

Since this appears in English language Pattaya Daily News, I think there is no mistake in my belief that the story has less to do with someone stealing something, than the headline which shouts LADYBOY. If it was a straight man or lady, would the headline be, "Straight man Thief caught stealing in South Pattaya." NO! Talk about stealing, when will the Pattaya Daily News, report on other thefts like the policeman who last night was standing at Second Road and Pattayaland soi 2 stealing money from tourists for trumped up infractions. I witnessed a policeman standing with a ticket pad stopping only foreigners on motorbikes who seemed to commit no infraction. There were several Thais riding from Beach Road to Second Road on Pattayaland soi 2. Many without helments, on cell phones while driving. All just drove by the policeman without a problem. Then a foreign couple, with helmets on and doing nothing wrong that I saw, was stopped. They asked what they did wrong and the policeman only said, "no good, 500 baht". The couple asked again, yet no explanation, just a waving of the ticket book, and "500 baht". Easy to see, easy to report on, but is it ever reported? Not that I have read

I am trying to loose some weight by using the Atkins method, low carbohydrates. It has worked fairly well so far as I have lost 12 kilos on a bit over 3 weeks, but the rapid weight loss is now down to a crawl. I still would like to loose another 24 kilos. The Atkins book suggests that I use "ketosis/lipolysis" sticks which are just strips of paper that will turn purple when you urinate on them if you are in Ketosis. I checked a couple places (really hard to explain it to most Thai pharmacies), but at first they think I am talking about strips that show drug use. Anyone know where I can purchase these in Pattaya?

I know 2 people now that have purchased this foam topper. Both have told me they are fantastic. I did not remember the price being that high, but checking with my other friend who purchased one the other day, it is the right price. I was told that even putting it on the floor for occasional guests works well too.

True we all get older, even the boys that when they first entered the business, who were stars, fade. They are still really nice guys. Give us good memories, but from just a business/customer point of view, the stock should not get too old. I am not talking about solely age. There are super stars who entered the business recently but are around 30 years of age. My experience is that those that have newly entered, are usually the most fun and adventurous.

I will be here. When, where? I think a bigger response if people know where and when

When Kevin Quill went into partnership with the owners of Ambiance Hotel, the property that is now called the COPA had very nice hotel rooms built that was part of or managed bythe Ambiance Hotel. When the property was sold to the current owners of what is now the COPA, the new owners made a deal with Cafe Royale for them to manage their rooms. An entrance was cut into Cafe Royal at reception so the one desk could take care of BOTH hotels under the name Cafe Royale. A year or so ago that arrangement ended. Now Cafe Royale now just offer the older rooms that was part of the original Cafe Royale. Copa manages its own rooms

Rain, Rain, high humidity, heat, heat and this morning a 5.1 earthquake South of Java, Indonesia. I know this is the rainy season but even my Thai friend says he can't remember when the weather was like this! Global warming at her best?

Here is a link to an article in the Bangkok Post about internet Censorship in Thailand. Very good reading about cyber crime law which cam into effect in 2007 Thailand's Cyper Crime Law

The ipad seems to be the same as an Andriod smartphone with a bigger screen. I can use wifi, 3G and tethering from my HTC phone and sync my computer to certain applications and use voice commands to open and close applications and type letters and email. Since it is Bluetooth, wifi, I can send things I need to print to my wireless printer. So take that I-pad. Android is on the move to over take and destroy you....

In regards to having two "telephone" lines, now it is not necessary to have any telephone connected. Service can be without the telephone I believe. Now that Somphom Cable is also offering service through their TV service, could you not have one service with CAT or 3BBB and one through TV Cable. Most condos have the cable already installed. Many DSL providers base the service on a shared line. Some priced for 5 users, some for 15 or 16 users. Will this also effect the speed, even if you are balanced? Is it those gamers and torrent users that grab much of the bandwidth?

Last night 5 of us went to eat at Central Festival 5th Floor at All Seasons. All Seasons is an all you can eat steak, chicken, fish, salad bar, dessert, with soft drinks included place for one price of 285 baht which includes a 10% add on. We all agreed that the food was good. It has a wide selection on food including pizza, spaghetti, several Thai salads, as well as the choice of meats. One of the guys in our group said the ice cream was very good. He also mentioned it to the owner on the way out. They give you plenty of time to eat, but like several all you can eat places, it is timed. If you stay too long, you will have an additional charge.

The night after the opening of Cafe Music, I returned to see how the place was doing. I had been told that a new air conditioner was coming. It was about 9:15pm when I stopped by. Sadly, there was not one customer inside.

I went to the relaunch of Cafe Royale August 17. It had good support from the community. I saw several people I have not seen for awhile. The owners even had trays of "finger food" being delivered by the waiters as El Duo sang. The look is crisp and modern. and the bar is curved which looks good. All the wood and cabinets have been removed as has the elevated seating area. The front of the cafe has wooden folding doors so the doors can be opened to include the terrace. It really looks nice. I hope that the owners will correct some things that seem to be over looked or did not turn out as planned, such as: Opening the doors in front so those siting on the terrace can see in to the Cafe has made the Cafe way too hot! The air con, is not even close to adequate. Several of my friends decided go across the street to Funny Boys which has good air con. The Cafe's menu should maybe change to match the "new look". 2 friends had chosen to eat dinner there. They both said, their dinner was not that good. Now since the Cafe was severing other "free" food, it could be that they were not set up to do both that night. The sound system needs adjustment. The sound is terrible. It bangs off all the hard surfaces so you get a real echo effect. El Duo did their best but with the sound system and nothing to deaden the sound waves bouncing all over the place the quality was lost. If you are looking for a nice quiet meal, well, with all the hard surfaces, conversation is difficult. It would be like eating in a bus station. Again nothing to soften or deaden the sound. I realize that this opening night review sounds negative. However, Cafe Music could return to their glory days if they now focus in on the "other" important things.

Is it possible to revamp the forums so instead of searching for things in different SE Asian countries there would be a forum SPECIFICALLY for travel tips and reports from China, Cambodia,Laos,Burma (Myanmar), Butan(?). Two reasons: First, members of the Gaythailand community have traveled to those countries and have some really great tips and interesting insight on those countries. Gay Travelers to Thailand are starting to think of taking short trip from Thailand to these other countries now that the flight cost is lower thanks to AirAsia and maybe when Tiger Air is up and running it may be even more competitive. Second, then could each forums have income generating links from AirAsia, Hotels, etc. Also, I think it may be worthwhile seeing if Bangkok Post, or other sources like that would be a paying link. I read the Post everyday and get some good travel ideas from the paper. Since GayThailand.com is a website and not just a message board having these additional forums would be of great help to the Gay Thailand Community.

I have no idea how websites make money. I understand that if you sell an add, you would charge for the space. How does many "Hits" generate income? So lets day I post 3 post a day. Does that increase the revenue? If I understood it better, I could make suggestions.

Dear Abby is still around but of course not written by the orginal person. I am not clear what you mean by a forum to discuss personal/relationship problems. I am certain I would not want to discuss MY problems, buy am more than willing to discuss your problems publicly :0

Using google chrome or IE, after I am logged in and close the tab and then return later using a new tab, I was logged in, but it took me to the home page and then I had to click on the message board page. I did this not from a bookmark but typed in Gaythaind.com into the broweser.

My biggest disappoint with GayThailand has always had to do with the login. Most (all I use)boards will remember me and automatically let me enter. On this site, I must click login in each time. My username and password are remembered but I must still click login. Since the top part of the page that features all the escorts delays my going to the message board, sometimes up to 10 seconds, it is annoying. It is as annoying to get a message that says, "If you don't want to wait click here". I don't believe anyone really likes to wait and read the message and then click each time I come to the site. Also, I like the fact that a can receive an email alerting me that some one has replied to a topic I am following. When I click the link in my email it takes me to the new post. That is good, BUT after I read the new post, I can not reply with out scrolling to the top of the page and again need to press "login"., and then waiting for the message board to open again 5 - 10 seconds. This has frustrated so much that many times I just don't post. I am happy that you will be looking in to this.

GT wrote:"One of these boys almost stole my heart a few years back as he was perfect for me in EVERY way except his lack of English and his wife. The wife is now gone and his English is much improved. He is a charmer. Sexually, one of my top 10 on the planet." Why not enter him in the photo contest for sexy boy or best smile? Or at least give us his number on his shorts. PLEASE...

I find the editor's note that I have posted below to be very interesting. PDN has always been the one to be "on the scene" when any arrests are made. To me they almost seem to be on call from the police station. Many times there is no follow up to the arrest. Never a mention of when a foreigner is acquitted. So I was surprised to see the editor's note. Many of us have felt that people get set up all the time. Maybe a famous Russian has helped PDN understand that some times things are not as they seem. In the case below a Norwegian and his date for the night. Here is the Editor's Note: Editors Note: Without negating the seriousness of any case involving sexual intercourse with a minor, this particular instance reveals some very
