  1. The more mature Asian guys, I find them very sexy. If they are in decent physical shape with a mature manly appearance along with the confidence that maturity brings.... All I can say is. YES!
  2. Just tell them "Thank you for letting me know" They tend to reply that if it is too much they can accept less. Even the non-thai tend to say the same thing.
  3. I think you're trying to bait me into something I don't want a part of. I'll just accept your opinion in the spirit it was given.
  4. Seems I'm on the radar for retaliatory posts. I'm going to see how this plays out.
  5. On one trip to Pattaya, I went with a Thai friend from Bangkok but he was often mistaken for a Caucasian guy. He wanted to go to Pattaya and off a gogo guy for sex. I had to do all the talking because he didn't want anyone to realize he was Thai and once he spoke, he said they would know he was Thai. We went to Abomb and found a guy he liked. I did all the talking and offed him. All 3 of us went back to the condo and seperately took a shower. I had to help start them off by touching and talking to the gogo guy and had him lay on the bed. I pulled my thai friend to us and as they began I began to pull away. When they started getting into it, I wrapped a towel around myself and sat on the balcony to give them some privacy. When I came back into the room they were in full fuck mode. I sat and watched. When they were done the gogo guy asked me why I didn't join them. I had plans for my Thai friend but I made up some excuse to him. In truth I didn't know what the cost of a 3way would run and I was looking forward to having fun with my Thai friend when we settled into bed alone. He was worth the wait. In the morning my Thai friend and I talked about the night and through the conversation he told me that a 3 way would not have cost us anymore in the tip. The guy agreed to the 3 way in the bar for 1700 baht. When I mentioned the tip, I thought I was striking the deal for one but they both thought I was arranging a 3way.
  6. I've only been cheated once in a bar. That was Neal's old bar after he turned it all over to his old boyfriend. The bar hired a ladyboy that bothered me constantly to buy her a drink and when I flat out refused she seem to have an attitude. When it was time for me to go she took the check and the cash rather than let the waiter do it. She never came back with my change so I sat there for about an hour enjoying myself and when the staff asked me if I wanted a drink I told them no, I was waiting for my change. I forget how much my change was but I am sure it was less than 90 baht. I remember thinking how I came out the winner of that swindle. But it was the last time I ever set foot in his bar again. Once when I passed the bar he begged me to come in. It kinda broke my heart.
  7. You have a point, I often forget about the beach aspect of pattaya. Sure I'm reminded of it when I'm looking right at it but it seems under appreciated and not fully taken advantage of. One thing for sure, the place has a lot of untapped potential.
  8. without walking street where would all the straight people go to be entertained? I guess they would come to boyztown to walk past, take pictures and watch a show or two to be able to go home and exaggerate what they saw! I think that would be great. I'm surprised that no-one setup a tiki type of bar on the beach to serve the guys that want to be social but not rent a chair. They can just belly up to the bar and be served by the speedo wearing bartender and strike up a chat with others and then go back to his rented seat or so.... Maybe he could help setup beach massages with hard to get massage guys.
  9. I often wonder why I don’t feel as if I am at the shore when I am in Pattaya. When I am at the shore in Atlantic City, Wildwood and Rehoboth Beach, you know you are at the shore and the shopkeepers try to cater to the tourists. Everyday seems to be the start of the party with the weekends pushing the fun over the top with the large crowds that seem to come from nowhere. I think I would enjoy the shore more here in the USA if the beach was run a lot like Thailand. I would love to find umbrellas and chairs rented where the staff also served food and drinks at competitive prices. In Pattaya, it would be nice to have a place along the beach, not far from the crowds where friends could drink, play games (Electronic or otherwise).eat and hottie watch. When the sun goes down that same spot could turn on the disco light, Serve drinks, have the staff perform a well practice dance and do the things that remind people they are on vacation. In the USA. I would love to see Massage people offering massages on the beach like it is done in Thailand. I would also love to have a vendor selling fresh cooked shell fish next to you as you lounge on the beach. My friends and family always ask me if I had shrimp cooked and served for me at the beach. I only had it one once and after all the flies I decided to never do it again! I would love to see more entertainment attractions along the beach. I think in every beach boardwalk in the USA there is some little amusement park area that has a haunted house and bumper cars. I would love to have that in Thailand. Something I can do with friends there that does not have to do with sex, eating, drinking or shopping. Maybe even put-put golf. In the USA, I want a Thai Style Walking Street. A wild street where anything goes or just gives the impression that anything could go. I also want Thai style Baht buses and Motorbike Taxi’s. I would love to see some change in Pattaya… But I don’t want to change Pattaya. I would hate to go there and feel like I am home in the USA. Yes I would love to see more general entertainment to draw fun crowds to the beach, but I would hate it if the feel of Pattaya resembled that of western culture. I want Pattaya to be Pattaya but just more beachie….
  10. I remember when I was at a bar on a side street near golden cock. I had a drink with a worker there and the ladyboy mamasan would not leave us alone. When I was done, I tipped the guy I was with and she asked for a tip too. Sigh.... I gave her 20 baht and she whispered in English to the guys, "only little baht." It made me smile inside because she whispered in English so that I would understand but I thought she should consider herself lucky because she made my stay there seem like work. Haha
  11. Why would anyone want to contribute when they will have to take an attack from you? Your post don't encourage posts. They do the opposite.
  12. I avoid the Jet Ski Scams so I guess they don't exist... LOL https://youtu.be/Mqi07Dc68Lk
  13. Yes... Focus on me rather than the fact of the scam. It's the victims fault! Haha!
  14. Probably has a lot to do with how they get about. Are their movements limited to bars and restaurants. They probably tend to shop at the malls and places like tesco lotus. The ones that experience the scams are the ones that explore on foot and shop at markets and places that don't have set prices. We are the people who are exploring thailand and tend to do it without asking for thai help.
  15. I dont argue on message boards. It's just entertainment.
  16. Your not reading, your just posting replies..... I'm going to take a break from this thread for a while. It's the weekend and there are things I want to enjoy and just not continue to go back and forth with one poster in a no win conversation. Anyway, enjoy your weekend and I sincerely mean that
  17. Scams elsewhere have nothing to do with scams in Thailand. This is a thread about scams in thailand in a forum about thailand. You're right, I didn't mention the phone model, it's not relevant and it's just another thing you want to argue over.
  18. I can see the jomtien complex becoming the model for gay bars when gogo and massage places are being leaned on by the authorities. I wonder when the war on gay saunas will begin anew...
  19. There is a bar in pantip plaza? As far as drinking goes, I don't drink much, but I do indulge in cola when I'm on vacation and a beer now and then. But I've never thought..... man, I sure could use a beer. And I never thought.... I'm going to enjoy some drinking tonight. It's often you will find just cranberry juice mixed with orange juice in my glass. Thailand is known as the land of fakes and copies. I know the Rolex I got for 300 baht is not a real Rolex. If the guy who sold me the Rolex swapped it for a fake Casio without me noticing then that would be a scam as well. I can go to my local weekend market and have no fear of slight of hand scams. My Thai friends often tell me of the popular scams. The problem is that the scammers are well practiced in their deception and the common tourist often don't stand a chance. But that is part of the thrill. Sitting on the plane going home with the satisfaction that you avoided the worst scams.
  20. The phone I selected had a functioning fingerprint reader as well as more memory. During Packaging the one that they put in the box had far less memory and the fingerprint reader did not function. On one of the phones that my friend purchased it lacked a functioning camera. In a text message i asked my Filipino friend how their phone was working and they told me he thinks they switched his phone.
  21. You were not scammed with your watch purchase. The seller used slight of hand in my purchase. It was a classic scam.
  22. The phone I purchased is still 8n perfect working order. It's just not the phone they pretended to put on the box. In the many shops in thailand they tend to sell 3 grades of copy phones. I selected and paid for the grade "A" copy and they pretended to give me that one. What I got was a different grade "B" Why do I stress that it's a scam? It's just firecat and I refusing to give an inch to each other...
  23. Still is a scam that first time travelers should be made aware of. Just because the shop seems legit it does not mean you won't get scammed.
  24. Not so. this post is about scams so I'm sharing the times I got scammed in thailand. I'm sure I'll get scammed again in the future. Thats life.
