Ok. I admit I loved the movie. I love those kinds of things. So, I was excited to see how this new TV adaptation started. I was not disappointed. This was a good setup for the season. The show was fun to watch and left me wanting more. Not a lot of action yet, but hints of it to come.

LA tried to Ram their cock up the Patriots ass but the New England team pulled it out right before cumming and shot their load in the 4th quarter.

Jar, you are getting good advice from people who know the system. I tend to only take guys I am interested in and usually know in 5 minutes if I am going to be with them or not. I always tip at least 200 baht but if I know I want the guy on a future date, more is good too. I do the same no matter the city or venue. Often if I like someone and just want them to hang with me I'll tell them I'll stay through the show but can't take them home but will tip 500 baht if they want to stay with me for a bit. I never get that offer refused. But, it could be possible if the guy is looking for an off. With guys I have been with many times, I often have them over for a drink and I tip them better than mentioned above depending on how much I like them. Some guys I know from Pattaya and I always tip 500 or 1000 to "help" them out and to catch up on old times. In the end, it is up to you but just be kind and fair and all the boys will know you are good.

I like her. I don't love her. I like Bernie. I don't love him. I like Cory. I don't love him. I like Biden. I do love him but is that enough? It will be an interesting primary.

It was a great game against the Rams. The Patriots came out on top. The last quarter was fun to watch.

Guesses on travel time from Pattaya to Don Muang?
TotallyOz replied to baobao's topic in Gay Thailand
The key (IMHO) and baring traffic messes is finding a driver that knows the roads and gets you there without taking shortcuts to save money. My BF works near Don Muang daily and he goes from BangNa Expressway to Don Muang twice each day and never has an issue. But, it was a learning curve for him and he used the highways and motorways. Be sure your driver knows that area and your friend will be fine. -
My point above about ladyboys was a bit subtle and I am not picking on you Z. However, I never really understand why all gay men can't just accept the YUGE differences in our community. I don't want sex with ladyboys (most of the time) but they are part of the culture and I welcome them. I have seen on the forums too many comments that are negative about ladyboys, fem boys, gay boys, etc. What some like others do not, vice versa. Coming out in NYC for me was an odd place as things were so segregated. There were clubs that catered to just gay Latinos or butch lesbians or drag queens, etc. What I have always preferred is a place that is inclusive of all and accepts all. Ladyboys, fat ladyboys, gay boys, fem boys, manly guys, and not gay boys but gay for pay. All should be openly welcome IMHO. As far as the shape, most people do not like bigger guys or ladyboys. Yet, look at the crowd. It is a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, ages, etc. Each one has their own likes and preferences. Good bars should have something for everyone. But, I would never presume that my type is other people's desired type. If that were the case, Thailand gogo bars would be filled with only tattooed bad boys.

I thought my response did address the special exemption for those traveling to the country for their pilgrimage. But, Thailand is the sex capital of the world. If you subtract those that partake in at least one happy ending on the trip, how many tourists are left? (Dang, is that only the Chinese?) Saudi does not need tourist money but it will start to need them and thus why the shift is happening. It will come. I don't think they screw over visitors because of that. I just think it is an old, antiquated system that does not work well and they have not figured out how to do this properly yet.

True Detective - Season 3
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Theater, Movies, Art and Literature
I will say that the performances of both main characters are truly fantastic to watch. As they go back and forth in time, I love seeing the older male versions and their story that is interwoven through history. Well written show with amazing acting and great story. -
True Detective - Season 3

Give it a try. I love these guys take on the show each week. https://www.gamespot.com/videos/true-detective-season-3-episode-5-breakdown-if-you/2300-6448155/ -
Old grey-headed men trying to buy love also seem to be everywhere as well. Perhaps the ladyboys are in the middle trying to keep those two groups at bay?

I am normally in the area and order a bunch of bagels and freeze them (not ideal). But, they also have a delivery service that will bring to your place. If anyone knows other bagel places in BKK, please let me know.
-
This place is amazing. I now eat there about 2-3 times per month and am never disappointed. I order delivery at least that many times each month.

Agree and disagree. Saudia Arabia is one of the top 20 most visited countries in the world. They don't discourage visitors but they don't allow tourists (slight difference). Those that do pilgrimages are a part of the plan for the country and without them, the country would lose relevance. I agree with the need for efficient and rapid immigration. I have always spent longer in wait getting into the USA than Thailand. Tourism is important for both places.
-
Wow. Thank you for the information. I felt the same in Jordan as I always found sex there easy as not so many openly white guys. Please share some pics when you get time.
-
What makes news here is often the norm in other places. Flying into Saudi Arabia it was often 3-8 hours of wait time. And, getting out could be the same. I missed 2 stampedes inside the airport immigration area by less than minutes both times. Thailand is stable and normally reliable with their immigration. I love coming in as I have always been welcomed with a smile and a welcome to Thailand message. Six hours would suck though.

I think it is often the luck of the draw. And, I usually arrive early morning, like 1 or 2 AM. Many of the lanes are then closed and they have fewer options at that time in both regular lanes and priority lanes. I have also been there when all the Priority Lanes were down to one guy working and thus the lanes took longer than friends in the other ones.
-
You are right. And, thus Global Warming is impossible.
-
I find using the Priority Lanes quick leaving LOS but much slower entering. However, sometimes coming in they are better but I also found checking the regular lanes first a good idea.
-
Yep. I like solidarity and I like sex. Bring the two together and it is a good night for me.

Totally agree with you. My only point is that WE choose to stay in Thailand and interact with Thais. Thus, the burden is on us and not them. It is irrelevant that English is beneficial in business environments. The last GoGo bar I visited, the boy I liked didn't say, "hey, what do you think of the world economy under fascists like Trump?" My point is I love Thailand. I love the Thai people. I do not and will never expect them to learn English. I have never had any problem in any country with language barriers as people see I try. I may sound stupid but I try and that is respectful. But, I have never said, "why the fuck can't these people speak English" just because they own a restaurant or a bar or deal with foreigners.
-
Don't tell me you are one of those people that believe in global warming. In the USA right now, there is a massive snow storm. It is very cold. Global warming can't exist as when Trump looks out his window he sees snow.
-
The truth is that business currently is the langage that most speak for business matters. However, that is changing and Chinese will become that language in the future. We a native English speaker, I am happy I can be understood most places I go but I never get upset when I can't be understood. And, people who travel and EXPECT others to speak English are fools.

My research days are done. However, if I find a source that requires that a poster citing another reliable (NOT Fake News) source to find the source of the original article's source, then I can source that back to you and we will share the resources together. jk Like everything else, most new articles are not fully cited like research articles. I remember my days back in law school where everything had to be sourced correctly or you completely failed a class. However, I know you are not from the USA and may not know that the new standard is to just keep repeating things and they become fact. So, Bangkok is now one of the 10 most polluted cities on earth ever. I am not stating this as fact, but I heard it, and people were saying, so it must be true. Sorry. There I go again. IMHO, Bangkok is getting more polluted each year. I feel it. I see it. And, the last week confirmed that there is a big problem here. It was not that way on my first visit. Does that mean I'll move? No. It just means I adjust things accordingly. Like Scooby, I know the solutions exist but I also know we are not moving fast enough in that direction.

Did you read the NYTimes article I linked? (paragraph 7) I also read in the Bangkok Post about the Sathorn area being really bad. Also, I have had 5 friends sick from this in the last week. True, not proof but adding it all up only makes sense to me. I know other places are also going to get worse. But, IMHO, Bangkok, and Thailand need more regulation to control this. I drive and I see too many trucks blowing out black fumes every time I drive. It has an effect.
