  1. A friend once owned an escort service in NYC and those "special" guys who were always booked got booked way in advance by many. For those, a deposit was required and this was in the 1990s. There are always exceptions to the rules. But, from a business and masseur point of view, I like the concept. However, when it did not work out and the "special" guy canceled, then the service returned the free and a huge discount to see someone else and ate that cost as well.

  3. Well, I don't think you were wrong. I read your statement as saying why judge him until we know more facts. I always agree with this approach. Innocent until proven guilty. I am not at the guilty stage yet. And, I hope it does not go there. But, it might. I'd be quite disappointed. But, I was disappointed in Bill Cosby and believed him up until a certain point.
  4. This movie is amazing and full of beautiful depth and character. I loved Glenn Close and Jonathon Price. Great acting and so powerful in their performances.
  5. Who in their right mind pulls out right before? Insanity IMHO. Yes, NY blew it IMHO. Having said that, I am happy for LIC as I still have a place in Astoria and was not looking forward to this happening for selfish reasons.
  6. They didn't give great detail in the CNN report I just read. But, if he made it up, very disappointed for him and our community. For fuck's sake.
  7. Yes, I believe him. I hope he is OK. He is a good actor, a good singer and deserves our belief in him. I would not turn over my phone to cops either. I do not fault him for that.
  8. Always amazed at how many malls can be built in one city. Yet, the onslaught continues and they keep building them.
  9. To me, that sounds like a friggin awesome night! It is hard to find anywhere in the world where 5 fun places like this exist within a few feet of each other. I am not looking forward to this changing but I still find the amount of places impressive.
  10. I like Michelle Obama and I like Dolly Parton. Give me those two and I'm good to go. I thought the shows were nice and the songs were fun. I didn't care who won but I thought fun to watch.
  11. Competition? In LOS? Really? How would the wealthy survive?
  12. For me, I loved Sunee for the people watching. The streets were always busy and robust and full of fun. Is that gone too?
  13. I have seen this dissed on the news but I thought it was a good show. Anyone else enjoy it?
  14. Old men. Younger guys. Lots of Booze. Lots of flirting. Police raids. Ladyboys screaming. Haven't been there in a while, but am I close?
  15. I know there are a few in Bangkok but not for foreigners as much. I was told the ones in NYC are still open but have not been in 15 years. I never liked them as my body was not the one that was sought after unless I had some treats which I abhor.
  16. The question is, was there at least one cute twink for Oz? How are the rooms?
  17. Great summary of episode 6 in this link. Damn, this show is just amazing acting by both lead characters. It is a true lesson in Master Acting. https://www.indiewire.com/2019/02/true-detective-review-season-3-episode-6-hunters-in-the-dark-spoilers-1202042855/
  18. Thank you so much for your positivity!
  19. I get it. But, photo on left if not the main site which is what is sending messages. A solution, take that photo, upload it to My Account when you log in and you are done. If that takes longer than 30 seconds, I'll be shocked.
  20. Found a good list on DU and added most areas here. Please keep making suggestions and adding to this here as well.
  21. Agree with both and will add any categories others wish. So, suggest a category and give me a link or two and I'll add. The more comprehensive the better. I already added the Bay Area Reporter.
  22. Glad you are here. I also guess we all have different ideas of junk. Emails from the "system" to remind someone to upload a photo, or to log in every 30 days to stay active are a part of many sites. The way around this is a few simple clicks in Gmail or other providers. To me, if someone isn't willing to spend 30 seconds doing that, they will be of little benefit here anyway and most likely not active posters. It is a double edge sword. Complaints about profiles being outdated but when we try to clean them up, complaints that emails are sent. Hard to balance everything. We do try our best. However, easy solutions are found with a few clicks of a button.

  24. Disney Channel’s “Andi Mack” will air a historic episode for the channel which includes a character on its tween show “Andi Mack” saying the words, “I’m gay.” Cyrus Goodman, played by Joshua Rush, comes out to one of his best friends Jonah Beck (Asher Angel) in the episode “One in a Minyan.” When Cyrus’ grandmother dies he invites his friends to attend her shiva. Cyrus begins explaining to Jonah all of the food that’s been brought before making his announcement. “I’m gay,” Cyrus tells Jonah. Jonah responds with a smile, “Yeah? OK, cool.” This is the first time a character has spoken the words “I’m gay” on the Disney Channel. https://www.washingtonblade.com/2019/02/08/andi-mack-makes-disney-channel-history-with-first-character-to-say-im-gay/
  25. Then, sorry, I can't give you more info on them. However, what you should do is create an email rule where anything that comes to you from @gayguides.com is marked as read and deleted. This way Gmail handles all emails and removes them and they are not visible to anyone.
