  1. I really like Good Girls. It is on Netflix but only the first 2 season.
  2. It is hard being stuck all alone during lock-down. But, there are some items that make things more comfortable. For you what are they? For me, my Nespresso machine has been a godsend. I use it at least 5 times each day and love the flavor of the coffee. I also use my Instapot a lot. I like cooking frozen chicken with a bit of broth and spices to make pulled chicken sandwiches. Naturally, the Internet has been amazing and I can't imagine what it would be like with no Internet.
  3. Has anyone watched Unorthodox?
  4. Did it for you. Just finished the season and loved it. A bit overboard at times but fun to watch!
  5. First, I am a big Ryan Murphy fan. I enjoy everything he does (almost). I do like American Horror (depending on the season) and I loved Glee and the Politician. In Hollywood, Murphy is Murphy. He tells a story. It is a beautiful story of what Hollywood could have been in an alternate universe. What I think I got the most out of it was the what ifs? What if someone had starting casting gay characters so many years ago? What if it was easier to be gay in my youth because Hollywood showed it. I do think that Hollywood (the complex) can change the world. Part of acceptance of gays is because of the acceptance by Hollywood in recent years. Look at Ellen. Who doesn't love her? (well, I hear a few but not many). I love the hustling aspect of the movie and thought there were a lot of avenues that we on boytoy can explore. Straight men servicing gay men. The casting couch. etc. I have always love Darren Cris and thought he did a great job. But, for me Pattie LuPone was brilliant. I love her character and have always loved her acting. Murphy stays true and brings in those actors he loves and likes to work with. I like that as well. The story was a bit overboard at times but I like extravagance and happy endings. There were lots of happy endings in this (boytoy style too) but what I liked was seeing the change in characters as time progressed. It is only like 8 episode and an easy watch but very enjoyable! Hats off to Murphy but loved seeing the cast of hotties as well!
  6. I know your desire, but disagree. It is easier for me to have different threads on different movies, shows, etc. I have contributed here on this thread and will continue to do so. I'll also continue adding new threads as I see fit when I like something and want to share.
  7. Just back for another season. Episode 1 was good. Looking forward to seeing where this season goes!
  8. Years back, Thai Airways had a non-stop from NYC and LAX to BKK. They were always full. They cancelled both. They said they could not make money as they could not hold as much cargo. I think many planes started to rely on cargo to make money and not passengers. To me, I'd have paid more money for the direct flight. But, it is gone now. For shipping, I like Amazon as you prepay the tariffs and there is never any issue getting into the country and Amazon takes care of all import issues and no extra expense. When I ship DHL or US Postal I have had issues at having to go and pick the items up or paying more or never getting them.
  9. I order 50 or so packages a year to be delivered in Thailand. Mostly books and smaller items. But, since CoVid19, nothing. They will not even ship books to Thailand. I do wonder who long this will last? Likewise, I-Herb is not shipping to Thailand now as they did before. Once these shipping routes open up again, I'll be thrilled to once again use them as my cart in both is getting too full!
  10. Beautiful video from beginning to end.Thank you. It brought back so many memories. I lived one block from Broadway for most of my young adult life and got to see more plays and musicals than one can count. My old building was filled with Broadway stars of years gone by (rent-stabilized). I had the pleasure of knowing a few of the performers in this video and it was so enjoyable to watch. I was lucky enough to go to the Tony Awards a few times and sat in the first 2 rows. Seeing this video just brings back so many memories from a young man. Thank you.
  11. I would not rely on the price of oil staying low or consistent. I do think travel will bounce back and the industry will recover. In the USA, the airlines are getting lots of money, I don't agree with that. But, I do think they have to shift their operations for the near future.
  12. Smart marketing. It has got us all talking at least.
  13. A good step. I thought the ban was to keep people from partying. Successful or not, letting people drink in their homes is good during these troubling times. I don't drink and I think I want some wine.
  14. Honestly, I am shocked! And, I've been around a lot. That is some crazy shit.
  15. I loved the last season. I loved the last episode. I thought it was a great end to the story. Actually, I watched the last 10 minutes at least 6 times. Brilliant! Sure, others will disagree, but I thought it was the perfect wrap up.
  16. The Series Finale just showed. It was great this season and worth watching. The ending was perfection! Great show every single season!
  17. Season 3 is now out. I enjoyed the first two season. It is on Starz.
  18. I liked him as well. Sexy man. Jer, the songs were fun!
  19. This is just simply one of the best shows on Netflix. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found the characters fun and interesting and so enjoyable to watch! I also like the main actors which is a plus and the love stories that develop.
  20. I got into this Netflix show called Heartland. It is LONG and MANY seasons. But, fun and enjoyable and requires no thinking at all. Plus, I love the scenery and the horses.
  21. What sports can you watch now? I am being serious. I didn't think anything was still going on.
  22. Being born in Alabama and growing up in the South, I was a registered Republican for many years. Most of my family still is. Things changed over time and they went from the party that was trying to be fiscally conservative to the part of hate. I don't understand how anyone who is gay or a minority can be a modern Republican. But, I'll never get it. I do want believe that the support for Trump is cult like mentality. They are nuts for this guy. And, I mean that literally. I don't think anyone sane and in their right mind can see this man and support him. He is vile and disgusting. Now, my family is most still Republican. But, you know who all of them voted for 12 years ago? Obama. They loved him. It blew my mind but everyone of the women in the family went out and voted for him. They saw hope. In Trump they see fear. Both are very powerful emotions.
  23. He is pandering to his base. The right wingers do not have any place in their society for gays and lesbians. Trump will also give them little bits of love in the form of hate as that is what they love most.
  24. Thank you for admitting that Mrs. Obama is so much more qualified than Trump was (or is).
