  1. I sent you an email.
  2. And, it is now here. There will be kinks. There always are! But, let me know if any issues you are facing.
  3. I have added some profile fields for members in the forum who wish to add information there. If you look at my profile on the left side, you will see those new fields added. You can change yours by clicking your name and then profile and then edit profile. No question is required. It is option if you are interested. https://www.gayguides.com/forums/profile/3-michael/?tab=activity
  4. There were Phuket Hotels from Marriott that were 2000 baht per night with free breakfast and dinner and 1000 credit daily. Amazing deals in past month. I stay only at chain hotels if it is in the city I am visiting. I like my points and tend to stay at IHG or Marriott hotels only. I tried years back to stay at Cafe Royale and it was too loud and too much for me. Krazy and Kaos were nightly visits for me. I loved both of them. Amazing memories from them.
  5. It is disgusting and horrible. America is now a true disgrace when it comes to democracy and free elections. For years, American sent observers to other countries to ensure fair elections as that was our hallmark. However, now, other countries want to send observers to America. My, on my, how the tides have turned.
  6. Day 2: The next morning we ate at La Baguette. https://www.labaguettepattaya.com/ I love this place. I had a crepe and Jupiter Boy had a bacon and spinach quiche. Both were amazing. This place is now a go to stop every time I go to Pattaya. The Birthday Boy joined us for the meal. My stay was pretty much only to see a friend and wish him Happy Birthday and to spend time with Jupiter Boy to see if we could travel well together. I got my answer and it was an affirmative. (except he does not like me looking at other boys). He was a very easy travel companion and I really enjoyed getting to know him more. We spent the afternoon at the hotel. The Renaissance is beautiful. It has multiple swimming pools. One was full of kids and families and the other one no one was there. The beach scene and the views are simply beautiful. We had a pizza for dinner and it was excellent. Pattaya has changed so much since I stayed here years ago. The apps were busy and I found a few I liked. I did not get to Boyztown this trip. Still, memories of Nice Boys danced in my head. I was happy to see the boys at Nice Boys were still nice and smiling and hard! Old faces from the manasans from my first visit to Thailand nearly 20 years ago were and too many memories of the old Kaos and Krazy Dragon in Sunee. Tomorrow, Jupiter Boy and I will head out but we have one stop to make on the way to Bangkok. Jupiter Boy is having a beer on the balcony overlooking the ocean, listening to movies on his computer. I did ask him if he wanted to go out tonight, and he said no, he just wanted to relax. So relax we did. Well, except for a bit of fun in the sun and under the blankets. I'm growing too attached to him for sure.
  7. BTW: the rate for the Renaissance was around 2,200 baht. The cost of one room service was 1200 baht. LOL Imagine that. But, the hotel was filled with holiday travelers. Thais and expats that live here are swooping up the great deals for hotels. For example, I have had friends in 5 cities that said their hotels were not only not empty but breakfast buffet was busy every day. I think all the people in Bangkok are driving to those cities close by as the Intercontinental was filled for a few days I looked last week. I think the tourism industry (if you are talking hotels) are going to be fine for a while. They are encouraging people that live here to travel and making it worth their while. I have friends in Phuket that got 5 star hotels for 2,000 baht and having a blast.
  8. Day 1: First, I like Pattaya. But, I like Bangkok more. However, I have great friends in Pattaya that I adore. Jupiter Boy and I decided to go to Pattaya for a few days to spend time with my dear friend to celebrate his birthday. I've met so few guys in my travels that I truly adore but he is one of the ones at the top of my list. And, I wanted to say HBD to him in person. Jupiter Boy was excited at the idea of a vacation outside of Bangkok. We left early thinking we would take the Motorway the entire way but noticed the hood flapping so I exited and shut it. (I had pressed the wrong button when getting gas. No big issue but at 110 kph, I didn't want a problem.) The problem was no way back on the motorway for 20 km. Finally, back on, we headed to Pattaya. I was saying at the new Renaissance Resort in Jomtien. Or, so I thought. It is a hotel for sure but not where I thought. I should have checked the maps closer. I thought it was in Buddha Hill area. But, it was 15km from Pattaya. We checked in and it was a lovely hotel with good service, great buffet breakfast, good room service, beautiful pool, etc. But, to get a Grab to Pattaya is 460 baht. Ouch. I can go anywhere in Bangkok for that rate. It was insane. We took a Grab that night as I was tired and then I drove the rest of the time. The hotel is great for a vacation and relaxation. It is NOT for anyone who wishes the nightlife of Pattaya and it was filled with families. I went to Enjoy Andres the first night and had some good food. I enjoyed the steak and the spinach and cheese. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g1226133-d3625975-Reviews-Enjoy_Andre-Bang_Lamung_Chonburi_Province.html I went to Nice Boys in Sunee Plaza and had a blast. I sat there with my two friends and we were the only 3 there. We both tipped the boys and had a great deal of fun. There were handsome guys there and all jerking off on stage. Defiantly, all man, and tough looking. In fact, Jupiter Boy said, "these look like bad boys" and I excitedly said, "YES." Jupiter Boy was not impressed with the boys or the bar but I really enjoyed it. The highlight of it for me (other than the tips for seeing the boys jack off) was a picture of a good friend Charlie in the center of the stage. It was such a wonderful tribute to someone who loved the bar and the boys there so much. It was moving to see they still paid tribute to him.
  9. It should. The forums are not changing at all. However, I'd always suggest bookmarking the main site: gayguides.com or gayguides.com/forums/
  10. Moving to the new site on Friday. Be sure you have all the information from the front part of the site you want saved to your personal accounts.
  11. You won't need to use that log in information you all are trying to use. That is not the system. If you go to the bottom of that homepage, you will see a little blue button called Forum. You click it and are logged into the site for reviews. No need to create any new logins, etc. as all is part of the forum.
  12. I don't know bigjoey but assume he is a conservative right winger. As for me, I'm a proud liberal. But, I'm always willing to give the President his or her picks based on the election. However, in this case, I do feel unfair after what the Senate did to Obama's last pick. I would have taken it like a man if that had not been the case. However, I will say this, if Biden wins and the Senate flips, if Biden does not stack the court with 4 additional Supremes, I'll never vote for a democrat again. I'm tired of pussy footing around Republicans. They have no desire to work together and have proven this. But, the Dems never get that and if things are not rammed through (if the above scenario takes place, which I am hopeful), I'm done with them.
  13. I'll be putting it on but anyone can add a venue. And, if something is there that is closed, all a visitor has to do is report it and it is checked out and if accurate, it is removed. We used this listing software just for this reason.
  14. We are moving beyond the dual login program with a front end and back end site. It will be single login but no profiles on front end. The log in for the forum will be the "master" log in and you can log in to review businesses, etc. It is a slow moving machine. But, here is a taste of what was once Gay Thailand and now Gay Guides. The link is to the gay Bangkok city but click the top to see other areas. https://www.gayguides.com/wp/gay-bangkok-gay-thailand/

    Sandals

I am a true believer in Birkenstocks. I have 10 or more pair. I love them and wear them daily. They are comfortable and relaxing. I even wear Birkenstock inserts in some other shoes. For the beach, I like Teva.
  16. I was asked to share the videos via PM. I don't know how. They shared them on their LINE account from TikTok. You can join their LINE and see the videos. I really enjoyed seeing them.
  17. I drive so I wouldn't rely on their transportation. I have been to Chiang Mai 100 times and love it. But, I'd be going more to stay at this place than to visit Chiang Mai a lot.
  18. He was definitely there. I should have said he was all over except on bottom. Actually, he is a good sleep buddy. He is quiet, and cuddly, and doesn't snore.
  19. OK. So, I went today as they put out videos from TikTok and this lad captured my attention. The place is easy to find but there are other gay massage places in the area. It was quick on highway in Grab. The lobby is small and they show you the guys on the phone. I called ahead as I only wanted one. He was waiting for me when I arrived. The manager spoke good English and we had a nice conversation. The closest BTW is Saphan Kwai. They use to have a lot of beer bars in that area I liked but have not been in 20 years. The room was OK. It was on the floor. The bathroom was fine but 3 flights up stairs. Cost for massage is 500 baht and minimum tip for boy is 500 baht. Both are for 1.5 hours. I chose a top and he was a true top but a great massage and nice lad and fulfilled my TikTok fantasy! I loved his tats!
  20. He is with me for a while. Or, so I like to assume!
  21. All over. But, he started on the left.
  22. I am sure that is why Covid started to drop suddenly in the USA this summer. They had fewer cases when it started getting warmer, just like Trump said. Right? No, that didn't happen!
  23. Anyone stay here before? Recommend it? They are reopening in November and I was thinking of spending Xmas here. http://www.chiangmaitreehouse.com/
  24. It has been six months since I last saw a movie in a movie theater. If you read between the lines in a few of walk around gay Bangkok stories, the Jupiter boy and I are having a bit of fun together (or I am having fun with him at least). We decided to venture to the movie as neither of us have seen anything since Covid. We went to Central Bangna and were checked for temps at the door and had to scan in. The mall was pretty busy and parking we had to go to the top floor. The movie itself was not busy and pretty vacant. They do have a vacant seat between every 2 seats to space people out properly. But, not that many were there. It felt nice to be in gay Thailand and out "on the town" and seeing a movie and having dinner. The sad thing was that my favorite dim sum place is now completely closed. They didn't make it during Covid as the malls were dead for a while and this was one of the best dim sum places in Bangkok. They still have one at Central World but I get there rarely. I write this as Jupiter boys sleeps in my bed for the third night in a row. I think he might believe it is now his bed as he told me last night he wakes up with a hard on if he sleeps on the left side of the bed. I think something might be lost in translation but who cares?
