Thanks. I had them add the words spouse/partner in that section and they said no problem. I feel better about the lease now. Years back I wanted to rent a condo in Center Condo but the owner said my Thai BF could not be there alone without me. LOL It was insane as the BF made more than the apartment was worth and I quickly said adieus. The apartment in question is 60,000 baht per month and 2 months security. I can't image damage at 120,000 for any reason unless someone is insane. Which, not that I think about it, I think I may be for paying that much in a renter's market. But, I found the one I loved and I wanted it!

I can help. I am now 50 so it does not apply for me. But, when it came out, I was going to buy it. I hated the visa runs and no matter how much money I spent in Thailand, I was limited in my stay. For me, when I was 34 just visiting here and knew I wanted to stay a lot here, it would have more than paid for itself in convenience. I can't count the number of bus visa runs I did back in the day!

I take reside meaning to be able to use all the facilities, etc. Those are not for guests but for residents that live in the condo only. It is a really nice new condo so I don't want issues as he is a dependent for sure. And, he will reside there with me.

Welcome. -
I am looking at a new rental lease and one clause states that only the tenant and their dependents can reside there. Anyone see issue with this with a Thai bf?

I got the same email and responded HELL YES! I want it. I'll be there day 1. But, not interested in the China one as of now. I hope it is one of the others.

You again did not point out what is incorrect in the article. It as written years ago and has a cc mark on it so others will not take it. 2014-2021. It is a general informational article. If I were to go there today, the article is still relevant for people who have not visited.

What is incorrect about the article?

Sure. Issues with the merger software. Programmers have been working for weeks on trying to get it to work without issues. It will happen as soon as the company (Invision) solves their software issues.

I have been there and it was closed when I was there on five separate occassions. The owner of Prince took it over but the quality was never the same. They did a great job on the remodeling but it just never quiet took off like the old Hero did.

Gentlemen, let me help. The bar is now open but before that, the plan started as a brainchild of work with some local gays talking on the telephone. Back then, there was no cell phone. So, the initial planning started with land lines. They were having a few drinks during the calls and thus, the famous bar started. Luckily, they didn't start talking much later as it could have been called the Cellular Lounge or the iLounge.

This week the massage places are packed. They were closed for a bit and the boys are itching to get back to work. There were over 30 at KK Massage this weekend. The other ones were busy as well. Lots of fun for low prices!

Cooking with a Pressure Cooker
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Health, Nutrition and Fitness
I believe in the Zombie Apocalypse. Or, Covid19 or something. Like a good Southern boy, I stock up on food when I think there is going to be a snowstorm. Last year I bought more frozen chicken than I can to discuss. I have been slowly using it in my Instapot. This week, I put the chick in the Instapot for 15 min with water and a bag of soup mix and do the pressure cooker setting. I then use it to make fried rice with chicken with some eggs and veggies. Yummy! And, it last for 2 days. Slowly, all my chicken is disappearing from the freezer and going to good use. -
Renting. I have never seen buying in Thailand worth it.

You have a link for those?

Easy. He was not following our agreement. He did not believe all the things I told him and vice versa. When he got back out into the world, he realized he had it made. He has the opportunity of a lifetime if he is good. I can assure you that I am also very good to him. He needed a bit of a distance to see that. I had asked him to go. But, we contacted each other daily and then he finally said the magic words. Been with me ever since. (no, the magic words were not open sesame)

Covid has opened up some sweet deals on amazing new condos. I'm getting a new one. But, I need a local moving company to pack up everything and move locally. Any suggestions?

So, a bit of an update. Jupiter Boy left, Pattaya Boy came, I missed Jupiter Boy and he missed me. He returned less than 10 days later and has been with me ever since. He is a lovely lad who I enjoy spending time with. His English has shown remarkable improvement. He has also made himself at home faster than any of my ex's. He came into the room yesterday with a sticker for his motorcycle to park in the condo area. He has been parking there for months but wanted it official. The front desk did not even ask me to sign for it (odd). But, it was OK with me. Now, they call him for anything I need to do or packages I need to pick up. I wonder if they think he is my boss just because I do whatever he says?

Pattaya: RIP?...is this article accurate...or not?

I think that is true for most places that rely on "entertainment." In Bangkok, only HotMale beer bar is going on and having seen 2 guys from there this week, they both said it was dismal and no customers. Walking through that area last week, it was like a ghost town. It will return. I don't think all the owners can survive all the months (or years) with no business, but I also know when one closes, another one will pop up if there is a demand. For example, the apps are very busy as are the massage places in Bangkok. I was in Sunnee Plaza a few months back and it was dead quiet. But, Nice Boys was lovely! I had a great time. -
Glad you are going to give them another try. I ate at my favorite restaurant this week for the 200th time. The lava cake was bad. I think it had curled milk or something and if the other times were not good, I would not have returned. But, I never order their fish there either as they just don't do it well. It is never good to have a bad first experience. Good luck with the steak. I like the Pork Loin, Grass fed burgers, and chicken salad.

I liked her in this. But, wish she played a bigger role. She was good IMHO. But, the story was the main characters and told brilliantly. -
Yes, I'll not do the Sinovac. But, they believe that the vaccines will start to roll into private hospitals here soon (for a nice price). I'm willing to pay. But, the gov't did not do a good job at ordering these in advance and thus the long wait. That said, under 80 deaths in the country and they did a good job at controlling things until Jan. Now, a bit of a scare but still, I feel quiet safe here.

Very jealous here. We are told we may not get them in Thailand until May! However, happy you guys got them. Anyone want to get an extra dose for me?
