Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Chonburi province posted on its Facebook page that it was closing down permanently from Friday, 24 years since it opened. The management will hold a meeting with employees next Monday to explain the reasons for going out of business as well as discuss other issues, said Wasan Temsiriphong, the zoo’s managing director. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40000443 I spent many a day here with boys from Pattaya. Some really good memories and one case of the worst food poisoning I have ever had (thanks to trying, crocodile food, tarantula, and some delicacies I never heard of). Here are a few photos from over the 20 years.

This is one of the best saunas in Brazil. Always filled with sexy guys and fun action. It has been there for at least 20 years and seems to be very consistent. Here are a few threads previously. https://www.gayguides.com/listing/sauna-point-202/

This is one of my favorite hotels. I have stayed there dozens of times and never had a problem bringing someone to my room. However, I do book for 2 and do not mind registering someone if needed. The rooms are small but the staff is excellent. https://www.gayguides.com/listing/jw-marriott-hotel/

Located in Santa Teresa’s bohemian artist district yet central to all of Rio’s attraction and nightlife “ the drop-dead-sexiest neighborhood in Rio”. Casa Cool Beans is a relaxed but organized, comfortable but not pretentious beautiful hotel run by good staff with reasonable prices. https://www.gayguides.com/listing/casa-cool-beans/

The Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Ipanema is a luxury hotel directly overlooking Ipanema Beach. It is the center of gay life in Rio and is a beautiful hotel to stay at in Rio. The rates are a bit high, but well worth it for luxury. https://www.gayguides.com/listing/sofitel-rio-de-janeiro-ipanema/

Favorite Gay Friendly Restaurants in Gay Rio DeJanerio
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Rio De Janeiro Gay and Gay Friendly Restaurants - Did I miss anything? 1 Zazá Bistrô Tropical | R. Joana Angélica, 40 | 21 2247-9101 | http://www.zazabistro.com.br Quirky, colorful, and just a touch fabulous, Zazá should always be on your list when hunger strikes. They emphasize organic ingredients, and their menu is carefully cureated with lovingly prepared dishes. 2 Felice Caffè | Rua Gomes Carneiro, 30 | (21) 2522-7749 | http://felice.com.br/ A gay-heavy mixed crowd comes here for the good food – but they stay for the drinks, and it could be perhaps the sceniest ice cream parlor in the Western Hemisphere. You could easily see yourself hitting this up more than once a day. 3 Confiteria Colombo | Rua Gonalves Dias 32 | (21) 2505-1500 | http://www.confeitariacolombo.com.br/ There is a lot of history to this place, evidenced in its Belle Epoque interior that has been lovingly preserved. The cuisine is mixed, and served buffet style, so come hungry! If you're not starving, then have a seat at the snack bar for a little bit of this or that. 4 Bazzar | R. Barao da Torre, 538 | (32) 0228-84 | http://www.bazzar.com.br/ Fresh food served in a quiet atmosphere with some home-cooked loving thrown in for good measure. Ask about sauces and mustards to take home as gifts – or to have later when you want to remember your days in Rio! -
Favorite Clubs and Discos in Gay Rio DeJanerio
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
How is this? Did I miss anything? Rio De Janeiro Gay and Gay Friendly Clubs/Discos 1. Buraco da Lacraia | Rua Andre Cavalcanti, 58 | 21 2242-0446 | http://buracodalacraia.com/portal/ (doesn't work) There's a huge local crowd here of young hotties who come for the karaoke and drag shows, and stay for the dark room cruising action in this down-home club that has none of the pretension of the more chichi clubs, but all of the fun. Show up ready for anything, because anything goes here. 2 La Cueva | Rua Miguel Lemos, 51 | (21) 2267-1364 | http://www.boatelacueva.com.br/ Tired of the smooth Brazilian bodies everywhere? Then get your woof on at this cave-themed bear bar that skews a bit mature, but has plenty of young admirers milling about. Friday is the best night for action, and your entrance fee includes two drink tickets. Woof! 3 Papa G | Travessa Almerinda Freitas 42 | https://www.instagram.com/boatepapag/?hl=en It's worth the bit of a trek to get to Papa G to check out their packed schedule of entertainment and fun, with each night featuring a drag show, a live performance, and a different DJ. Check their schedule for theme nights, and splurge (relatively) on a VIP experience, which is all-you-can-drink. -
Rio De Janeiro Gay and Gay Friendly Bars How does this look? Did I miss any good ones? 1 Galeria Cafe | Rua Teixeira de Mello, 31 | 21 2523-8250 | https://www.galeriacafe.com.br/home What the Galeria lacks in size it more than makes up for in its expertly made drinks, gorgeous crowd of men, and fun theme nights. Head downstairs to see the boys get their groove on, or stay upstairs for a lounge atmosphere. 2.Maxim's | Avenida Atlântica, 1850 | (21) 2255-7444 | http://restaurantebarmaxims.com.br/ Maxim's has a great staff that keeps the fun going, and a trans crowd that knows how to party. Show up later in the evening for the shows and antics. RESTAURANTE E BAR MAXIM'S Av. Atlântica 1850 lj A | Copacabana | 2021-001 (21) 2255-7444 | 2235-4231 gerencia@restaurantebarmaxims.com.br 3 00 | Avenida Padre Leonel Franca, 240 | (55) 2125-4080 | http://www.00site.com.br/ This bar, pronounced "Zero Zero," has a little bit of everything – a restaurant area, a lounge bar, and a club space where things can get Rio-level fun. There's also an outdoor area for quieter chats. It can be a bit snobby-bitchy, but it's worth it to be so close to so many beautiful young things. 4 Turma OK | Rua do Rezende, 43 | (21) 2507-4622 | http://www.turmaok.com.br/ Any gay bar that has been around for more than 50 years is "OK" in our book. Go to Turma OK for some of the best drag in Brazil, including some big names – as well as drag pagaents, and the hilariously named "Mr. OK" contests for older clientele.

Rio De Janeiro Gay and Gay Friendly Hotels How does this look? Did I miss any good ones? 1 Casa Cool Beans | Rua Laurinda Santos Lobo, 136 | (21) 2262-0552 | http://www.casacoolbeans.com/ Casa Cool Beans is a 10-room gay B&B in the hip, fun Santa Teresa neighborhood and is our top pick for accommodations in Rio. This brightly colored, beautifully decorated hotel has personalized service, a pool and sun deck that's quite the scene, free wifi, and decent food as well. 2 Sol Ipanema Hotel | Av. Vieira Souto, 320 | (55) 2125-2520 | https://www.solipanema.com.br/ You can never go wrong with the Sol Ipanema, and this one is no exception. The rooftop pool and terrace (with a full bar) is a stunner, and they have 24-hour room service, free wifi and all the amenities you expect from this chain. 3 Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Copacabana | 4240 Copacabana | https://all.accor.com/hotel/8941/index.en.shtml Yes, this Sofitel is on THAT Copacabana beach. And it being a Sofitel, you can expect outstanding service, gorgeous rooms, and an on-site spa that will recharge your batteries for another day (and night) of fun. The hotel has a private beach club area if you're not into the chaotic scene of the public beach, or spend the day at their dead-sexy pool and deck. 4. Atlantico Copacabana Hotel | Rua Siqueira Campos, 90 | Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro | 55 21- 2548-0011 https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g303506-d307969-Reviews-Atlantico_Copacabana_Hotel-Rio_de_Janeiro_State_of_Rio_de_Janeiro.html The Atlantico Hotel is one of the mainstays of many on this site. It was very popular a few years back because of its close proximity to Point 202. It is within walking distance of the sauna. It is also an easy walk to the beach at Copacabana. There are many nice restaurants in the area and a subway station is 1 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are a bit old and outdated and they dont seem to spend money on renovations or remodeling but if you are looking for a place right next door to Point 202, this is the place to stay. 5. JW Marriott | Avenida Atlantica, 2600, | Copacabana · Rio de Janeiro | 55-21-2545-6500 | http://www.marriott....rio-de-janeiro/ The Marriott is located directly on Copacabana Beach. It is a 5-star hotel with full staff, a rooftop pool and full service spa. The hotel is kept up to JW standards with great rooms and restaurants inside the hotel. The rooms are a bit on the small side but they are very well decorated and clean. This hotel gets high marks for service and luxury. 6. Hotel Arpoador - Rua Francisco Otaviano 177 Arpoador Rio de Janeiro RJ 22080-046 Brasil | https://hotelarpoador.com/ Literally on the beach and located at this idyllic junction between Ipanema and Copacabana, you will be able to enjoy the day at the beach until sunset, hang out at the local bars for an informal drink, and follow with a special dinner at some of Rio’s most delightful restaurants. All of this at a walking distance from the best of both worlds, where the city meets the sea.

14-day quarantine mandatory for all arrivals in Thailand from May
TotallyOz replied to reader's topic in Gay Thailand
Yep, that sucks! and, truly makes zero sense. -
Six friends have now tried it this week with not one being able to do it. I even tried for 2 of them on my computer to see if it was a computer issue. It was not. The system is messy and does not work properly.

Of course. Not only plans in my mind, but written down, and shared with attorneys, family, friends, etc. To be honest, most think I am morbid as I have conversations with others often about what needs to happen in the even of my early demise. For example, yesterday, I talked to my Thai ex who will get my car when I am dead. I told him I wanted to use it for one more year and wanted to put his name on the car now. He will go with me soon to put the car in his name so that when I die, there is no other discussion about the car from anyone. He also gets everything in my apartment in Thailand. My attorney knows this, he knows this, my family know this and to ensure it, I put him on the lease so that when I die, he has the legal right to take everything that belongs to me. Oh sorry, you may mean for this site. That too is very well thought out and planned including information to attorneys, family, friends, hosting company, etc.

I want to be sure that everyone knows that no matter temporary or permanent, all are welcome here. This site is totally free for everyone (and always will be) and we will be around for many years go come.

How Would You Rescue The Oscars Ceremony?
TotallyOz replied to PeterRS's topic in Theater, Movies, Art and Literature
I still enjoy it. But, this year, I didn't get as into it as I didn't like the movies or didn't get to see them all. On a normal year, I love it! -
What is busy? How about how many guys? Do they seem to be holding over well during Covid or has it crushed the scene there?
-
Multiple friends have now used this and it is working for them.

It is not my place to step up. The site's issues, if any, are easily solved in multiple ways if the moderators have access to the forum admin panel. The entire forum can be backed up and restored in a new location (with consent of the estate). They do not need me to help them with this. If they did, I am sure they would have reached out to me and I would have helped them. I will assume they are waiting for the estate to approve their plans. If Daddy left no will or plans, you must assume he meant it to be that way. I have met many members of that site. As someone who is truly interested in persevering the content of sites like this, I'd be happy to offer technical advice. However, I am not interested in getting involved in any estate issues, including the domain names. @Candymanif you wish to step up, feel free.

I have multiple Thai bank accounts. I need to send some funds to the USA to a friend. What is the best way to do this? Wire Transfer? Paypal? Other ways?

I agree that escorts do not need to be prosecuted. But, the same holds true for clients. I like the model in Brazil, I think I'm right on this. They say that transactions between individual are fine and that it is when a third party gets involved that the law is broken. I like the idea that two consenting adults can make their own decisions without fear from the government is important.

To this day, this one makes me smile. It was the first thing I remember that showed me what technology was capable of. I had it sent to me online in movie form and I watched it over and over. This thread brought back the memory and I found it online.

Good article here: https://www.wired.com/story/everything-apple-announced-april-2021/ I did like the new purple IPhone as I have always wanted a purple phone. @Latbear4blkI have a 27 inch and love it. I have been using one since Stef Lacoste convinced me to move to the Apple brand. I still love them! What you can do to make this even better is to put another screen beside the IMac and you have two monitors. HEAVEN!

I grew up to where boys hair had to be short and if not, the principal would cut it. No earrings, no painted nails, etc. It was very conservative. That is in the 1980's. I thought we had come a long way but I see we still have school that want to force students into gender rules. I hate that this is still an issue. IMHO, if a student wants to dress a certain way and their parent approves, the school does not need to get involved by creating rules to prohibit a family decision. I still dress very conservatively, but if I had a great body, I might pull out my boa from my NYC days and have a bit of fun. https://thegailygrind.com/2021/04/20/gay-teen-suspended-for-wearing-nail-polish-just-scored-a-major-victory-against-his-school/?fbclid=IwAR1GWuUBi3r2vp0e1sdG4IrOvJ9uvuQUGSBlVk8vZImMu8Vcp6NLq8Klvkk
