  1. I am in Bangkok. I do not personally see the need for masks. However, it is the law and it is the norm and I wear them everywhere. This is not my country and I owe respect to those that are Thai. My feelings are irrelevant. I have seen many eye rolls at foreigners who take off the masks. For those that wish to follow the norms in the USA, feel free and go to USA and do that. But, when in Thailand, respect their rules and norms.
  2. I am OK with the masks. It does not bother me in the least. I am OK with no masks. It does not bother me in the least. I do prefer a gogo boy be maskless when we shower. But, if I think cute enough (not sure you see with a mask), I'm OK with the mask. Sometimes things are better left to the imagination. But, I am happy to be at the end of this thing. I hope.
  3. I am disappointed that this is still an issue. It seems to me that the world has changed a great deal. But, it is hard to break the norms of the past. I wish we would just let people be people and their job is their job instead of what they do outside of their job. It makes no difference to me if someone does after work hours. Totally their business and nothing else. That said, I'd love to see more pics of Anderson Cooper. Big crush for years. Nice to see you KYTop!
  4. Gay Thailand is paradise! Beautiful. Truly.
  5. I heard about this movie and had to see it and am glad I did. I thought the whole movie was delightful. I did find the escort beautiful to look at and the dynamics between the two main characters were enjoyable. I think a total of three actors in the entire movie and most of it just two people in a hotel room and conversation. Both characters were developed really well.
  6. I truly enjoyed the movie. It was beautifully done. The actor who played Elvis was excellent. I did not get bored in the least. I didn't see as much of Priscilla as I hoped, but still enjoyed it. The stage scenes were excellent and the scenes from Graceland was so realistic and enjoyable. One of my favorite movies of 2022.
  7. Truly fantabulous reporting! Thank you.

  9. Daniel Radcliff will always be Harry Potter. Vivien Leigh will always be Scarlet O'Hara. Harrison Ford will always be Indiana Jones. Keep it going.....
  10. It is time to buckle up or be fined a lot of $$. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/national/40019733
  11. Partner Track is an American legal drama streaming television series developed by Georgia Lee, based on Helen Wan's 2013 novel The Partner Track. I enjoyed the 10 episodes and watched until the end. I like the season finale. I hope they do a 2nd season. I love the sex Bradley Gibson. He played in one of the Power movies and in the recent Fire Island. He is just so fucking sexy!
  12. I have watched the first two episodes and loved it. But, I am big Tolkien fan and have read all the books 10 times and seen all the movies at least 10 times. I just loved seeing this vision come to the screen (or my tv). I hope this pays off for Amazon! https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/lord-of-the-rings-ratings-rings-of-power-premiere-amazon-1235359350/ https://nypost.com/2022/08/31/the-rings-of-power-review-lord-of-the-rings-show-a-triumph/
  13. Well, mine are older. They were 20 back then. Now, they are 40. 20 years makes a huge difference in age.
  14. I do see things a bit different than GB. But, that does not mean he is wrong. It just means we see different. I gave my first Thai BF an ATM card from Paypal. He took out money each day. Yes, some days he want overboard and as karoke went on longer, the more he withdrew. It was good conversation and it stopped. For others, I have just used direct deposit to their account. I have maintained bank accounts in Thailand for 20 years and it is easy to transfer in and share. I have never regretted helping a lad that helped me and was kind to me. If I had the money, and he needed it, I'd send. I still do. But, I have slowed down. At one point many moons again I was taking care of 9 guys at one time. That was nuts. Now, only 2 in Thailand. I always share my contact with the guys and rarely do they abuse it. I know my style is not for all, but it works for me and GB's works for him.
  15. Please! Everyone loves flowers!
  16. It sounds like for your friend, the someone to love is his dogs. I know that is the case with some of my friends. Pets can really be family for some.
  17. I have a real love BF. It has been almost 19 years. He is great. He was not a money boy when I met him and he never asks for money. @floridarob(we won't talk about houses, cars, motorbikes, etc). I do think a flat fee would have been cheaper. But, do I believe he loves me. Yes. Does his mother agree with me? Yes. Does his son and daughters agree? Yes. Does his wife agree? Yes It is unanimous. And, I also adore him. He is now pushing 40. He has always said I was top priority in his life and he has put me so.
  18. no, not just that, but the constant violence of all of it. Churches, discos, streets, stages, etc. It is just overwhelming right now.
  19. It is sad. And, the reason the world thinks America is unsafe is because of events like this.
  20. I love Tailor on Ten.
  21. @JKane I agree with you. But, I enjoyed it. I found the story partially intriguing. I liked the last episode of the season but it was more than a bit slow to get me there. However, I continued to watch as I didn't see anything else more interesting.
  22. I can't do economy. I'm large and tall. What I have found is airlines that have business class for reasonable prices. For example, I have booked a few times on Hainan Airlines from Bangkok to Chicago and the business class fares were right at 2k USD. That was almost the same as the economy or premium economy on AA or Delta. I liked the airline and the service was fine. It was not as luxurious as Singapore or other airlines but the seat was fully lay back and comfortable.
  23. Fascinating and informative. Thank you. How is her trip playing with the regular Taiwanese people? Do they see this as a mistake or are they happy she is wanting to visit?
  24. I found this a while back and make it at least twice per month. For those in LOS, the stuffing can be found at Villa Market but around Thanksgiving, it is sold out. https://www.eatingonadime.com/crockpot-chicken-and-stuffing-recipe/
