  1. I do the same but the docs in the USA only give in doses of 20. Here I got 60. I was beyond happy. And, the boys said my sleep was sound (loud and noisy) but they watched TV and played on computer and I was oblivious to it all.
  2. I was only there for one night as I flew in late at night and the boys had to get to the city the next morning to meet me before we headed to the beach for 2 weeks. I have stayed in this hotel many times and always enjoyed it. The hotel was full and so they told me my regular room was unavaible so they upgraded me to the Royal Suite for free. I loved it. Huge TV. Amazing decor. Big room. The Executive Lounge was excellent and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. I loved the Xmas decorations there. I had a doctors appointment early the next morning and told the front desk that I had two guests traveling to meet me and they said no problem. I left and did my errands and the hotel gave them both a key and they relaxed while I ran my errands. I chose the hotel as they gave us a 4PM checkout time and I had multiple errands to do in the city and did not want to be rushed. I made it back to the hotel at 3:30 just in time to pack and leave for the beach. The Intercontinental Hotel is beautiful and they have never given me an issue with having guys in the room or even guests. The first night there, I was all alone so I jumped on Grindr and there was a cute guy from Singapore 200 feet away and we chatted and he said he just liked giving head. I told him to come to my room. He did and we did and he left and I slept like a baby. This hotel is also very convenient to shops and dining and across the street there is a wonderful Starbucks which I love to get my day started! The BF actually went there, bought a mug for me and told me it was my Xmas gift. I laughed as I knew it was bought across the street and not even wrapped. LOL But, it was a sweet and kind gesture. I really like this hotel and love the fact that even though I have not stayed there for a while that the staff remembers me and that they make sure I am well taken care of.

  4. I had asked the doctors for this in the past but was always told that the pill was not available here. I had to be at the doctor yesterday morning at Bumrungrade and asked for some sleeping pills and was given a perscription for Valium. I thanked him and told him I wished they would have Ambian one day. He said, "we do." And, he gave me a prescription for that for 60 days. I was really happy as I had always had to buy this in USA. It was the generic version and not the brand but that was OK for me as well. Plus, he kept my prescription for the Valium on my ticket as well so I got a double dose. Loving Thailand!
  5. I was in Bangkok for only a few hours yesterday but I had to buy a bicycle. I went to 3 stores in the city. One was the Cannondale Store on Sumkumvit and then I went to 2 that were around Lumpini Park. In all 3, the rates were double what they were in the USA and even on some 4x what I would pay for a bike in the USA. I knew this would be the case, but I was hoping to find a good deal at one of the shops. No luck at all. If you are looking for a brand bike, your best bet is to buy in USA or your home country and ship here!
  6. Lesson 12 - Hotels do not care about old men / younger guys (over 18) I checked into a great hotel for the next 13 nights in Hua Hin. I had 2 boys with me that are Thai. However, I have been here at least 15 times over the years and all with the same 2 boys. The hotel always has me a welcome gift. This time, they also had one for each of the boyfriends. Now, that is a nice gesture. I noticed the one night I was in Bangkok for transit only that the Intercontinental there was also great with the boys. They gave them zero hassle and no issues. Of course, they were registered for my room but the hotel staff remembered them as well. The bellboy said, "Oh, Mr. Prem, I remember you and Mr. Michael." He has been there for 10 years or more and knows us both so always says hi when he sees us. It is often asked on the boards if good hotels stop guests. I have never had this issue in Thailand. But, I always book a room for 2 or 3 and then my guys do not dress like trash. They wear simple clothes and are respectful. Not once I have had an issue with this in Thailand.
  7. Fantastic reports. I feel like I am there! Thank you. Jackson is hot!
  8. This is about India. The home of computer programming and www operations for the majority of the world. Don't you know they would be the first to have great technology? LOL No, the government is so fucking slow and dysfunctional. I have never seen anything like it. Expect the app in 2020.
  9. In a step that is aimed at making travel to India significantly easier, I am delighted to share with you that from 27th November, 2014, the Government of India has introduced the Visa on Arrival (enabled by Electronic Travel Authorization) facility for travelers visiting India from 43 countries including USA. You simply need to complete an online form that would take approximately 30 minutes to fill, upload your photograph and attach a scanned image of the photograph page of your passport. Payment is made online, and the Electronic Travel Authorization is processed and emailed to you within five working days.

    Good Evening

Welcome! For whatever reason, we are very happy to have you here!
  11. Why do you think MM is going down?
  12. RIO DE JANEIRO – Brazil celebrated 3,701 gay weddings in 2013, the first year a judicial decision authorized same-sex marriage, officials announced Tuesday. Of all gay marriages last year, 52 percent were between women and 48 percent between men, according to figures of the civil registry published by the Brazilian Geography and Statistics Institute, or IBGE. Same-sex marriages were pronounced legal in Brazil in a May 2013 decision of the National Judiciary Council (CNJ), though gay activists demand that their rights be confirmed in a law. Previously, a same-sex couple could only register as a “stable union,” which in terms of its rights were judged equivalent to marriage in a May 2011 decision of the Supreme Court, which acted in lieu of any existing legislation on the matter. http://laht.com/article.asp?ArticleId=2364460&CategoryId=14090
  13. Glad you arrived safe and sound. Enjoy the fantastic LOS!
  14. As always Firecat, amazing reports.
  15. Are you joking? 2 years is a long time for someone so talented. You try to shove 1/2 pound of something up your ass and fly across the Atlantic. Wait. This story is beginning to remind me of a quickie I had on an International flight in my younger years. Anyway, back on topic. Someone this talented must be given a short sentence so he can be a productive member of society.
  16. I spoke with Danilo for about an hour last night and he is doing great. He has a BF and his business is growing. I told him about the email waiting for him. He is doing a lot of translation / tour services / etc. For those of you that know him, know that he is happy and well!
  17. U.K. porn star Bruno Knight (real name: Patrick Gizzie) has been sentenced to two years in jail after he attempted to smuggle half a pound of methamphetamine from LAX to London in his anus. http://instinctmagazine.com/post/gay-porn-star-gets-two-years-after-trying-smuggle-half-pound-meth-his-anus
  18. In 2004, Danilo was not in his 20's yet. I saw him this year when I was in Sao Paulo and had dinner with him and met up with him on several occassions. He is a great guy. He has his own tour agency now and doing well. He has not given his email or info publically. I did send him an email about this but never heard back from him so I assume he is busy.
  19. The Marriott has had these policies for years. Back in 2004, I was staying at the hotel for 4 months and with a long stay rate. They told me that on Dec 24th my rates would increase for over the holidays. I thought absurd as I had been a long term customer and so I planned to check out and go to Phuket for a month. I made the reservations in Phuket and was going there but found a good Delta deal back to the states on the 24th to surprise my family for Xmas. I am lucky I did as that was the year of the Tsunami. But, the fact that the Marriott wanted to raise the rates on someone staying so long was crazy. But, they pull this every year. Look at the hotel rates for Phuket for the nice brand hotels and see those rates on 24 - first week of Jan. Insane.
  20. Quite a few dreams may have come true as it has been announced that James Franco, Zachary Quinto and Charlie Carver will appear in a threesome scene in an upcoming film. The movie is directed by super director Gus Van Sant. http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2014/11/25/james-franco-zachary-quinto-and-charlie-carver-to-appear-naked-in-threesome-scene/
  21. I have some friends who are coming to Bangkok this Xmas season and they will be traveling to Phuket for a few days and then to Bangkok for 8 days. They have asked me to suggest for them the best things to do in Bangkok. They travel with 2 kids and thus are not looking for the club scene. What are the places you think a first time visitor to Thailand should / must see or do in the Bangkok area? I have told them The Kings Palace and Ayutthaya for sure. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
  22. Yes, sorry, this is for the Courtyard. Yes, that is a good rate. I was talking about the regular Marriott for the Xmas holidays. You are right that the Courtyard has good rates but I can't see their pool and that is important to me when on holiday. The Marriott has a great pool. I don't know about the Courtyard.
  23. I agree with you about the Holiday Inn but I like the pool at the Marriott better. I do have a reservations for the Marriott in Pattaya using points but I doubt they upgrade the room for me. So, most likely I'll be staying at another hotel in Thailand that does upgrade me every time. I really like the Pattaya Marriott but paying 11,000 a night for some nights is insane IMHO. I even got a personal quote from the hotel for a long term stay which normally is the same rate each day and it went up on Dec 25-Jan 2.
  24. up2you, I can't find those rates as when I put in most of the Xmas and New Year's rates go up to over 10,000 or 11,000 baht per night and that has ++ to be added. And, that is with the advance purchase rate. Firecat, yes, I could use points but it also says: Using your points will cover your room charge and tax, but additional service charges or resort fees may apply. Please inquire at check-in.
  25. Great photos and great stories as always. I loved the last photo and the girl in the background doing a photobomb. LOL
