  1. Great post. Thank you for all the wonderful information and updates. I hate hard beds as well. Years back I bought a 4 inch memory foam mattress which I transport with me everywhere. I got a Full size one that makes any bed comfortable and I roll it up and put into an army duffle bag. I know that sounds nuts but it has come in handy more than a few times and would make those beds at the Mosaik doable.
  2. Great video. Thanks. I love the blond. How many of the cast are actually gay? Anyone know?
  3. I logged into my IHG account today and got this message: Welcome to Spire Elite! A whole new level of benefits is yours to enjoy. Aparently, this is the new level and requires 75 nights a year to reach. That is a lot of nights in their hotels and while it does give you some benefits, the old Platinum level did the same and was less nights to maintain. Until I logged in today, I had enough nights acculumated for the next 3 years as I have over 150 nights available as roll over. Now, this new requirement rolls that back a year to 2 years of nights. I spoke to the hotel I am staying with and was told this does not effect the Ambassador program or their Royal Ambassador clients as that is for those that stay with Intercontinental branded hotels. In the end, I hope this is not just another tier to suck away points and give less to frequent visitors. But, I do feel that every hotel and airline keep offering less and less.

  5. Nah. It must be your age and lack of good eyesight to think he LOOKS 12. And, then to take your assumption and state that I must like young boys only means that either you have something against me or you are just a fool. In either case, you have the right to your opinion and I have mine. I never get upset when people say stupid shit. But, I have always found it interesting that people have such distain for what other consenting adults like or do. Here you are going to a sauna to have sex with boys (or older men) you find attractive but when someone else does it that doesn’t like what you like in a guy, you start throwing out insults. I have found this for years when someone says they don’t like feminine guys or drag queens or bears or whatever. To me, as long as it is 2 consenting adults, I don’t care what they like or what they do. I do find it interesting when others take issue with these things. I have never really understood it myself. I mean, heck, I thought you were traveling to Brazil to engage hookers for sexual gratification. To me, that is OK. I have no issue with it. I have seen all too often on these forums guys say they hate the Brazilian guys for this reason or the Thailand guys for another reason or feminine guys for this reason and so on. In the end, if you are happy with your decision and someone else does something that you see as not your thing, that is OK. But, in the end, you only do yourself a dis-justice as eventually someone will come knocking and say,”hey, all those sauna boys are being taken advantage of and we need to stop that.” That will never be me as I believe prostitution should be legal everywhere. But, I think sad when someone starts to rag on another person for doing something (or anything) with another adult.
  6. Yeah, that was about the time I guess. It was back in the early 2002-2006. He stayed with me for several weeks at The Intercontinental Hotel and I had a great time with him. He was sweet but there was zero communication as neither of us spoke the other language. The hotel concierge was great and interpreted for us on a daily basis and I had friends in NYC who I would call and we would both speak to them and they would interpret. It was very hard to communicate that way but I did have fun with him. I took him to Carnival a year or two later. He had a blast there as well.
  7. LOL He was 21 at the time. But, I see you not a good judge of age. Also, if you know 117, you would know they don't let under 18 in.
  8. "The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has unanimously approved a resolution to end the organisation's ban on gay adults working as leaders."
  9. I lost touch with him years ago but he is still on my mind often. LOL Does anyone know if he still works?
  10. Check out this video that was posted on YouTube yesterday.
  11. Here is a great review by one of my favorite authors, Madison Smartt Bell. http://www.bostonglobe.com/arts/books/2015/07/11/lee/VVGcqMJNpx5VR0SL0E2toL/story.html
  12. I also agree. Excellent post. Thank you. And, what a bargain! I also hope you continue to enjoy Salvador.
  13. Thanks. I had forgotten about Pat Buchanan. He was a dick and I guess I was too young back then to know he had a part of the White House. It was an excellent documentary and I didn't know that Canada was the FIRST county to legalize gay marriage. I guess I always thought it was one of those liberal EU countries.
  14. Thank you. Great video. I love seeing Edmund White. He was the first author I remember that spoke to "me."
  15. An interesting twist in the Male Escort Blackmail case that has been going on. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/crime/david-geffen-male-escort-786349
  16. I just found this and have been playing with it. I like it. But, has anyone had any issues with it or used it? https://www.symbaloo.com
  17. I have used the MS Office 2011 for Mac for years and love it. Esp. Outlook as I have a MS Exchange Server. So far, I see very minor changes but the look and feel is a bit cleaner. It is integrated with OneDrive but I don't use that as much as Dropbox. So, so far so good. I'll let you know as I use this more.
  18. I love my Mac but I have always used Word and I like Outlook. The entire office suite from MS has never been kept up to date and the last version of the program is 2011. Microsoft now says that they will start supporting it more and has released 2016. I downloaded it last night and like it so far. I tend to try to keep everything on my computer up to date and with this, I pay a monthly fee for it so it was a free download for me. If I run into any snags, I'll let you know. Anyone else download it yet? http://www.theaustralian.com.au/business/technology/microsoft-releases-office-for-mac-2016-pledges-better-os-x-support/story-e6frgakx-1227436460287

  20. I have ordinary friends that have gone for years with no problem but they have to go through Canada or Mexico. Today, it is easy to go if you wish to go with an organized group. Personally, I'd love to do the photography tour and see the country but there are tons of ways to go legally.
  21. Would you like a piece of this?
  22. I have been a supporter of Vonage almost since the first year it started. This year I switched. It was a hard choice for me as I loved my 212 area code number and I did not want to give it up and so for years I kept paying the fees. I was moved to the lowest plan and then again the lowest over and over again but they kept changing things and I got tired of the BS. I finally transferred my number to MagicJack and was thrilled. The clarity is great and the fees are much better than Vonage. I also use Skype more than anything. Mainly, I use it as I have MS Office and it gives me 100 free world wide minutes per month. I love that and use it often. I also find the rates very competitive to Thailand and Brazil. I have used this service for many years and it is still what I use for business more than anything as everyone has Skype. For the bf's, if I place a call to them, I use Skype. If I want to see them, I'll use either Facetime or Skype. The clarity on Facetime seems better to me. I have not yet got send and receive SMS to work on either Skype or MagicJack but I have been told it is possible. It is just not working for me. What other ways do you use for communication? Am I missing a better deal?
  23. I have recently had friends travel to both Cuba and Brazil and had a blast. There are good things and bad things about both places. For now, Brazil is a bit more unsafe than in recent years but my friends who go tell me that they feel perfectly safe and secure. They do stick to the main areas though. For Cuba, I have heard that the boys are amazing and very excited to see foreigners. There is a thriving gay scene there. There was a thread on this site a while back (2014) about Cuba and it is well worth a read. For those looking for some fun times and adventure, have you considered either of the above? I know many will say they prefer Thai boys. I get that. But, for others variety is the spice of life.
  24. I was reading a book in an art gallery and found this word. Not wanting to look dumb, I waited and looked it up later. sylvan \SIL-vuhn\ adjective: 1. Of or pertaining to woods or forest regions. 2. Living or located in a wood or forest. 3. Abounding in forests or trees; wooded. noun: 1. A fabled deity or spirit of the woods. 2. One that lives in or frequents the woods or forest; a rustic. They probably picture it as a kind of modest conservatory, set in sylvan splendour in some charmingly landscaped garden. -- Sally Vincent, "Driven by daemons", Guardian, November 10, 2001 They choose to live where they do because of the beauty and peacefulness that a sylvan setting affords. -- Henry Petroski, "Step Lively", Washington Post, June 30, 2002 Following the course of the brook, and especially in the ravines, are many poplars and other tall trees, which, together with the bushes and the shrubs, form a dark and labyrinthine wood. . . . It would, in truth, be difficult to imagine anything more secluded and sylvan, more solitary, peaceful, and silent than this spot. -- Juan Valera, Pepita Jimenez Sylvan derives from Latin silva, sylva, "a wood or grove."
