I will be taking British airways overseas, and I have a 12 hour layover at Heathrow airport in London. Has anyone had such a long layover? If so, were you able to check your bags into either the airport are the lounge? What would you do in the city into such a short timeframe? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

LOL I didn't read that. I guess I am going blind in my old age. Can I join the army?

No, it does not disqualify you at all. Was this a side step to avoid answer who is moderating your board? I think I smell a side step. I am not making a federal case out of anything. I am simply asking the same question you did. What's the problem with that?
-
Meanwhile, the question as to whether YOUR board has moderators is a question for GayButton, no one else, to address - unless, of course, you happen to be a moderator on his board. It is fine with me as well.

I have been actively watching the media uproar from the Cecil the Lion murder that occurred in Africa. (You can see from the murder statement that I abhor this act) Many news articles have done a good job at uncovering the dentist who did this. The dentist website crashed yesterday. His Yelp reviews are a hoot. The social media has been destroying him left and right. I am not sure he will ever move on from this. Or, at least I hope he won't. Here is a good article I read: http://deadspin.com/dipshit-midwestern-dentist-identified-as-cecil-the-lion-1720587798

I like my legs and back equally massaged. I could care less about the time spent on my arms. To me that is a waste. But, when they start with my arms, I normally place my hands on their cock so as to them them know I like things long and hard. They get the picture and before my first hand is massaged fully, they are erect for the rest of the massage.

Interesting analogy to the Hunger Games. I had never really thought of that before but the more I think about that with Bangkok and the rest of the country, the more I see.

Gaybutton's first site was the one I used when I first came to Thailand and it was full of great information. I did not post back then, but I did get tons of information from it. His current site is also one that I would use if I would be coming to LOS for the first time. One can learn a lot from it and from him. I have nothing but the utmost respect for him and he has always been kind to me. That said, I don't think I was criticizing him when I said his board was heavy moderated. He states that to everyone and it is his "iron fist" style. For me, that is OK and I still learn a lot from it. This board is more the limp wrist style and lets most things go. I much prefer no fisting or fingering to my sensitive areas so a completely unmoderated board is my style. But, it is not my board and I don't get what I want.
-
Why is that important? I am curious why anyone would need to know who a moderator is. Who are the moderators on Gaybutton? Give us their names. Who are the moderators on SGT? Give us their names. Who owns SGT? (I know but most people do not know the real owner) All questions above are there for GB and not to be answered as I don't care to know the answer. I have never found such questions important to me. I want to know if a board is run well. This one appears to be. GB's appears to be. (but, I think a little heavy handed at times) Other than that, it ain't my business what others are doing or not doing. I know the gossip group in Pattaya wants to know everything but as they have no one on the in, they can't find out what they need. So, what?

For Adam, as he posted these a while back! They were edited for another site.

Thinking about a possible November trip to Rio
TotallyOz replied to a topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
Totally worth it IMHO. I know you have a special friend down there. I am sure he will love spending every day and night with you. I have been with groups, friends, family and alone. I had a great time in all situations. When alone, I found things to do and people to spend time with. Go and enjoy! -
So You Think You Can Dance? Boys Review from July 27th Derek looked fantastic in his military outfit. He has a beautiful smile. The girls that he danced with her quite beautiful. It is wonderful to see Paula Abdul agin. She is a true class act in my opinion. I thought Moises and Jim did a great job in their hip-hop routine. I think it’s very hard for Moises to act very masculine on stage, but I thought he pulled it off. I did like the quote that he gave about the choreographer had worked with Beyoncé. Very funny. It is a bit sad that Moises gets in the bottom three for the stage dancers every week. I do not think he is a bad dancer, on the contrary I think he is excellent. I wonder how much of this has to do with the fact that he is quite feminine? Edson is simply beautiful. He is so handsome. He has a beautiful smile and I love his personality. He has a beautiful six-pack. I am curious as to what is a few inches below that six-pack. I did not think the dance that he did tonight was that wonderful. Asaf was horrible. The routine didn’t work. The dance didn’t work. And the entire number seems off to me. He made into the bottom three and rightly so. He is very handsome. And I enjoy looking at him. But he is definitely the weaker link. I really enjoyed John Cheeseman’s African dance routine. I thought the three dancers did a great job. Paul is little slip about like in one of the dancers packages, it was quite amusing. Boredom did an OK job. Eddie a.k.a. Neptune did a very nice routine. I thought the chemistry between him and his partner was excellent. I thought the choreography was beautiful. He is a great dancer. I absolutely adore Virgil. I think he is funny, comical and a wonderful dancer. I just enjoy everything about everyone of his performances. Virgil’s performance was excellent. I love the robot routine and it lasted even through the commentary. Absolutely fantastic. He should be safe for weeks to come. It was sad to see the judges choose Asaf over Moises. Fucking insane, IMHO. But, hey, I am not a pro. I just love the show.

I just got my invitation today. It must be used with a Motorola Nexus 6 which looks great. The rates are excellent and I love the fact that you can easily use your bandwidth overseas as well and for me, this is a true bonus. Has anyone else tried it? Got it? Used it? Like it?

Maybe I'm just a ho, but I find guys from each of those cities attractive!

Thai Airways to cut 1,401 jobs, suspend flights to U.S.
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
When they were doing the NYC to Bangkok non-stop, I took it several times and it was always full. They cut that out. I then took LA to Bangkok non-stop several times and it was full. They cut it out. I have not used them since. But, if the airline is a government tool, it might want to keep the flow of people coming into the country that spend good money and many Americans do spend good money in Thailand. I think hard for many airlines to keep up with the Middle Eastern airlines as their governments have unlimited funds to support them. -
Thai Airways International Pcl (THAI.BK) plans to cut 1,401 jobs through voluntary retirement this year and suspend its loss-making flights to Los Angeles and Rome as it pushes ahead with a restructuring plan, its president said on Sunday. Thailand’s national carrier aims to reduce operating costs and capacity by 20 percent under the two-year plan, which also calls for aircraft sales and a reduction in staffing. The firm is one of several state-controlled companies that the military government has targeted for reform since seizing power in May 2014. ADVERTISING The flight suspension will reduce Thai Air capacity by 5 percent, President Charumporn Jotikasthira told Reuters in a telephone interview. The company aims to cut capacity by 15 percent during the second of 2015. http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/07/26/us-thai-airways-restucturing-idUSKCN0Q00CI20150726

I was reading another thread today when I saw Moses signature. It had a link to one of his sites for gay tour guides and companions to show others around. I think this is excellent and something that is really needed. When I travel to Brazil, I always try to find a guide that is gay that can interpret for me. Being in Thailand so much, it is easy for me and I don't need this service. But, if I had found the site on my first few trips, I'd have been happy to spend 30 USD on a good English speaking guide. For those that have not seen the site, it is: http://siamroads.com

I do not see anyone kissing anyone's ass on here. But, I did see a long term poster have a problem and the moderators took action. That said, Z is the 3rd most prolific poster on this board. Even if I disagree with his rationale, he deserves a bit more deference than others. He is loyal and a former moderator. When I ran the board, he was invaluable. When you add these things up, you can't call it kissing someone's ass. But, Smiles has his head so far up his own ass, he can't tell his ass from a hole in the ground.

Relief as San Francisco tests out urine-repellent paint
TotallyOz replied to AdamSmith's topic in The Beer Bar
good idea. Reminds me of when I was a kid and a Boy Scout and we were camping in a tent. In the middle of the night my friend got up to go pee and it was cold outside and he decided to piss out the window. If you know tents, they are mosquito nets and thus all pee goes back inside. We were all splatter with urine and soaking and truly pissed. LOL -
I love gay Thai movies as they seem to explore the soul more than movies made else where. There is a new gay Thai movie out called How to Win at Checkers Every Time. I must see it. It is also about the red card drawings that every Thai male must face in order to determine if they must do military service. I went through this with both of my boyfriends. Anyway, check out this movie. If you see it, please let me know. Here is a review and 2 different trailers. http://ticketing.frameline.org/festival/film/detail.aspx?id=3519&fid=52

I was getting a manicure/pedicure today and CNN was on and watched the president of Kenya say that gays were a "non-issue."
