Better Things (TV series) is a new show that I am enjoying. I like it a lot. I think pretty clever and also funny. I like the musical scores as well.

I disagree totally. Some have the drive. Some don't. But, there are many reasons that they don't or have not leaned to speak English. We can't lump them all into the same category. Much like they can't say, "don't invest too much emotion in a farang. They don't have the desire for love." Again, both things are said but not true in many cases. I have been very successful in getting Thai boys to speak English. And, many still work in Pattaya and are very popular in the bar scene. You are most welcome Pattaya Farangs! Speaking English is a business decision for the boys. It is a good one for them and to help them to advance this helps their life and your life. I agree that I should learn to speak theirs. But, I can't. I'm dumb that way. But, I have tried. I had a boy in Brazil for many years that I truly adored. I met him when he was 18. My boys are with me now full-time but back when they were in AUA over 10 years ago, I was not in the country full-time. But, their continued payments were contingent on their attendance. I have sent many boys to AUA in Pattaya. It is a good school and they did well. Most came out at least speaking a bit better. It is more concentrated on written English as opposed to spoken but it helped. That combined with constant conversation, will help them. IMHO, I think giving a boy the chance to get an education, whether English school or a high school to finish their degree, is a wonderful thing that keeps giving back rewards and dividends in the future. I truly do not understand why people get upset if a guy has boys drinking with him. If they are doing that, most of the time, the boys are working and making some money. Most of these guys will tip and some money is better than none and if you are interested in one, wait an hour or two and take him. If not, then were you really interested at all? I use to love Kaos and would often off 10-30 of the boys for disco, bowling, movies, or just swimming. I had fun and they got paid. They are there to make money. That is their job. I have always wanted to share reviews of people and places I enjoy to get more people to enjoy them as well. I have been in bars many times and wanted to chat with a few friends on stage and instead of getting them a beer which can be expensive, I open a bottle. I find this a great way to save money on the price of drinks. Like bucknaway, I still tip the boys. I also allow them to give drinks to their friends if they want a drink.
