  1. Never mind Khortose. He specializes in baseless rants and does not apologise if he is proven wrong. But that's what's "special" about him.
  2. Wouldn't do any good to call interpol right now. They's too busy looking for the ex-PM.
  3. Londoner has the solution: Lock the contents of the minibar in the safe while a stranger is staying with you. Or, chalk it up to the total cost of the encounter with the boy. Was that little bottle really very expensive?
  4. "Very energetic night although we got some sleep and when we opened eyes at 7 a.m. I could not miss that proposal – you stay till 10 and I give you 4000 / readers please stop screaming , see the man first !" Well said, vinapu.
  5. I disagree. He made a couple of entirely unacceptable comments, almost vicious, in regard to some other members' posts. Many other members can easily fill any information gaps that are the result of his banning.
  6. Obviously, tragically, I missed my chance. I was teaching not at Silpakorn U, but down the street at Thammasat U. lf I could only roll back the time....
  7. "Young man" would be the preferred term.

  9. Nasherich, I enjoy your reports for their "Everyman" nature, to which most of us can easily relate.
  10. Thanks Christian. Nice to have further proof that you DO have a sense of humor.
  11. Surprising that the egregious post #11 has been allowed to remain without comment from moderator.
  12. Koh Lipe on the map looks like the entire island could be covered on foot in about an hour. And looks unlikely that there would be a be a gay bar there, but you'd probably be able to hire someone to meet your needs.
  13. Not stupid and dangerous to ask, but could be very risky to bring. https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/990235-vaping/
  14. Very good points, ceejay. If the NGO’s finances are not transparent, and if the NGO farang staff in-country are living in expensive villas, and if the NGO is just proselytizing instead of providing medical, social or educational services, they don’t deserve a penny.
  15. Are you familiar with Google? Request Uber at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) | Uber https://www.uber.com/airports/bkk/ Free cellphone SIM cards from AIS, DTAC and TRUE Move (Thailand's three biggest cellphone carriers) are available on level 2. Ride options at Suvarnabhumi ...
  16. Thanks for the topic, reader. I am sure it is enlightening to those of us who never carefully studied the matter. But I regret to say I'm rather on Steve's side with this one. Just not my cup of.... tea. Or something.
  17. I am completely lacking in modesty, so I suggest you take a look at the several massage venue comments in https://sawatdeenetwork.com/v4/showthread.php?17513-Bangkok-7-14-Jan-2016-(G-rated)&highlight=massage+table That was written in January 2016. Many things may have changed since then.
  18. I meant this as an advisory to inexperienced sex tourists who are hoping for, or feeling they have arrived at, a romantic attachment with a bar boy. They know they are paying for sex, but at the same time hoping it's more than money/sex. That's all.
  19. The grief would come if the new or short term sex-pat thinks "true love" is in the process of blooming. More experienced farang would be better educated.
  20. Another approach would be to have Thai Immigration officers stationed at some airports in China so that immigration processing could be done even before the tourists board their Thailand bound flights. On arrival in Thailand, they would be dealt with at "Pre-screened" channels. But is there really any way to efficiently and quickly handle several thousand people who arrive simultaneously? If the airports lack sufficient space and if the travelers are unsophisticated first time tourists who don't speak English and are unfamiliar with the concept of queues, the prospect is not encouraging.
  21. An American friend, when it came time for payment, was reminded, in no uncertain terms, of the purpose of the boys working the Soi Twilight bars: "Not make friends. Make money". This should be emblazoned in stone at the entrance to the soi. Might avoid some grief later on.
  22. sglad: If you wish to carry on in the grand tradition of Beachlover, Mickp, et al., then you are certainly free to do so. Just please don't expect us to consider sglad any more credible than your other personas.
  23. Perhaps sglad could start a new thread since we are now quite off topic. Something like "I really am a twenty-something Singaporean". He could point out the errors in the information provided by reader's post #194 in the now-locked thread "Toyboys Pattaya off fee". That would set the record straight. I don't know why he has so far refrained from doing that.
  24. If we are talking about a nebulizer, they are available on Lazada Thailand: http://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?q=nebulizer
  25. Maybe posting this on GBT would elicit some responses from the many people who live in Pattaya. I assume you're talking about the compressor machine that uses nebules/respules to assist inhalation.
