  1. So the Grandmother doesn't want it. So what. As we all know she will do what benefits her or in other words if she was to lose something by not allowing the boy to go to school , she will change her tune quickly. The father has no experience to understand the importance of education , so can he really be blamed for not understanding what a benefit it would be to his son? Michael wants to lead the boy to education and as we all know the surrounding family members will go along in order to keep their benefits. The question is if Michael can keep motivated by the knowledge that he is right even when faced with the lack of interest of family members. I bet he can and what he is looking for here are helpful ideas. Those of you who love to criticize Hey Gay should realize that he is the only poster here who has continued to offer positive ideas even while getting picked on by certain members and their negativity. Not to say I agree with all of Hey Gays posts but in this particular case he is trying to be helpful and positive!
  2. Great Video Michael. I agree it is a gorgeous pool with a fabulous view. Now if we could just get that breakfast a little cheaper??
  3. To get back on track my contribution of the day. BKK skyline at night!
  4. So today I went to my favorite place MBK. I went to the 3rd floor and designed some business cards They said come back in 15 minutes which I did and got 100 for about $8US. What a deal. Then down to the phones where naturally there was a selection of leather cases for IPhone 5. Bought a nice one for $13 US and I'm sure something similar and no better will be $40 in the Apple store. Now all I have to do is order the phone when I return to the USA. hehe Stopped at Santa's Chicken for a snack (yumm) and then picked up some Versace perfume for a friend. She used up the first bottle. I am sure it is well over $100 in the USA but only $17 at MBK. Who cares if its fake, it smells the same. hehehe You can get so much done and bought in MBK in air conditioned comfort. I have no idea why anyone struggles through Silom at night and Patpong. Took a taxi back for 57 baht very little traffic and brand new with great A/C. I love BKK taxis when there is no traffic. Hopefully these Black Clouds do not dump on me and tonight I will go to Soi Twilight.
  5. Sure you splurge after I leave?? Hehe I will get even when I return!
  6. OK Thaiworthy. I'll help Michael out with a little skin. Available in BKK. Tough to find this type in Pattaya??
  7. Arrived in Bangkok yesterday and what a welcome change in many ways. I lived in BKK 2009-2011 and then this year returned to my 4 trips a year of 1 month each. If I was to live full time again in Thailand I would definitely choose Bangkok. But for 1 month trips I have become comfortable with 3 weeks in Pattaya followed by 1 week in Bangkok and once in awhile a few days in Chiang Mai. I arrived at my hotel Grande Centere Point on Ratchadamri which is 300 meters from the same named Skytrain. 1 stop to Silom, 1 stop to Siam Paragon and 2 stops to MBK. A perfect location. My first time at this Hotel although I have stayed at other Centre Points. It is a serviced apartment Hotel with studios to 3 bedroom available. The entrance is impressive with a 2 story lobby. It also has an excellent swimming pool , gym, business center etc. I am in a 1 bedroom of 69 sq meters. Furnished beautifully and with a fabulous skyline view from the 39th floor. 2 Flat screen tv's, fax machine, coffee machine, full kitchen with a washer dryer. Bathroom with separate deep tub and shower. I am paying just over $100 US including taxes. This was reserved on Agoda. I am surrounded by the Four Seasons and St Regis which gives you an idea of the area. The difference in surroundings between Pattaya and Bangkok is stark. My first thing to do was walk 300 meters to the skytrain and take it 1 stop to Siam Paragon. When I walk into this mall I am immediately reminded what a mediocre mall Central Plaza in Pattaya is. First in the first 10 minutes I saw more stunning boys then I did in Central Plaza Pattaya in 3 weeks. Then down to the basement where one of the best Food Courts in the world exists. Nothing compares with it anywhere in Thailand or most of the world and that includes the Market which has everything you can imagine. Well almost. They have never had sliced deli Roast Beef. Don't understand it. Did I fail to mention how easy it was to get there for 15 baht on a beautiful air conditioned train . I love the Skytrain. It goes to 90% of the places I want to go in Bangkok and is clean and cheap and comfortable except during rush hours when it can be packed. Then you always have the choice of clean air conditioned taxis which if you understand the peak traffic times, can be a very reasonable way to get to spots not serviced by the Skytrain. But everyone has made a miscalculation and been caught in famous traffic jams of Bangkok. So Skytrain is always the first choice followed by taxis . It is so nice not to have to deal with the Baht Bus Mafia etc. Of course it is even worse in Chiang Mai which is one of the main reasons I spend so little time there. I refuse to risk my life on motorbikes so I find the transportation system terrible in Chiang Mai and only slightly better in Pattaya. So by now you are asking why I am spending 3 weeks out of 4 in Pattaya. The answer is simple. I find it much easier to hook up with boys in Pattaya 24 hours a day. I can go on Gayromeo at any time and find 60 boys to choose from. Of course I also have my favorites and the good thing about Pattaya they are at the most 10-15 minutes away by motorbike. In Bangkok the expanse of the city sometimes allows the boy travel time of 60 minutes or more. When I was living in Bangkok, I just arranged my life differently since every day , I did not feel the need for 1 or 2 boys. But when my visits are back to vacation mode of 30 days after being mainly celibate for 2-3 months , I want boys. It is much easier in Pattaya then anywhere in the world . If I was to move back to Thailand it would definitely be Bangkok that I would live. Today if it does not rain I will go to MBK which once again has nothing to compare anywhere in Thailand and I will check out the Boy Bars on Soi Twilight. I will hate those drink prices but it is only for a few days . HeHe
  8. Have had the same number with DtTAC for years and like the plan for messages and internet. They are constantly having specials and their English at the call center is pretty good. Also their calls to USA are only 3 baht a minute which I find quite reasonable and the quality excellent. Now if only my Iphone was as good a phone as it is a mini computer, things would be perfect!
  9. Exactly! Even if he gives them to you , they are still his facts. Should you rely on them Shame on You!
  10. No I don't. I would have to know what facts he looked at that led him to his assumptions. I have looked at many deals where I had done my due diligence and was comfortable with my decision and yet it turned out I was wrong. In some cases I was just lucky I did not pull the trigger and in other cases I suffered the consequences. Luckily my homework of the facts led me to the right decision enough times to make up for the wrong decisions. But in all cases it was my homework that led to the decisions right or wrong. I never relied on someone else's homework. And if I had I would have no one to blame but myself.
  11. You want to drag things up from years ago Who cares. Anybody who lost money in Ocean 1 deserves exactly what they got. Just because someone posts his beliefs does not mean he cares if you believe him or not. When I post about ToyBoys, I could care less if you agree with me. They are my beliefs. If you find them to be true when you visit then maybe I helped steer you in the right direction. If you hate the line up of boys it does not change my beliefs. I can't tell you how many times I have visited a Bar because of what someone else posted and was miserably disappointed. I should be mad at that poster. I think not!. Things change, perceptions change and we are all responsible for our own decisions. If someone knowingly lies to me in order to get me to sign a contract then I have a right to be mad. I have no right to be mad if I listen to someone on a message board and he turns out to be wrong. Buyer Beware. We need to grow up and be responsible for our own decisions and especially not blame someone on a message board for a decision we never even made.
  12. Please. The word Poo is dragging us into the gutter. Get real. That is about as nice a word he could have used to say what he meant. It really does not make any difference if we believe his story about 16 alpha males. I don't know HeyGay but I do know people where that story could be believable to me but the look would have to be longer then 2 seconds (hehhe) I have been with average looking people who have no fear walking through Siam Paragon at giving a big smile to some gorgeous hunk and be writing down his number 5 seconds later. I can't do it , maybe most of the posters here cannot do it but some people can. It's his story. He doesn't care whether you believe it . Frankly I don't care whether any of you believe it. This is a message board. Take it for what it is worth and don't prolong a discussion such as this by pricking HeyGay for another response. I am quite sure every one on this board has posted something that certain members have not agreed with including me. Does that mean we have to start a back and forth that does nobody any good and just feeds the original poster. There are too many informative posts here to allow one or two or three to derail the enjoyment that we have. And by the way I don't remember HeyGay calling anyone here derogatory names which is pulling us into the gutter!
  13. And as I posted on another thread if a new visitor can not discern that there are 5 opinions on ToyBoys one way and one differing opinion and that makes it likely that the majority may be right, then there is probably no way to help him anyways.
  14. Also any reader who reads this thread would immediately see that HeyGay has not got it right. There are plenty of posts here that make it clear about the mix of boys. No sense getting upset at his post or worrying that someone might be misled. The thread makes it very clear to anyone who reads it what they will find in Toy Boys. No different then when you read Hotel Reviews on Trip Advisor. If there are 99 positive reviews and 1 negative, most people will discount the negative review and believe the positive ones. But the negative review still gets posted.
  15. I think some of Hey Gay posts should be taken for the comedic writing they are. Nobody believes them but they should make us chuckle and they really don't hurt anybody unless someone takes them for real and wants to argue the validity. Just laugh and move to the next thread!
  16. We just hit 2 Bars. FunnyBoys at 845pm had a full complement of boys although I am sure there were more to come. IMHO the best looking boys were still to come. We were not necessarily looking to buy so after 20 minutes we crossed the Soi to ToyBoys. 28 boys when we walked in and it kept growing during the next 45 minutes to I would estimate at least 40 boys. Definitely something for every one and if you are a face person like me the choice would be very difficult. Not many tattoos and the average age probably around 22 with a few boys of the younger but I would guess legal age. Customers kept coming in so I would say the word is getting out that ToyBoys is surely a place to stop. No smoking and music at a very acceptable level. Don't miss this one. It may have disappointed you in the past but it will surely not now!
  17. I have to agree they are really nice people who remember you by name and do the little things with out asking like extra ice. If anything the food is even better then my last visit and the prices are very reasonable. Going there is like going home!
  18. Yes I was the friend in attendence and I concur with everything that Michael says. He also forgot to say he had Chili Con Carne and loved it although maybe he considers that a soup(it was much too big) There is just no better home cookin American food in Pattaya or even Thailand. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!
  19. I disagree with your characterization of "most" . The overwhelming % of boys in Sunee are of age and have id. My guess is 15% could be questionable and in many cases the smaller kids just look younger because of their size. I have been surprised many times when verifying that some youngster was not only 18 but 20 when I was afraid he was 16. Also BoysTown now has many of the same young looking boys and once again I am quite sure most but not all would be 18.
  20. The word pissy would be a polite way of describing you. Why don't you remove yourself from this Board since nobody is interested in your know it all rants. Possibly the monks can pray for your salvation although I doubt it will do any good!!
  21. You are right that it rarely happens. Perhaps because they know that BoyzTown boys look down on Sunee boys. Of course no reason for them to say they are from Sunee. Perhaps because they don't realize that things might be better in BoyzTown. Many boys have a low opinion of their looks and are not comfortable looking for another job and being rejected.
  22. Sounds like you are talking about the USA!
  23. You are in Berlin. Now what was it that keeps you coming to Thailand??? heheheheh
  24. Which Bar is Scorpion??
  25. I can' believe you gave this place the same rating as Pig and Whistle. All you have to do is look at the photos to tell there is no comparison. No home fries, no mushrooms, less scrambled eggs. The only thing that could have been better is the toast. Although I was not there I would bet the service did not compare either .
