That is not true . If you plug in the date for the promotion for BKK the first rate that comes up is the identical Holiday Special rate listed in the promotion. And the promotion was specific in saying the promotion was all over the world.

I too have stayed at Fraser Suites but on Sathorn. Just for fun I checked the rates in BKK during this supposed Holiday promotion. Turns out it is no promotion at all. I checked dates in March April and May which of course are well outside this supposed promotion. Rates were identical for all of those months. I hate companies that tell you they are giving you something special when in reality it is exactly the same as they offer at all times. For that reason alone they would never get any of my business.

The photos are great and the pizza looked good so can you be more specific about why it was bad. Was it the dough, sauce , meats , spices. I find pizza to be very personal. I like thick pan type dough, others like this crispy almost toasted pita bread type dough. I like very little sauce and more cheese, others the opposite. In fact many times I prefer a white pizza with no sauce at all. Since I know you have been there many times Michael and always pleased , what changed that essentially made the pizza terrible. Inquiring minds want to know??

Strange since you liked Limoncello and they are the same owners so pizza should be good. I had the 4 cheese pizza at Zanottis and thought it was good but expensive!

This is such a valuable post. It should give pause to many who are in relationships and have not put their house in order. Any one of us can be become deceased in a split second. It can be disease or an idiot in a car or on a motorbike. There is no excuse for not providing for those we love . If that is you or as it was me for too long, then make immediate plans to see a lawyer and set up wills or trusts and make sure your wishes are carried out and not determined by government agencies or relatives who did not understand your wishes!!

So we should search every boy we are with because that is the only way we would know if they have a knife. And of course nobody is going to do that. I have the distinct impression that Christian writes these thing just to hear himself write and that if the boy showed him a knife it was in good fun and not meant to be taken as a threat. At any rate I have no idea what boys have in their pockets and I am not the least bit worried about it!!!

Interesting how nobody seems to understand the boys are at equal risk here. Going with strangers to short time rooms and nobody knows who they are with. I completely understand why they might carry a knife.

You only have to be in a defensive position when you are wrong which of course you were. How did doing the right thing on a visit to one temple change the fact that you did the wrong thing going to the Palace in shorts. If you had done the right thing and checked you would have worn pants. To complain about the procedure for people who arrive in shorts as a waste of your time is just ridiculous. You were wrong and yet they provided a way for you to visit anyways . It is not their fault that it requires some of your time to make up for your own mistakes. You live in Thailand , learn the rules for visits to tourist sites.

Yes this seems to happen many times on forums. A member lets a disagreement with another member drive him from the Board. I never quite understand that. If someone disagrees with the Board management then certainly that is one of the roads he can take. However when it is a disagreement with another member , I never quite understand why that influences their continued membership. FH will be missed certainly by me who especially enjoyed his photos. But this Board certainly has many members who post things that we all enjoy. Hopefully in the future members will remember not to let personal arguments influence their continued posting.

The big waste of time is that you don't understand the country you are living in and respect the customs that everyone should understand about religious sites. Read up before you go somewhere and then you will be properly dressed and not have to complain about the procedure that would have made up for your indifference!!!

Have not been there recently but last time it had certainly gone downhill in quality of boys and cleanliness. But these things change so I am not up to date.

No doubt about it. I am from USA and find myself always over tipping at restaurants. It just kills me to leave the small change that you get many times which is acceptable in Thailand. I try to force myself not to exceed 10% unless as service charge has been added and then I leave only small coins

Glad you saw my post and I am sure every little bit helps Scooby and I suggested to him he might add Booking .com to the site since with them you don't have to pay in advance and will be just another choice for members to help out.

I know what you mean about having to pay in advance with Agoda. Maybe booking.com would be a good partner for the site. Rarely have to make a deposit with them???

I find it objectionable that people are so quick to criticize and berate Scooby in the Forum . I am sure it is a huge undertaking to update hundreds of listings and of course it is impossible for him to have personal knowledge of all these Businesses. If you find facts wrong in a posting then have the good grace to send him a private message so that he can correct it which he has shown to be more then willing to do. If he inserted a judgement in the listing , I bet he got that judgement from some other site that reviewed the business and probably did not make it up out thin air . Maybe you don't agree with it and maybe I will not agree with something you review. That is life we don't always have the same perceptions. Now let me ask everyone here what you have done to help this site have some money to make programming changes etc. I asked Scooby yesterday by PM how many visitors were clicking on the Agoda emblem on this site to make reservations. He told me there have been 12 bookings in 5 months and 2 of those were mine. Pretty pitiful if you ask me. I suggest everyone who travels , try to remember to click on Agoda on this site to make their reservations. This provides a little income to the site to make the programming changes etc that members are always quick to ask for.

With an attitude like yours start your own site and disappear from this one. You won't be missed!!! If you had any class you would have sent a private message to Scooby suggesting he had some information wrong and asking him to update it. Evidently this place is a favorite of yours and just one of hundreds to be listed. Anyone who thinks every listing should be perfect has too much time on his hands and thinks that everyone sits on their ASS reading and correcting listings on Forums. But it is evident you are completely lacking in class!!!

Exactly what Scooby is hoping for.( I Think) He lists the establishment in some broad strokes only and members here chime in about the place. Then visitors get all sorts of information that they could never get from just one person. PERFECT!
