You will have no problem finding free hook ups at your age. Even then you will be expected to pay for drinks, meals etc in most cases . They have all been asked the question before so don't be afraid to ask if money is involved. Most money boys will volunteer the fact during your messages but this is not 100%.

We all know drugs are a problem in Thailand and all over the world. But some of us may forget just how prevalent it is in Thailand. This is a pretty big seizure in Thailand, but is a drop in the bucket I am sure. Some day maybe we can eradicate the worst of them?? follow this link: http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/369812/168000-yaba-pills-252kg-of-ganja-seized

Lots of choices but time is not on your side in order to do too much. Yes the beaches in Phuket are beautiful but the night life pales in comparison to Pattaya. Pattaya you can get a limo for $40 US and be there from Bangkok in under 2 hours. You will spend way more time then that just getting to the airport and waiting for your flight to Phuket. When you arrive Phuket it will be another hour or more to get to your Hotel. The beaches in Pattaya suck but a 30 minute speed boat ride will get you to some beautiful beaches on KhoSan. Pattaya has a number of night club discos that you will like the vibe and the music and of course plenty of bars with Boys available. Your Hotel budget will allow you to stay at some of the best Hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya. You might look at Marriott Hotels such as Courtyard and Renaissance which are easily in your budget and well located next to Skytrain Transportation and some great shopping Malls where you may just stumble upon many free hook ups. As long as you stay in Business areas of Bangkok, transportation of all types are available. Hard Rock Hotel in Pattaya should be in your budget and has a young vibe with great pools and ability to get around and also close to some of the best Discos. Even the Marriott may be in your budget in October and you can walk to the Gay GoGo Bars and their pool is just fabulous although the rooms tend to be small. October for weather can be just luck of the drawer. I am almost always there in October and some have had some rain every day and other years have been pretty dry. Usually the rain can be of short duration and you just need to be prepared. Suggest you post on GayRomeo in Bangkok immediately with some flattering photos and wait for response which could be many. Also look on Gayromeo for your types and send out some message to your types to get a feeling of what is available.

I totally agree with your 2 choices!!

Great photo!

All of the above is true but if you don't take a chance on Gayromeo then you are also missing out IMHO. Especially with forums like these that have reviews of Gayromeo Boys. The 2 hottest boys I have been with in the last 5 years are both GR boys who have never worked in a Bar. Of course personal likes and dislikes are the most important but if you see a boy reviewed positively and he is your type then why not take a chance.

There is no reason to use just one of these options. I am a regular Gayromeo user but I also go to the Bars. Best of Both Worlds!!

The truth is there are counterfeit goods all over the world. Yes you might get them on 5th ave in NYC. But if you buy from reputable stores in places such as Siam Paragon , you are probably just as safe. Fact is with the ridiculous taxes being added to these goods, many buyers would go elsewhere. Now they can buy in Bangkok and since Bangkok offers way more value in regards to Hotel prices , transportation etc, I would guess there will be even more Chinese visiting?

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-09-09/thailand-to-scrap-luxury-goods-tax-to-lure-travelers-from-china.html The Chinese are dominating in some travel markets and most likely this will attract many more of them to Thailand and especially Bangkok. Although good for the economy, I fear it will be bad for many of us who visit a few few times a year. I can see better Hotels being able to raise their rates as occupancy increases. Any thoughts?

Glad to hear they have taxis at the airport. Certainly not a good city for taxis at any rate. Hard to find and rates are 2-3x what you would pay for similar distance in BKK. Songtaews are ridiculously over priced and way too small compared to Pattaya although I understand they are on continuous routes in Pattaya. Great city but really need to use motorbikes which I hate if you want to get around easily at all times. Probably the major reason I don't spend more time there.

Glad I'm not going to Chiang Mai anytime soon. Transportation sucks there anyways , now even a bigger mess!! http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/368381/airport-uses-more-taxis-as-chiang-mai-strike-continues

I think Line allows you to send free sms messages and some phone calls also. Whatsapp is the same I believe??
-
I t can only get better because it can't get worse. Right now in any kind of accident on a motorbike ,car etc the farang is always guilty regardless of the circumstances.
-
Cracks me up also. But then I never found a NYC taxi driver that could find anything out of midtown especially anything in the Village. I find this the case in most countries with London being the glaring exception. The know where they are going and how to get there and at those rates they better know how to get there!!
-
What do you think? Will it help? http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/368190/tourist-court-launched-in-pattaya
-
Well I agree that is the biggest problem for me in BKK which I try to minimize by using the BTS during busy periods . I also am not adverse to paying more then the meter would be during heavy traffic periods , if i think it is a fair alternative. I agree NYC that would not be a problem but the meter there is going very fast while sitting in traffic vs. very slow in Bangkok. Still I use the taxis many times and most of the time think I am getting a nice a/c car for a very reasonable rate. But I think the first time visitor might find it much harder to be happy with the taxis when they don't know when and where to use them.

Interesting article about complaints of taxi drivers in Bangkok. I am usually happy with the taxi drivers and the fares I am charged, But I cannot divorce myself from the facts that almost everywhere else I have lived or travelled, the taxis were far more expensive and in most cases not as nice. Your thoughts? http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/368542/more-than-23000-complaints-against-drivers-on-taxi-consumer-hotline

I have never seen a Hotel that looks so good in photos and gets the worst reviews possible on Trip Advisor. Makes you wonder who created their website since they did a masterful job of deception. Not your fault Scooby, you are just showing what they post on their website. Beware of this one!!!
-
I agree that this is a good rate. Just that it is not a special Holiday rate but a rate available almost any date as the best available rate. That is false advertising .. If they advertised that even over the Holidays you can get great rates on these dates then I would have no problem. They make it sound like this rate is something special not normally available . That is just not the case.
-
LOL Hahahahahah Let me know when you find a city where the promotion is anything other then the normal best rate offered on dates outside the Holiday Special dates. I think that will keep you busy for quite sometime!!
