His non response is in fact a reply. He evidently is happy with the way the Forum is going and sees no need to respond since he sees no need for a change. If you want a Forum that is run with an Iron Hand then you are free to go to Gaybutton. He makes sure everyone adheres to the rules and that is his right as the owner. It is also Scooby's right to think this Forum is running ok with lots of content and discussion.

Again you seem to have problems reading or you want members to just keep repeating what esteemed member Vinapu told you 5 posts ago. He suggested Jupiter, Tawan and Dreamboys for the type you like. You will not get any different responses from anyone else. These are the 3 Bars where you are most likely to find the type you like and you can stop in all the other Bars and maybe there will be a boy or two of what you want and that is what most first time visitors do.

No consistency in your complaints. You complain about trip reports outside of Thailand , yet not a peep about all the Tawan , Hero etc threads which should be in the Business Forum. I could care less , I just don't click on threads like those which have no interest for me. Why don't you do the same?

Possibly it would help if you bothered to read the replies! Christian gave you the basic answers on Feb 28 about rates you can expect and numerous threads about various Bars. Each day there will be different types in each Bar. You just have to go in and look. You failed to say if you wanted Tops, Bottoms or versatile and of course whether you are into massages or just like bedroom time. Also if you want Big Muscles then your choice is more limited to Tawan and until this rant you never said what cities you planned on visiting. Being specific gets you better replies.

You are making a fool of yourself. I posted what a former esteemed member posted on another site . How does that draw attention to me? Rather it draws attention to FH and Taipei. Under that rule your constant ridiculous posts about which Forum something should be posted in are being done to draw attention to yourself . You constantly post about how you think the Board should be run. Rarely do you contribute anything as an OP.

The bottom line is you are the only one who cares and even you are not consistent as there are multiple threads in this forum that could have been posted in other forums , none of which you commented on. The post on Taipei has been enjoyed by many and where it is posted does not matter unless it matters to Scooby which evidently it does not!

KoKo give it up. Open your own Board and you can dictate what you want. Like it or not this Forum has had posts for many places other then Thailand and yes even other then Asia. Aussie has got it right, many would have never clicked on this report by FH if in a different Forum. Since you by your own admission complained to Scooby and he has done nothing, you have your answer. I expect it will have many more views and not because I posted but because FH created it and it deserves to be seen by Gay Thailand members and lurkers.

Again depend where you are going Bangkok or Pattaya etc. Where will you get your guy online or at GoGo Bars. Also if you are talking Big Muscles then your choice of Bars is greatly reduced. Need much more info before anyone can help you!

When fountainhall decided to leave this Forum it left a big hole for other destinations in Asia with quality photos. Many have picked up since then and we do get many great reports. However FH recently posted a report on Taipei on Gaybutton that certainly increased my intention to visit in the future. I have flown through there a number of times but never visited. Beyond Hilarious. I love Pattaya for one reason only the availability of boys. Other then that "it is of a world standard"????? I guess that is true if you don't define the level of World Standard or the actual level of quality. Terrible roads, transportation , polluted beaches unless you take boats to islands etc . I and certainly most world travelers would not be caught dead visiting there except for one reason and we all know what that is both male and female prostitutes. Will they be able to turn it into a World Class Tourist Destination? Better chance of me winning the next $400 million Lottery Jackpot.

Well that may be the procedure in a small minority of Hotels but certainly not in the vast majority of Hotels. There are Gay advertised Hotels and Hotels a few feet from Gay Strip Bars where that is the procedure and if you feel you need the protection of someone at the desk making sure the boy is at least 18 then you need to choose that type. It really depends on type of Hotel. In 15 years of staying at Hilton, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Sheraton , Radisson, I have been approached once to register a guest. I'm also pretty sure from reports here that many of the Non Chain Hotels might ask you to register the guest but even a smaller number of those will call you when the guest leaves. If that is something that will make you comfortable then I am sure members here can give you suggestions for Bangkok and Pattaya. One thing always to keep in mind is make the reservation for Two!

Botton line this sort of thing happens so seldom, that a small payoff so as not to face things we may not want to face is much easier. I am more likely to be robbed by a pump in a gas station that reads high. ( yes happened to me)in the USA.

You have not lived there long enough to know what you are talking about. When I visited BKK for the first time , Saphan Kwai was well known and visited by any gay visitor for the first time. Unfortunately it is not any longer what it used to be, but once it was on most Gay Visitors list and was certainly on mine!

They are incapable of getting the current Chinese customers in Pattaya to visit Sunee or for that fact the majority of gay visitors Only the Bar Owners can do that and I'm not at all sure what the response would be to the grittiness of Sunee. Have you ever walked through there in the day time?

I believe there is a distinct difference between the Seasons for Walking Street and Gay Streets and especially Sunee. The lows are much lower for Gay Streets IMHO. I also believe big difference in the acceptability of things charged. I'm pretty sure off fees on Walking Street are much higher then Gay Venues. Drink prices are much lower on Walking Street. I have no idea what the relative rents are or what it costs to pay off the police. So there are lots of new things for him to learn but at least he knows how to run a Bar which is a step up from some recent other failures who had no idea how to run a Bar.

So to answer my own question. The owner is Danish and owns a Lady GoGo Bar on Walking Street. So at least we know he understands how to run a Bar. One poster said he is paying boys 8000 baht per month. If that is true and continues, he will have an endless supply of boys. Maybe A447a this is the start of revamping of Sunee and attracting the Chinese with well run Bars and willing boys . However the true indication will be when April arrives until next December.

There are lots of positive reports on Winner over on Gaybutton especially this weekend. I don't think anyone has mentioned where the owner is from? So far he seems to be able to recruit new boys and has many Happy customers both because of the boys and the very low drink prices. It will be interesting to see what happens as the newness wears off and inevitably the prices go up. High season will soon be over and then the true test will begin . I wish him nothing but luck. If he can make it work there are plenty of empty spots for others to try.

I am constantly amazed in this thread and others where members are quite happy to pile on Viet boys in BKK for lack of service and yet we have some members who have taken the time and have cultivated good relationships. I see no difference between Viet boys and boys from Jupiter in these discussions. It is obvious a high % are not gay and thus will offer less service then most boys especially if you want a Bottom who sucks and kisses. If you know upfront that it is unlikely you will be rewarded with the type of visit you like then just don't off those types. I was a slow learner with Jupiter and would never waste my time there again. The only experience I have with Viet boys are in Hanoi and I found them just as willing as most boys in Thailand. At some point I would guess some Gay Viet boys will come to BKK to make money. I guess the question is if that happened will they be welcomed by the straight Viet Boys who are already there?
