You have to be very unlucky to have had such problems in NRT. I have been through there 20 times in the last 5 years and it has never taken me more then 20 minutes and in most cases 10 minutes or less. The 150,000 seems like a lot for your award ticket. I assume it was not a Low Award??

Unfortunately now I have reports from someone living in KhoSan area and he is afraid enough to move his family out of there last night for a few nights hopefully. Way too many gun shots for him to feel comfortable living 1 block away from the demonstrations. Hopefully it will be contained but continues to be a black eye for Thailand around the world.

Looking forward to continued reports. We might even get a photo of BF??

I am hearing from friends that it is bad in BKK in the KhoSan area where there have been deaths and injures by gunshots. Anyone there with on the ground reports??

Press in other countries are vested in making stories bigger then they are. Just make your trip, most likely you will have no problems.

He has all the specialists with him if you need. He is general dentistry and will never do anything you don't really need and will take plenty of time to explain and show you. I have no hesitation to recommend him highly in all aspects.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to and his prices are competitive. Unfortunately I have seen many dentists in my life so I know the difference. It does not get any better then Dr Tapasit. He was a Bangkok Pattaya for a long time and then opened his own practice. Lived in New Jersey many years so his English is perfect. 10 minutes on the Pattaya 2 Road baht bus.

Great trip reports Vinapu and any time you can put evil thoughts in the head of Anonone you have accomplished something. Now it is Anonones's turn to pick up the story telling and I will return in 24 days. By then Anonone should be able to tell me which 2 boys from Vassa work well together. It should not be hard to understand that this is not a message board like most or all of the other sites. This is a real website with lots of information for many people who have no interest in the message board. That being the case then it follows that you would think the site looks cluttered. However for the vast majority of visitors, they appreciate all the information provided and if they are interested in reading message boards only then they certainly have other choices as do you where there is less clutter. That being said speaking in generalizations mean next to nothing. If you have a specific website that you think looks better because of certain coloring etc then please name it . Then Scooby can at least look t it and see if your sweeping comments have any facts behind them. Since I regularly visit and post on the other Boards , I am unable to see your point but am certainly open to you providing something for me to look at which I may have missed.

I love the SEA flights to NRT and they have just made GPU.'s for IK's worthless . I love customs and immigration at SEA as well as the compact airport. Now it is back to DL for me and their worthless mileage program and award search engine.

What do you mean by long time. overnights or multi days?

The CC companies have become so good at advising you of charges I no longer worry when out of the country. I pick one card such as Chase which has no foreign transaction fees. Then I select alert to my email any time card is used. I use it anywhere and within seconds I get an alert email that card has been used . Once in awhile I will get an alert asking me to confirm the charge which they have temporarily approved . You can also have the alerts go to your phone but since I am never without 4g wherever I travel I find the email alert to be sufficient. I set my iPhone to alert me to any emails and all worries CC fraud have been removed. Now ATM machines are something additional to worry about!!

A story most of us have experienced and will again. You made the best of it and move on which is all you can do. Hope you give Pattaya a chance. Certainly not there for the farangs and I am sure you can find your type and have some successful encounters. Good Luck!

It is still directed to you even if you are not in Thailand all the time, you are a frequent visitor. And when a frequent visitor complains about the posts because his favorite poster is gone , and yet provides minimal if any new posts on the Board then I think he should consider starting some original posts instead of expecting everyone else to do it for him. And if he does not feel like starting posts then that is cool but don't complain about the lack of interesting posts ( in his opinion).
