Your straight friend won't have any problem. 3 minute walk from the Main Gay area to the Lady GoGo"s. I DON'T THINK ANYONE HAS EVER BEEN ARRESTED as long as their boy was 18 and be sure of it. I lived in Montreal for 6 years and some of the GoGo boys will meet you at your Hotel for the right price but definitely not all of them . But of course your age and looks could make quite a difference for the Gay Boys (many are not) $80 can get you some very nice Hotels and you can get more then adequate Hotels for considerably less. Suggest you look at Booking.com and Silom area.

You only have 2 weeks so 2 destinations are the most you should try to do. Bangkok and Pattaya are your 2 best destination since SEX is a large component of your trip. Bangkok is just a great city and Pattaya has lots of boys. Abang is right if you are young and cute you will not have to pay but for some there is a thrill to paying for what you want. Probably you can count on both happening to you. Need to correct you about legality. Prostitution is not legal in Thailand or Brazil. it is looked on with a blind eye as it is in most of the world. As far as where to stay, it is impossible to answer without knowing your budget?

I'll repeat what I said again. Great for you people whose flights arrive daytime. When your flight arrives 1130 at night, your choices are limited to Pattaya for sure and taxis are your only logical choice to BKK. European visitors can save some money by taking buses etc but a large % USA travelers go through Tokyo and those flights all arrive late at night.

Great when you are traveling with a backpack. Not so good when you have a 50lb suitcase plus smaller computer case.

Beaches are great but don't make up for the expensive prices and small Gay Scene IMHO. Everyone should visit but if you want great beaches take a boy from Pattaya and go to Hua Hin . Great beaches at a fraction of the prices and just a 2500 baht Limo ride from Pattaya. There is a very small Gay scene in Hua Hin but you only need one if you are just going for a few days.

Depends what you are looking for. If you like young twinks and you want them available to you 24 hours a day then there is nothing that compares with it. Beaches suck but plenty of good restaurants and nice places to stay. Also a lot of great Late Night Discos for you younger guys. Would I visit if you took the 24 hour boys away. Definitely Not!! I love BKK and lived there for 2 years but it is harder to get around at certain times and boys are harder to connect with online. Also certain months it is much hotter and more humid. If money was no object I would live in BKK and travel to Pattaya on weekends. I am not a beach guy, much rather have a nice pool.

As far as Michael relating his spending on a trip. Like many I find it interesting but I know Michael. How many of the people criticizing his spending come to Thailand for months at a time and need to work 12 hours a day during the time he is here. Completely different then someone coming here only for fun. Naturally he needs a nice place with extremely good internet , service etc. He should work 12 hours a day in some 1000 baht room. I think not!! I come for a month at a time and only for fun and when I am in Pattaya I am staying in a beautiful Studio Apartment overlooking the Beach with fast internet , large showers with Rain showers, 50" inch TV's and complete kitchens. Western mattresses etc and depending on the season that costs me 1500-2000 baht per day. That is less then many pay for dives in Pattaya and yes I include Boystown Hotels which are dives compared to where I stay. I have a fabulous pool, cheap restaurants and cheap laundries in the building. So I have no problem spending a little extra from time to time ,on the reason I am here in the first place. THE BOYS!!!

This is the most ridiculous comment I have ever seen and naturally it comes from someone who has almost no posts. I wonder if you would be posting about someone who tries to pay less then the going rate when the boy is desperate because the rent is due. I can assure you there are many visitors who take delight in only giving the boys 500 baht. They spent thousands of dollars for air tickets, Hotels, Taxis , restaurants etc and their goal is to give the boys who give them so much pleasure the equivalent of $15 US. Despicable!!! In addition if you were capable of reading my posts you would see that I don't generally pay over the going rate but am not afraid to reward a boy when he has gone above and beyond normal performance! As far as many money boys going up in their demands 95% of the boys ask for the same amount that I have been giving for the last 15 years. To suggest otherwise shows only that you are ignorant or the Classic Cheap Charlie!!!

That would only be asked by someone who travels little and stays in inexpensive hotels. I want to know how strong the WIFi and consistent. I want to know if room service is fairly priced and the food and service acceptable. I want to know if the walls are thin and I want to know what side of the Hotel might be best to have a room. I want to know if the included breakfast is good and if not included how expensive it might be. And many other things that I can get by spending 10 minutes reading reviews. Well worth my time!!!

Totally different at your price point! When you are willing to spend a fair amount of money on Hotels , research is imperative!!

I find Trip Advisor very useful . They have rarely let me down all over Europe, South Africa and Asia. It helps to look beyond the basic list of reviews and look for reviews by people who have posted many reviews in many different locations. More likely those reviews will be real guests. Also I look for responses by management to anything negative. This tells you a lot about how much management cares . Possibly better for 4 and 5 star properties but used in conjunction with reviews on booking .com where you must have had a reservation with them and actually stayed there, you can get a good idea about the Hotel. Vinapu for the most part ,here everyone is also a stranger and I give no more credence to their recommendations on Hotels then any other site. I think you look at as many review sites as possible and you will get useful information. Not perfect but some help in decision making.

Back home after 27 hours. Just a few general thoughts on BKK. It was nice to see it without tent cities, barricades , loud speakers etc and unruly crowds. Don't pretend to really understand the politics but I understand how nice it was to have the Bangkok back that I always enjoy. Yes the traffic can be terrible but it truly is a great city irrespective of all the spectacular boys available. I saw only 3 boys in the 6 days I was there . Two I had seen before and one new one. I had lots of opportunities on Gayromeo and Jack'd but frankly tired myself out in 23 days in Pattaya. Anyways I'll be back in October and hopefully the members who promised me they would post on their trips will do so for all of us to enjoy!!

Pretty sure it is an individual thing. My favorite in Pattaya this time I gave him 1500 extra our last session as a bonus. He was so appreciative that I hated myself for not giving him more. I went to the ATM later in the days and got some more and called him up and asked him to come over to say good bye. He was at my door in 10 minutes . I gave him the extra and told him I would see him in October. His reaction was all you could want . It really is not that much money for me but for him it means a lot. He was worth every baht and pro-rated over the 10 times I saw him , it amounts to quite an increase in per session cost but I left town feeling really good because I made him so happy.

Good advice on both sides .. If he had answered me during the past 4 months or given me any indication of remembering me then I guess would be more likely to agree to his demands since life is short and my trip is over in 1 day. But there are other boys who are also very good and available for 1/2 the price of his new requested rate. Last trip when I saw him it did cross my mind that he certainly would be worth considering for BF if I decided to look for one. Bottom line my favorite in Pattaya this trip is every bit as good in bed as this kid and so appreciative of what I pay him and the small bonus I gave hime when I left Pattaya. I won't see the Bangkok boy again and will wait until October for my Pattaya Boy. Hopefully he will still be there! If not there will be another I am sure. Oh and by the way it rained in BKK tonight just when I entered the Night Market for a few purchases. I had intended to check out GC and at least walk down Soi Twilight. It just was not worth the effort in the rain. So I came back to my nice room , went to the Executive Lounge for some nice snacks and checked my computer and there was a message on Gayromeo.. Cute boy who I had been talking with who said he could come over . For me this was another very cute one that I wanted to see and so I told him to come over. I will post 2 photos from his ad . I told him he must look like pics because I was suspicious the photos might be a few years old. Well he looked exactly like the photos and was very good in bed and excellent English. He told me he was saving for his Bday Party in 2 weeks that he wanted to have with his friends. Take a look at the photos and tell me how old you think he is. No prizes just satisfaction if you can guess his age?

Surpise. The boy I met on my last night which I said was such a sexual animal and why did have to be on my last night. I had 2 different emails for him, his telephone number and his Gayromeo account. I fully intended to have this boy come to Pattaya for an extended stay. But shortly after his gayromeo account came down and he did not answer either email account. One week before this trip I started sending texts to his number with no replies. I figured he got a BF or whatever. He answered one text while I was in Pattaya and it was "Who is This". Easy to forget an old farang he saw 1 1/2 times. Then out of the blue I get a text "Do you want to meet" Well sure same Hotel what time. He said 11am. He was 35 minutes late but still is a sexual animal. Unfortunately at the end he asked for more money then I gave him before.. The amount I gave him was the most I ever paid for short time in Thailand. I told him no but he kept pressing for meet when we meet the next day. I think I will be sick tomorrow because he is too money hungry for me. Too bad because he is so much fun in Bed. Evidently a full time student and just had no time for Gayromeo. But you never know what the real story might be?? Anyways he let me take some fun photos and I hope you enjoy. hehehe

Well did a little errands on Silom. Went to Cutey and Beauty for a pedicure. The only place where when I say short they cut them short. Only a few boys on the street in front of Massage joints and nothing cute so I went on Gayromeo and found a boy that I have seen both in Pattaya and Bangkok. Think he now lives full time in BKK. Set a time and he was i the Lobby of my Hotel 5 minutes early. He ticks all the boxes with me. Deep good kisser, sucks great and loves to get Fucked in all positions and especially on his back so he can deposit a nice load on his chest. hehehehe Photo should show what I mean.
