Funny Boys Gogo Bar on Pattayland Soi 3 (Boyztown )
firecat69 replied to williewillie's topic in Gay Pattaya
I know Vinapu but you just don't have 15 years of history to draw on. It is a pitiful resemblance of its former self regardless whether it had a few boys you liked. Only Boys had more boys on a nightly basis then they did and it went on for years. -
Supersonic oh why are we so backward. Planes take longer to fly now then 50 years ago. Planes are a little bit faster (very little) but all the other delays are much worse. I think the most I ever did was 4 per year . No idea how you can do one every other month, What happens when you run out of miles for upgrades?

It is really recent that it has gone downhill. Once Rose left it quickly slid to hardly worth stopping in. Rose easily the best Mamasan in Pattaya and for a very extended period of time. Just shows how important management is!! -
Actually Narai Hotel is famous for that and one of the few Hotels in BKK that could care less!!

Spell check failed me again. hehehehehe But in this case I think Apple IOS just inserted the latest word I used starting out with the and I missed it.

If you had been a poster here longer you would realize Christian is quick to make fun of others when they spell a word wrong even though it might be there 2nd or 3rd language. What is good for the Goose is good for the Gander!

I don't believe you'll find the word inacceptable in any dictionary except to point out that the correct word is unacceptable!

I like Siam Paragon better. Not so spread out!

Easiest thing to do . Jump in a taxi for 35 baht and 3 minutes to close to the Siam BTS station where you will find many many restaurants of all types open. Of course you will have many choices for sandwiches etc before leaving the airport.
-
Pretty sure there are fast food restaurant less then a 10 minute walk from you.

Place has been a Dump for more years then I'd like to remember. They really had balls trying to charge 250 baht when there were more GoGo Boys in every other single Bar. I'm sure the rent is high and only someone who likes to lose money would even consider it. But you know what they say "Sucker born every Minute"

Thailand's anti-graft body on Thursday launched impeachment proceedings against 250 ex-lawmakers, the majority from the toppled ruling party of Yingluck Shinawatra, in a move that could be a bodyblow to her family's political network. If the junta-picked National Legislative Assembly (NLA) votes for impeachment the former MPs will be banned from politics for five years, eviscerating the political base of the Shinawatra clan whose parties have swept every Thai election since 2001. The National Anti-Corruption Commission says a 2013 attempt by Yingluck's Peau Thai party to tweak the kingdom's charter to make the upper house a fully elected chamber was unconstitutional. "The NACC decided to file case to the NLA to impeach 250 MPs who signed up to support charter amendment because they intended to breach the 2007 constitution," the anti-graft body said in a statement. The decision came just hours after the NLA voted not to impeach 38 former senators over the same issue, initially appearing to lessen the likelihood of the NACC pressing ahead with impeachment proceedings for the lawmakers. As yet there is no date set for the assembly to vote on the impeachment. View gallery Thai army soldiers take positions outside the army auditorium where prominent figures including form … Thailand's junta says it was forced to take power in May last year to restore order after months of street protests against Yingluck's government. Critics say those protests were choreographed to prod an army intervention on behalf of the Thai elite, who accuse the Shinawatra clan of poisoning Thai politics with money and nepotism. Peau Thai member Amnuay Klangpa told AFP that 160 party members were in the firing line after the NACC decision. "I am confident they cannot impeach us because MPs had the right to amend the constitution and all processes were carried out within the law," he added. Retroactive impeachment has already been brought down on Yingluck -- the younger sister of billionaire former premier Thaksin Shinwatra -- over her role in a bungled rice subsidy scheme. She also faces criminal prosecution carrying up to 10 years in jail over the scheme, which funnelled cash to her family's rural support base. Thailand's political landscape has been battered by nearly a decade of violent street protests, coups and legal manoeuvres leaving the country deeply divided. Thaksin sits at the heart of the kingdom's political rupture after sweeping the 2001 polls with his pledge to represent Thailand's poor and drive the nation's economy. Thaksin was toppled by a 2006 coup and now lives in self-exile to avoid jail on a corruption charge. His sister Yingluck was ousted by a court decision eight years later, weeks before the latest coup knocked out the remnants of her government.

I have been there many times in June. It is hot but the showers are short. If you want beaches, you might try Hua Hin. I have friends that have been there who love it and the beaches are gorgeous and a short ride from BKK. I'll take a pool with a jacuzzi over the beach anytime. Beach is nice to look at but unless you like to snorkel, I'd rather be at a pool. From what I am reading there should be great Hotel deals in June and I agree, I never worry about having someone join me. I have never been stopped and have been in at least 30 hotels in BKK from 3-5 Star. Since I'm not big on massages BKK has fallen in its appeal to me except at the end of the trip for 3 or 4 nights. Don't get me wrong I love BKK. Lived there for over 2 years but I love using Social Media sites for hook ups and this is considerably more difficult in BKK then Pattaya.

Well there is a difference when the USA sticks its nose in and creates removing the bums in power and when the people actually do it. Plus Iraq has never really been a country. It was a make believe country of disparate factions that have nothing in common. Iran on the other hand has actually been a country for thousands of years although with different names. A rich history and culture . Yes they somehow got the Mullahs when the Shah was deposed but I still think the time will come when the educated young people will take back the country and do the same thing to the Mullahs that their parents did to the Shah. Which is why the sanctions should have never been lifted and in fact should have been increased until the bums were thrown out. God I hate agreeing with the Idiot Republicans!

They are getting killed financially and Putin runs the polls, so they are worthless! Some of the old people from Soviet Union days may like what he is doing but I don't imagine the young people who like to travel and buy Western Goods appreciating his misdeeds. Big difference between mouthing that you like him and meaning it . After all the secret police are in full damage control. Same thing in Iran, if you eliminated the Secret Police the mullahs would be overthrown in 2 weeks. Obama has made a lot of mistake but his biggest IMHO was not speaking out when the young people were rioting in Tehran. We might have gotten rid of those bums in power!

Crappy climate from a guy who is currently Freezing his Ass off? hehehhehehee -
As usual it becomes less and lees attractive to give all your business to 1 airline or 1 Hotel chain. They just keep devaluing the points and taking away the benefits. I have scratched both DL and UA off my list and will use them to get my free flights and once those points are gone then just the best deal coupled with the best service and it may change every trip. Loyalty is no longer appreciated!!

Last I checked they have movie theaters in the USA, even Atlanta. Don't you have them in Toronto?

I guess I don't read the right Monk news sources?

1. Of course it is a true statement. But it depends where you are. Doubt it is true in Pattaya. Also depends what your definition of a money boy is? Does someone who has a real job but goes on Gayromeo often and accepts money for Sex qualify as a money boy . If so no doubt #1 does not apply to Pattaya. 2. Stupid statement and big deal. I have travelled to 67 countries and have experienced or seen this in many of them. 3. Of course this is true and is self evident to anyone with a brain. Do you think those plane loads of couples and their families are coming for the Sex Business. I don't know anyone who regularly comes to Thailand or lives here who have not visited , Temples, beaches etc etc . Bottom line no one but an idiot would suggest that Thailand is just about Sex and we don't need a magazine article to tell us that. 4. Most generalized statements are incorrect. If anyone with intelligence read this statement before printing it they would have changed it to "Most Ladyboys are not untrustworthy thieves". Unfortunately in Pattaya you would be hard pressed to go many days in Pattaya without reading a police report of thievery by Ladyboys. But I don't doubt that most Ladyboys are not thieves especially in Thailand as a whole. 5. Who in the world would think that Internet Forums are the fount of all knowledge. No more so then a publication where everything is written by one individual who does think he is the Fount of all knowledge. The difference is in a Forum you get discussions where different points of view are discussed and the readers get a wide range of views. No such thing happens in Mr Barnes magazine. He decides what is right and wrong and relays the news to everyone. Now to you Christian. Of course many people and in fact probably most gay visitors do not participate in the Forums as posters but may have gotten some information prior to their visit. You know someone who has beer for breakfast. Big Deal Mr. Barnes phrased in a way that some would think it is a normal occurrence by Gay ex pats. No one said there was anything wrong with taking advertisements from Venues that sell Sex but rather it is disingenuous to disparage those same people who spend money in those establishments in the same Magazine. And now you Christian. I find it hilarious that a young in shape Farang like yourself is supportive of Mr Barnes when you are a frequent user of money boys and the establishments and websites who make the hook ups possible. Possibly you'd like to explain yourself to Mr Barnes. Because to me there is little difference between you and the ex pats who Mr. Barnes disparages.
