That is exactly my point. I give no credence to negative opinions from posters who have spent little or no time in a location. I prefer to get my opinions from posters who have spent numerous days and multiple trips in a location. In that case posters like Irish and a447 are posters who I would look to for opinions. If I was a first time visitor to BKK then I would look to posters such as you for pluses and minuses especially in regards to massage parlors. You certainly made it plain in the past that you had no desire to visit Pattaya probably based on 1 sided comments by people in person or on Boards such as this. Yet you not only continue to return but have increased the number of days you spend in Pattaya. So it is totally ridiculous for you to continue to say Pattaya is a waste of time and money. Now to be clear if you had spent 5 days in Seminyak and had attended all the Bars and had spent multiple hours in bed with Indo boys then I would certainly have given credence to your comments. That does not represent your experience and thus , those comments and comments from posters who have never been there are useless at least to me. When I am looking to visit a new location , I am looking for the relative weight from reviews by many sources as to whether I want to spend my time and money there. For instance in Hotel reviews I give much more weight to Booking.com reviews because it is impossible to post a review until you have paid your bill and checked out. Thus no reviews from competitors or posters who have never been to that Hotel. In the case of Seminyak there are so many positive reviews of the Town from multiple sites as to the beaches, restaurants , sightseeing etc and the fact that of course it happens to be a Top destination for visitors from Australia. As to strictly Gay Activities , there are much less valuable sources for that info and thus Boards like this and Sawatdee etc , hopefully provide some insight .

Pretty clear that everyone has a different level of what they consider loud. My point is that if you go to a show , you can expect there will be music and some people will think it is loud and others will not. It is my experience that most of the comments I have seen complaining about Loud music especially in Pattaya have not necessarily had anything to do with shows but just loud music. If I wanted to waste my time I could find many posts about bars like Nice Boys etc in Pattaya where posters here and other Forums complain about the Loud Music. Last time I checked there were no shows at these Bars. Yet those same posters regularly go to those Bars . Why because they offer something despite the loud music and thus Shows in Bali, if the music is actually loud in reality instead of in ones imagination can only be determined by someone who has actually attended.

As usual making assumptions with no basis is dangerous. According to numerous reviews of the Gay Bars on Trip Advisor , the shows start from10pm. Anyone care to find a show in Pattaya or Bangkok that starts much before 10pm or mostly later.. Pretty sure most are later . Shows by definition have loud music , if you don't like music you don't go to shows. Really pretty simple. Does appear certain Bars allow smoking , Gee none of the Bars in Thailand allow that! Right!! Seems to be pretty similar in those respects. I choose to go with Irish and A447 on other Boards that Bali is a lot of fun and completely different from Thailand. That is the point of going to a new place. I tend to discount comments by people who spent 1 or 2 days in a Location and have nothing but negative comments. Certainly I can find many comments like that about Pattaya etc ( some from esteemed members here) before they visited and now magically they keep returning every trip.

Have a great trip and keep us updated. If you have a favorite Lube you can pack it in checked luggage . Availability sucks in Thailand especially if you like silicone. If you are carrying on luggage then bottle of no bigger then 100 ml.

As far as availability of non twinks. Here are photos of a boy on Hornet who seems very willing and I believe would satisfy Willie and Vinapu at least in the looks department. There are many more so as Irish said plenty of choices for everyone>

Well I forget some street names but the large Hotel on the corner of Pattaya 2 and the Road that leads to Sunee? If the Arabs were not drunk they sure acted like it. Maybe VC Hotel . I rarely look in the Escort section in Asia, just go to regular profiles. My interest was peaked by the many boys especially on Hornet and to a lesser extent Jack'd. Response is good and conversation easy because of their abilities in English. I found responses at Romeo much slower then Hornet and Jack'd because boys only seem to check in every 2 or 3 days.. Reviews of Gay Bars are extremely positive even on non -gay sites. Does not appear to be much not to like and comments from Irish and A447 on other sites leads me to believe it is a good destination. For Willie there appears to be many muscular boys available on the same site.

Vinapu I am confused. In one sentence you lump Kuta and Seminyak together and in the last sentence you say "Fuck Kuta" I would guess since there was not a scene with a massage parlor on every corner , it was not a favorite destination for you. Since Irish says he has far more money left in his pocket after a visit to Seminyak then does in Pattaya that flies in the face of your comment that everyone is out to fleece you. Also there are respected posters on other Forums who have the same experiences as Irish in that the boys are not driven by Money in the way that Thai boys are. That has been my perception from some conversations I have had but there are also some boys who do mention money. Willie although in Thailand I am rarely out after midnight it appears that you are right , that it does start later then Thailand. I certainly do not like Drunks but I have a feeling that Drunkin Aussies are far better then Drunk Arabs, Russians and Chinese. Just a thought. Frankly I have seen enough Temples for a lifetime all over Asia and have little interest. I am quite sure the beaches in Seminyak are far better then Pattaya and from what I read equal to some of the better beaches in Thailand that in most cases have no boys. Since Social Media seems to be very popular, I am quite sure the late night Bars will not be the only places to find willing boys. Vinapu's description of locals looking to short change or cheat you certainly applies to Phuket, BKK in tourist areas such as the Palace etc. If you do your planning and talk to people who have been there you minimize the chance of you being taken advantage of. At any rate I am hopeful more members who have been there will chime in with their experiences??

Thanks Irish. When they asked how much in $US, I just translated baht to dollars and thus 1000 baht = $30US and that is where I went. I was just trying to get a feel for the market. I did have one Muscle Guy ask for 2 Million Rup and I just told him Good Luck and erased him from memory. hehe I am looking forward to the differences which I sensed just like you. I think it may be that they are comfortable in English and thus relaxed having a conversation. Anyways any suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated as I look forward to something new.

Thanks for the info. Could care less about Nudity in Bars so that's ok. Prices appear to be reasonable. Did you pay boys in AUD or local currency. Have you been to MSpa which sounds and looks nice? Couple of boys asked me how much in US$. They seemed to be fine with $30-40 short time and $50-70 all night. Is that about what you have found?

Back home and planning a trip for next year. First 1/2 of year will be probably mostly Tourist stuff. Back to Cape Town which is my favorite place in the world ( no idea about Boys) and then Stockholm, Kracow, Copenhagen and Brussels. Might fit in some boys in Kracow and Brussels. 2nd half of year will be back to Asia. I plan on starting in Bali, Seminyak in particular. M Despite my aggravation with being responsible for hi-jacking my own thread , I really am not trying to punish anyone . I really have 3 boys I am quite happy to rotate through for the next 2 weeks. I am not looking for anything new . I finally realize I am too old for the pace I had been keeping. Since those boys have already been reported on, there is nothing for me to report. Merely a statement of fact that you have seldom posted and then in my erroneous assumption that you were quoting Forky as though he was the first to say that. I am not silly enough to think that there are not readers and even members who grind the boys for everything they can. There are also many readers looking for information on what they should tip. I doubt there is anyone here that has the nerve to admit they offer the boys 300 baht. But in fact there are and my rant was to point out how despicable they are in my opinion and hopefully limit new visitors from acting the same way. If members do not originate posts then the Board dies and if members rarely ever comment on the posts members have started then again the Board dies. Do I think that members such as Vinapu, Z909, Willie, Myself and many others are more important then someone who occasionally posts a comment on someone else's thread. Of douse I do. Let those members put themselves out there by starting threads and seeing where they go and keep them going despite not agreeing with all the comments. It is a lot easier to throw an occasional comment and then disappear for months then it is to be an active participant on the Board.

OK I'm back for 1 post because the idiocy that some people post is just amazing. Fat Richard who hardly ever posts says Forky123 pointed out that I de-railed my own thread. Try reading the thread carefully before commenting. I posted clearly that I hi-jacked my own thread . Forky pointed out what I already said. Then he said I was taken to task. Well if 2 comments among many favorable ones is being taken to task then I guess I must really mis-understand the English Language. Not to mention the number of PM's I got in support. Also it is fair to comment on moving posts and closing posts. IMHO I started the post and all comments made by anybody were the result of my posts whether about boys with photos or about after when I choose to bring up the problem of Cheap Charlies. Pretty sure that is why Scooby agreed with me and closed the thread. I made it plain to him I would not be adding to it. Not out of disdain for any comments made but because I will have nothing to add. I have settled into 3 boys and am not looking for anyone else and will not have any future reports this trip. Enough is Enough. I have had it. I have had enough of people equating the boys with bargaining for a tee shirt in the market. I have had enough of people trying to find excuses for cheap pricks. Suggesting that maybe the offers came from Thais or it is Low Season so Boy has to accept his fate and wait for better times. This from people who I assume work for a living in a country more prosperous then Thailand and who I doubt get paid different wages according to the month. In fact I sat and read through multiple messages to my friend offering insulting money . They did not come from people from Bangladesh . or Thailand . They came from people from Germany and UK and other Western countries. There were a couple from it appeared retired farangs living in Thailand. He has had 55 replies since he posted my photos. Many from people who say they are coming in October or November and want to meet. If they actually come most seem to know what the rates are. But 15 offers from people all over the world and currently in Thailand trying to get SEX for 400 baht. And in fact 2 offered 300 baht and when he said No countered at 400 Baht. Disgusting is the only word for it. Apparently I am wasting my time here because some are in denial and some do not have 15 years of experiences I have. I used to go to dinner with groups of farangs and watch them spend 500 baht or more stuffing their faces and then leaving 20 baht for a tip. I have watched them ask a Boy to sit with them in a Bar, not buy them a drink and then proud of themselves for giving them 20 baht. These are the same people that offer the boys 300 or 400 baht. I have no doubt some of them are members here and may not post but lurk and read for information. After all it is free and that is what they like best. Now as sad as that comment is I recognize that there are many members here who appreciate the boys and treat them fairly and sometimes even generously. But some of those same members still have thrown out suggestions equating a Boy saying No to 400 with them saying no to 3000. This just boggles my mind that anyone could consider the two circumstances in any way similar. I am tired and I hi-jacked my own thread . What started out to be one of my fun trip reports has turned into a miserable back and forth for me. I have 23 days left and I will not post again this trip. Since it is my thread I have already asked Scooby to close it and hopefully he will soon do that. By the way my friend is on a Bus at 5a m to BKK to get his mother who has a Birthday and who has never been to Pattaya. Since he has a pretty nice room and a job that starts in 5 days, he wants her to see where he lives. He does plan on supplementing his income from Gayromeo when some decent visitors offer him the appropriate amount. For all the members here who never or rarely post but just look for information. Think about the reason you come here. Once you have been to the Palace, Temples etc you are here for the Boys. Every meeting you have will not be exceptional but in most cases you will be satisfied by boys who put up with our age, bodies etc and most times do it with a smile. There may be a few places in the world where the price is similar but nowhere with the broad selection and choices of Massage, Sauna, GoGo Bars, Beer Bars Social Media etc . Consider yourself lucky. It is why many of you travel thousands of miles . It dos not hurt to think of the Boys as Human beings and treat them fairly and with respect. Pay them at least the accepted minimum amount and a little extra once in awhile if you feel they deserve it. I am done posting this trip. See you next time.
