I have also stayed there. A bit pricy but interesting rooms and nice staff and pool. Good Location. They will ask for boys ID and return it when he leaves after calling your room. As I have mentioned before Booking.com is the best place for real reviews even if you do not book there. No review can be posted unless you made a reservation with Booking and checked out. Much more reliable vs TripAdvisor where anyone can post multiple reviews as long as they have multiple email addresses etc.

The commotion is about someone who continuously disparages skinny boys, fem boys. ladyboys and any terms that refer to the same . He would like to see nothing but photos of masculine, straight , older muscle boys. He would like to see only descriptions that refer to the same type. Don't pay any attention to Fossil. Best of my memory he has never contributed anything to this Forum as an OP. Only comments on what others post. In other words who cares what he says. Keep posting , we all enjoy it . His one big thing is questioning Gap and what was spent. I pretty much devalued that comment. Just to further devalue it I just checked in todays ads in the USA for Gap at the Outlet Malls where those 3 things could easily be bought for a total of $40 and thats before they put on them on the discount table at even further reduction. So it does not seem impossible to me that he spent 700 baht or even a little more. There are too many things in his writing that just can't be researched , but need to be experienced. Such as a Jomtien Boy not knowing about BT, walking Street etc . That has happened to me more then once on Hornet or Planetromeo where I told the boy where I was and he had no idea where that was or how to use the baht buses . Only choice was to meet him in Jomtien and take him back with me. There are many other instances in his writing that someone has to have experienced and cannot be researched. You need to take a walk down Beach Rd in the morning. Royal Garden is attached to the Marriott and if you walk further then you will come upon Central Festival. Lots of places for breakfast and in the morning you get to watch the shirtless boys set up the chairs etc. Actually a very pleasant walk at least for Pattaya.

Although I noticed the 700 baht Gap buy in the story, it did nothing to deter my enjoyment. First of all anyone who suggests he should do better research is just ridiculous. How many people even know there is a Gap in the Royal Garden Mall. And of those how many have ever entered. I do know it exists and have been in it once. As I remember they had tables with stuff discounted 70% and more . Is it possible he spent 700 or maybe 1700? Who cares. For me the point was that he loosened his wallet and bought the boy some new clothes . In other words treated him like a human being instead of a piece of meat. Something we should all endeavor to remember when we are in Thailand.

Depending on how you bought your phone, many are locked and you cannot just put in a new sim card when you travel to a different country.

Go into Central Festival Mall I believe Floor #4 and look for New Age ( I think thats the name. Absolutely reliable . His brother runs a store in TukCom. Come in main entrance, take escalator up 1 floor. Turn right and then left all the way to the back. Biggest stand and they supply most of the other stands . They have a bigger selection then Central Festival where his brother specializes in iPhones. You can dicker with him but probably you will pay more then your home country but at least you will know it is the real thing with complete warranty.

Lot cheaper to buy towels on the street and throw them away!

I will re echo my previous comments about how enjoyable your reports are . I do wonder since it is evident you do a lot of Hotel stays , why you are satisfied with 600 baht a day for Executive Lounge . A good customer with Marriott or Hilton gets all of that free plus breakfast . IHG seems to be a little cheap.

Never had to do it but if I did I would register the guest. And if I choose to have a different guest the next night that is none of their business, I would register him and if they didn't like it tell to refund my money. I think you have less then 10% of a chance to have a problem.

I have to think the money has been pretty poor in the Bars. XBoys rarely has that many customers and the Chinese sit on their wallets in Boyz. Of course it is possible the Bars pay them but I doubt it. Probably make much more on Walking street and maybe other countries.

You should just open a Line or Whatapp account and then make a video call to confirm the boy looks like the photos . They all have 1 or the other and if they say they don't it is safe to assume they don't want video call.

You might find what you are looking for on Planetromeo but you need to search in the Escort section. There are some stunners there and they tend to respond. It is easy to see when they were last online and many list their phone numbers.They hope you don't know what the going price is and will quote high but just negotiate. Of course Z909 is correct that you are probably out 3000 baht taking someone from Soi Twilight and you will probably spend that all night in the Escort section. Just make it clear they must look like photos! There are lots of boys looking for money in the regular section but for the most part they amateurs and much harder to hook up with in a city as big as Bangkok . In Pattaya it is so easy there is no reason to leave your room. As far as being afraid of mamasans, don't worry about it. Give your drink order and then when mamasan comes over shake your head no, They will go away. If you see a boy you like , make eye contact and invite him to sit with you. Boys know enough English to understand what role you want to play and for how long.If all else fails, sign language works. They understand 1500,2000 etc. HeHe

Just to re-comment on my Opinions on Jupiter. 8 offs over a 3year period . 7 abject failures and one soso. I was a slow learner! Will never go back again. If you want to see the show then go and buy 1 drink and then look for company in any other bar where you are likely to have a much better encounter and at less money! In multiple forums the Bar to get the most negative comments on offs over the last 10 years is easily Jupiter. Can you luck out ? Of course but why take the chance . You are already paying double in BKK that you would in Pattaya in most cases . You should maximize your chances of a successful off. Any other Gay Bar in BKK will give you a better chance. IMHO

I pretty much agree with what everyone said. Worth it at least one time for the boat trips, diving and beaches. GoGo Bars are slim and prices to get around patong exorbitant even if the trucks are clean. As far ay people being interested in your trip reports I can guarantee that we are interested. One of the things this Forum is great for are the many people who post their experiences and even those like myself and Vinapu who have been many times love reading about the experiences of others!

Christian you of all people should know that what a boy asks for and is willing to accept changes by the day. If the rent is due and he is broke he will accept less. If he just came off with 10,000 baht from a customer over a few days then the price he quotes is likely to be different. If the customer is 80 years old vs. 25 the price may be different. If it is 1am then different then 9pm. I venture to say prices have not changed on Soi Twilight in many years . 1500 is ST and 2000 for LT. Mamasans will try to tell you more but they want a cut from the boy. NEVER DEAL with MAMASANS which I'm sure you know. What Paulsf may have paid has nothing to do with what you will pay. Let's face it offing a boy for ST on Soi Twilight will cost at least 3000 baht. 1500 for Boy 760 for 2 drinks (or more) ,500 for off fee and a few tips. The chances that you will pay that based on your own posts and blog is slim, which is why of course it has been 2 years since you have. That is not a criticism because I will no longer pay that amount and that is assuming you found a Boy in the first Bar you entered. That is why the Bars on Soi Twilight are full of Asians. There is no doubt that you would not spend that amount on 1 boy nor will I any longer. That is why the Apps have become so popular and the reason many look for locations in BKK other then Soi Twilight or cities other then BKK. Also all that taken into account the question you asked should have been in a PM.
