Also I took the question to be more about GoGo Bars rather then massage parlors or Beer Bars which in reality are already underground. I doubt very much if your BF was in Bangkok you would seldom if ever go to Soi Twilight to socialize (at least in GoGo Bars) and yes you would probably go to Silom Soi 4 which of course would continue to exist.. Naturally nobody here wants the Gay Scene to become muted but unless Thai officials closed all the non Go Go Bars and massage parlors that will never happen. And the question was if it was muted would you continue to come and I am guessing most will continue to visit as long as boys are available. Massages are part of Thailand fabric so I can't see them ever going away just like I can't see Bars, Discos etc ever to be banned. GoGo Bars on the other hand could easily be driven out of business by the Government. The scene would become more like Jomtien or Soi 4 .

Vermont managed to get the minimum wage to $9.60 an hour while a number of states have already gotten it to $15 And since I lived in New Hampshire for 22 years , I am very familiar with rents and property prices in Vermont and $9.60 an hour will get you a tent to live in. I don't think it makes a bit of difference whether you live in Thailand or not . I have done both ,lived there for 30 months and travelled up to 4 times a year from the USA over a span of 15 years. I rarely drink alcohol so I don't need to go to a Bar for that . I used to attend the Bars on Soi Twilight 4-5 times a week during my 30 months but over time since my permanent residence have seen the prices more then double and the overall quality of the boys go down. Overall my days have lengthened in Pattaya vs. Bangkok and again there the prices have gone up but not as much but the Bars continue to disappear and especially quality Bars. Sunee is a joke compared to what it used to be and Boystown and the 2 adjacent Sois have also been completely diminished. FunnyBoys may not have had a show but it was easily the best run Bar for years. Yes I know Boyz has been brought back to some of its Former Glory by new owners but that is one of the few bright spots in Pattaya. There are lots of reasons for the decline but the fact is many boys hate the Bars and find it much easier to use the various Apps. I also find it easier and many times get the same boy I would have got if I went to 4 bars and spent 1500-2000 baht just for drinks in Pattaya and easily 3000 in BKK . I also have a much greater pool of boys to select from on the Apps then ever existed in the Bars. With lots of practice I rarely don't end up with a boy who looks exactly like the photos and it does not have to be at 9pm or later. Now I understand that some people enjoy drinking alcohol and for them the bars are a necessity. Who wants to drink by themselves in their room especially when on a short vacation. If I was a drinker, I have far nicer Bars with much better drinks in my home country (not many with Boys). Also I lived 6 years in Montreal where during the time I was there had far better GoGo Bars then Thailand ever imagined and yes I spent lots of time in them but since that time Apps have exploded. This was a long explanation of why for me it would makes no difference. After visiting all the Temples and numerous cities in Thailand , I have no interest in being a tourist. I come for one reason, Sex, and that is easily available 24 hours a day without leaving my very nice apartment and at a cost that is a fraction of what it would cost me in North America. So if the Bars get shutdown, there will just be even more boys for me to pick from on the Apps.

The 200,000 price makes me think it is a motorcycle rather then motorbike because $6000 seems a lot for those scooters . Also all the dealers are happy to sell to Bar Boys if they have an adequate down payment. 1 missed payment and they take the bike back and boy loses his down payment. Talk about scams!!!

Sanders might be more honest and even have more integrity but he has accomplished ZERO in all the years he has spent in Washington. Not a single Bill passed with his name on it. And as such a loud voice for a raise in the minimum wage, he comes from a state that has one of the lowest and once again in 40 years he has accomplished nothing . He captured the imagination of a bunch of young mostly students who wanted all the free stuff he promised and other then go to a rally could in many cases not be bothered to vote. In this regard he and Trump are alike , they confuse people who come to a rally with voters. By November 8 they will both realize that those people are in many cases to lazy to vote. As far as Vinapu's note about women running the government. I can't wait until she is President because men have been screwing up the world for years and I doubt a qualified women can do worse!!

Sanders had his day in the sun and there will be no more for him. Like Trump he confused big crowds at rallies with votes. Hilary is not perfect but during 8 years in the Senate she had respect from almost all Republicans. She knows how to work across the aisle and how to use the White House to smuzze with the opposite party. There are big things that need to get done and hopefully some of those things will happen. At any rate it has to be better then the last 4 years especially if they get the Senate back.

I agree wholeheartedly that this is along with previous reports by Numazu the best reports ever on this Forum. The detail is amazing and brings the story to life. I also agree there is much to appreciate in Asia and many other parts of the world as well other then our home countries.

The short version is in Pattaya short time is 1000 and all night is 1500 and naturally a little extra is appreciated. There are of course exceptions where certain Stars will ask for more and you will have to decide. BKK it is 1500 and 2000 and again there are exceptions and again 1-200 extra is always appreciated , That is not to say some mama sans will not try to make you think the rates are higher so they can scam money from the boys. But if you stand your ground they will accept. Even in BKK there are exceptions on the low side such as Golden Cock and other non Soi Twilight Bars.

No. You are wrong. In this case it depends on the history of the member whose remarks created the discussion. . When that person has a history of derogatory remarks against types he does not like , then the responses have more to do with person who made the disparaging remarks . Especially when most of the comments subsequently have been of a more understanding nature.

There is a big difference between commenting and disparaging remarks.
