We will have to wait and see. I am quite sure he will get a massive infrastructure bill which he will force the Republicans to swallow . It will be basically the same sort of bill Obama tried to get for 6 years and was blocked by the do nothing Republicans. This will in fact create millions of good jobs and the money will be borrowed at the current very low rates . Yes it will add to the deficit. I take a backseat to no one in thinking Hilary was the better choice, but Trump will be forced to learn he is not a King once he assumes the office which all past Presidents have learned .

Bottom line probably the vast majority of the wasted 7% that went to 3rd party candidates would have voted for Clinton in a 2 person race . And the vast majority of those were millennials. Now they can resume complaining about tuition , minimum wage and global warming because they will go backwards over the next 4 years and they are a large part of the reason Hilary lost. That of course plus the large numbers who just did not bother voting . Way to support Bernie by helping Trump get elected. When you look at how few votes were needed to flip it the other way if PA and Florida went for Hilary, it is really sad! But we have survived worse and I still hold out a chance that Trump will return to what he was for 60 years and that is a Democrat. Would that not be a joke on Republicane?

I think a lt depends on your entry point. In at least 50 returns the only problem I had was they gave me a hard time about some pills they could not identify and wasted an hour of my time. That was Detroit and I never went through there again. A majority of my entires have been SEATTLE where they are so fast and polite and never a problem. I have come through LAX, SFO, IAD and ATL with no problems. I certainly fit the profile and yet never a problem. Once they asked me about a watch and I put 2 on the list before the changes in forms and they did mention 2 was ok but don't try 3 because then they might confiscate.

Let's get real here. 99% of all politicians are crooks either before , during or after their terms. Obama has been mostly squeaky clean but in 3 months he will cash in making millions for books, speeches , Corp Boards etc. In Washington the Congress is a group of the most over paid people in the world. They accomplish almost nothing and seldom go to work and get all sorts of free benefits , trips etc etc etc. Term Limits would be a good start followed by no jobs in the private sector for at least 5 years in any field you ever had any tangential responsibility while serving in the Government. Shorten the campaign to 6 months maximum and allow no donations, funded by Government only and every candidate gets the same amount. That's just for starters. But for now I can live with Hilary. It is about time we elected a woman, the men have been screwing things up for years. Oh and by the way behind the cameras almost all Republicans will admit she was a great Senator willing to work with both sides to get things done. Something that has not been done since her husband left the office. So I can still hope????

Why does anyone think that just because the name of the Forum is Gaythailand that every discussion has to be about either Thailand or Gay. Most if not all members here are thinking human beings and their lives revolve around lots of things besides Thailand and Gay. They come here for different reasons such as information if they have never visited . However there are many members who live here and visit to see what other members are thinking about changes in Thailand , the World , Gay Rights etc. If the thread does not interest you, don't click on it. What could be simpler. As I have mentioned before I could care less about the Tawan thread but many members do and I would be the last one to criticize that thread. If you see a thread here on the US election and you have no interest don't click on it. If nobody clicks on a thread it will die on its own and if there are enough people to keep it alive then why should they not get to have their discussion. Also as I 've said before there are 10x, 20x, 30x more visitors then members and if the thread is getting a lot of views then people are interested even if they are not members.

Not sure where you or abidesmaili got your Law Degrees but I'm pretty sure the onus is on you to prove the photo of someone is of Legal Age . At least in the USA and I highly doubt they need a warrant. In addition I have had many Thai boys who look 18 and could be actually anywhere up to 30. Bottom line in the USA if they decide to give you a hard time they will and you will end up wishing you had nothing on your computer. However the odds are probably very much in your favor never to be bothered.
