As has been discussed many times on this Forum. If you arrive into BKK late at night and are going to Pattaya, hiring a private car is the only logical option. At least from recommendations here you know you will get a safe car and driver for the same you will pay for a taxi , that you have no idea what you will be getting. If you are staying in BKK then depending on time you have a couple of options although if you want to have some fun, they why would you waste time saving a small amount of money vs. taking taxi direct to Hotel.

Like anything else. Until you try it, you have no idea whether you will like it!

Are there some guys who try to rip you off? Of Course. There are those types in every Bar , on every App, in many stands , at some massage parlors. But when the broad brush is applied to a group , it is usually from someone who is not the least worried about how he will pay his rent, groceries, electric bill and always it is a visitor who spends more in a few days then 90% of Thais make in a month. I don't like motorbikes but I have known some boys and how hard it is for them to make a living. First 90% of their customers are fellow Thais and they know the fares and their ability to pay. They may sit at a stand and wait for hours to get a 50 baht fare or less. Nobody is forced to take a motorbike. If you don't like the fare WALK and stop complaining about the Thais , 90% of them are trying to make a living in the best way they can. I wonder how many of you have ever taken a taxi in LONDON. Now that is highway robbery and completely LEGAL.

That about sums it up.. By the way you won't see anyone getting discounts for their drinks at Dreamboys. His clientele will pay and he could care less what anyone thinks, they are welcome to go elsewhere. Been listening to the same BS for years and he keeps raising his prices.That makes him an excellent businessman even if he rarely would get any of my money!

Totally ridiculous for Christian to select a small portion of my post as well as the context of that post in replies to others. Which then results in you replying to that selected portion of my post which if read in context , you would see a completely different meaning.

That would be a great idea except just giving the money to charity would be better then trying to open Bar in Sunee!

Certainly I have never said that is impossible to have a good off from Jupiter. All I have said is that in my experience and that of friends and members here the possibility of a DUD is significantly higher (for me 100%) . Thus I have decided it is not worth the chance any longer. That you had a good off or two does nothing to change my opinion based on actual offs of mine, that I would be stupid to waste my time going there again. Good Luck to anyone who decides to take the chance!

Do you have a hard time with the English Language. I don't care what their preferences are. If they accept an off with me then I expect to get something for my money. Otherwise they should get a different job because if they think their customers are going to be good looking young guys then they are living in a dream world. Good looking young guys can get all the free sex they want and have no need to pay for it. They may be customers at Jupiter to watch the show and buy drinks but they represent a very small % of the customers who off boys for SEX! If you go there to watch the show that is fine. To me the show is just a necessary thing you have to put up with while you look for a companion. And by the way I don't ever off a boy who did not smile at me before I invited him for a drink.

Seems to be a mis-understanding to what I am saying. Over 15 years of visits and 30 months of living in BKK, I have had 1000's of encounters with Thai Boys . 99% of them have resulted in a rating from 6-10 . A very tiny few were an outright disappointment . Jupiter out of 5 offs were all ZEROES. Anyone who has ever bothered to read my posts would understand I am a great fan of the service Thai Boys provide and get upset when some posters don't seem to appreciate both their services or understand their lives. I have racked my brain to think of 1 bad off I ever had from Soi Twilight and there were lots of them. Can't come up with one. Sometimes it was boys first off and maybe he was not as talented as some but still enjoyed my time with him. Jupiter 5 offs and 5 ZEROES. Attitude , performance etc all ZEROES.

As soon as I see 3 reviews from posters that they recently offed Boys from Jupiter and found them great bed partners, I will change my opinion. My own experiences are abysmal and many members as well as acquaintances have reported the same over many years. Until then why would I waste my money when the chances of a great off are far greater at almost any other BAR? Anyone that wants to waste their money , that is their decision . Just remember when you visit for 7-14 days and you have a night completely wasted with a miserable off, you have lost anywhere form 7-15% of your trip !

Just a lot of Bloviation here including me and none of it matters. If the airlines adjusted the boarding times , the passengers would be aware. In fact nothing pisses me off more then boarding time is not adjusted even when the airline knows they will not be boarding on time, Then you wait in a small area with hundreds of passengers and minimal seating . If they were not all terrible at it then I could switch to airlines that are better. Unfortunately they are all terrible at updating passengers with real facts and since their customers are captives, we just have to suffer.

And way too many variables. Many times I have changed planes at Narita and my plane was at gate on time and passengers and baggage load on time and then. 8 passengers are inbound from who knows where and they are late . The 250 passengers on the plane have to wait for those 8 passengers even up to an hour. The reason why is the airline does not have to pay the 250 passengers onboard and waiting for arriving an hour late. But those 8 passengers will cost the airline a lot of money either in hotels and Meals or transport on another airline. Basically when you agree to travel in a silver tube at essentially the same speed as 60 years ago, then you just have to suffer with all the unknowns. In the last 60 years air transportation has not gotten any faster or in most cases more comfortable. It Sucks but unfortunately in most cases better then the alternative !

A great point and i still want to know what arrival time means. Is it touchdown or at gate. Really pretty useless and still think apps are better in telling you past history for specific flights. At least then you can make a decision on a tight connection!

As with most things that involve statistics there are many more things that go into the numbers then most people realize. 1. First thing you have to know is whether arrival time is calculated from touchdown or arrival at gate . At Narita it is quite easy to have a 30 minute taxi from touch down to the gate if you landed on the wrong runway. Seattle has bad weather but rarely does it take more then 5 minutes to taxi to the gate. 2. Late arrival of a flight may result in a late departure but since block times for International flights are quite lengthy, many times a late arrival does not result in a late departure. It is true in the USA with an airline like SW which builds in short ground times a late arrival almost always results in a late departure. 3. There are times when flight arrived on time but the crew for the next flight is late arriving and thus you sit at the gate. 4. There are times during weather when flights have no gate and thus they may have landed on time but sit for 30 minutes or more waiting for a gate. The interesting thing in most of the above statistics is that if you take a 100 flights , the difference between top and bottom is maybe 7 more flights out of a hundred being late. Bottom Line it is personal. You could care less if an airline has the best OTP if you miss your connection because they arrived late. There are things you can do to maximize your chances of being on time. Never fly through Chicago in the winter . Avoid NYC airports if possible. But in the end , it is a crap shoot and there are so many things that go into you making your connection and arriving on time, you just have to take your chances!

I have not let these terrorists change my travel plans at all. I went to Brussels 10 days after it was attacked. I was in Paris 1 month after the latest attack. After the bombing in Bangkok , I not only arrived a week later but stayed in a Hotel 1 block from the bombing site. Much better chance of getting killed in a car on the freeway going 80MPH. That said even with my feelings on this subject there are some Airlines i would not fly. Egypt Air is at the top pf the list not only because of their disgraceful safety record but the fact they really have no security at their airports. I cancelled a trip after one of their many wars , when I was on my way to see the Pyramids. I have yet to reschedule that trip but hopefully will in the future but certainly not on one of their planes.

I get that the show is good (always has been). Prices are better then Dreamboy, well that applies to every Bar. Anyone can be unlucky back in their room but when it happens over and over again and reported by many visitors then at some point it becomes why take a chance? When the odds of a successful encounter are so much higher at the other Bars! When I see numerous reports from different posters or acquaintances that the boys now perform , then they will get another chance. Until then Hell will Freeze Over before I off a boy again from Jupiter. The price the boy wants is not that important to me. If I have to pay 500 or even 1000 more to get a Boy I am lusting after , that is not a problem. I just want to be rewarded for that generosity!

Essentially meaningless unless you are aware of the route structure and volume of flights into certain airports. And at best leaving out El Al not much difference in whether 6 or 7 out of 10 flights taken fail to arrive on time. Certain airports have prevailing weather conditions that frequently delay flights. Flights into airports like JFK and ORD may have speed restrictions or departure restrictions put on them because of volume of traffic. Some USA airlines have taken to expanding their time enroute listed so that many times they arrive early and passengers are happy but nothing really changed from when they listed true block to block time and may have been late. Some good apps will show you history of actual point to point flights which is useful if you realize you have a tight connection.

Just go to BKK Pattaya Hospital. English is spoken and things like this quite reasonable in waiting time and cost.

The question has to be asked , why do you keep coming to Thailand and chasing boys when you have so little regard for them. I can only wonder what the boys really think of you. Your description certainly describe some of them as it would any young boys in many countries.It is the same sort of BS we heard in USA about African Americans. The situation you are raised in helps determine your drive to succeed and it is a fact many of the boys you meet in Bars , have 1 parent, little schooling and no role models . It is also a fact in Thailand even a boy who gets to attend a University is still limited in what he can achieve because the best jobs are given to the right families. At any rate , I think you may find a rude awakening when you have to return to the work force and depend on someone else to decide how you will earn a living.
