Happy 63th Birthday 🎂 and wow, what a treat!! Thank you for detailed review on this brand spanking new spa. I was a little unsure whether this falls into "Prestige massage" (See Shameless mack review) type shop where there is little to no afters. I am cognizant that when the place looks so nice and invest alot to the place- they wouldn't offer such. Question: Do they offer it from get go with stated minimum tips or is this negotiated during? Good to know and thanks for reporting.

Sometimes there is that temptation to venture out off in hope to find diamond in the rough - but I think unless there is specific reason to, plenty of places to try that is much closer by. one store that piqued my interest is actually Taywa massage. Probably will try to get full masseur lineup before going as they are only showing partial face photo/

I would categorize those shops as ‘casual’ (type 2 per Shameless Mack rating). Its like akim to trying out a new experience with little expectations - you may or may not find or like what you see. if you are intent for happy ending service or even beyond, there are lots of shops that do guarantee such service to be offered with specific therapist. You are in Bangkok after all so how much you are willing to fix things or go with the flow is entirely up to you

All of these shops operate via LINE (like WhatsApp). You can always book and inquire in advance. But of course, for accessibility I think Saphan Khwai may be easier (that is still need to booked in advance)

I would think that most are going to V Club 7, Prince, Ssense (the time tested places), while these places are not even listed in Boyinthai, don’t have a website and just need some digging to come across.

Interesting. Thanks! Tips 1500 baht for off fee is totally acceptable since they have to at least sit an hour (return trip) or so in traffic to reach the hotel. The taxi is additional 500-800baht my guess. So total for the boys regardless how they get there is 2000-2500baht tips which is again totally reqsonable and comparable to an 'ST fee' for one of the boys at the go go bar. Assuming this will be around 2 hours of service or so It does mention 'transfer fee'. How on earth you do that without a Thai bank account? Also,in hotel ugh - logistics may be tough if there is oil spillage. The housekeeper likely not going to be happy with that 😕 and plus you have to actually sleep in this bed for the night. Has anyone tried these off call massage boy?

I was just wondering - once you are in the room - how does one communicate with the masseur typically. I often read in the massage review on X that the masseur can ask about pressure, which part wants to be massaged (especially at higher end store). Negotiate tips, etc. Do they communicate at all knowing you cant speak thai

I often wonder what is the deal with Gbeat for not stating minimum tips? I know some guys showed up on other shops page with minimum tips shown.. but still they could expect more at Gbeat? I think comparing Bangkok to LATAM is just entirely different experience. Thai culture in general is more emphasis on politeness, basic courtesy and respect (look at the ‘Wai’ hand that they do all the time). The boys also act in this manner when meeting you. I think this translates to just generally more reserved boys (especially the new ones). Like you encountered - not all experiences are all the same - and you also had great moments too in Bangkok The other thing is also language barrier. If you are from LATAM and can speak the language - of course, knowing the ins and outs of the system generally tilts your experience to the positive being a local versus being a tourist trying your luck. On a more positive side, Bangkok is considered much more safe compared to LATAM. It is definitely 100% more commercial like you said because how accessible it is and safe it is. TLDR: I think if you are open minded and appreciate the nuances of thai culture, scenes and of course the Asian heritage of its boys - you’ll likely find something that makes Bangkok the gay capital of the world lol.

Much is already discussed about massage shops at Saphan Khwai (KMan, One, Phetboy, M15, etc) as the ‘off beaten’ path choice compared to the foreign-tourist focused shop like Prince, VCK, SSense, Arena. However, there is one more concentration of massage shops near Ramkhamhaen University that reportedly have more concentration of college boys as masseurs (TK Man, Mandelspa, etc). It’s funny that for instance TK Man X account is probably the most blatant display that this is not a massage place. Any experience so far to report?

Most likely. This is just deal for the store. I saw I think Kman advertised buffet of 12 hours room usage with unlimited boys but tips are still extras.

Makes sense. That's the classic saying of "show me the incentive, and I'll show you the outcome". With VClub7 I am guessing with minimum tips and walk-in system, the focus is more emphasized on volume. The more popular the shop is, the more mechanized that becomes. On that note than it definitely makes more sense just to set 60 minutes if one is going to VClub (instead of say 120 minutes!). I am reading the reviews and Prince, Senso (per Vinapu), Gannymede (my experience) are better in time keeping.
