  1. That is the traditional way. However, this new way of paying is no doubt an adaptation to handle the number of customers from east Asia who come from non-tipping cultures. It’s also a good way of pruning away customers who don’t really understand the nature of the shops they are visiting. At Senso you would still give additional tip to boy beyond the minimum tip in room if you’re satisfied with the service.
  2. Just an FYI, based on this report I have booked a trip to PP in February. It was not possible to book a room at A&P, so I suggest you book early to avoid disappointment.
  3. Those kind of shops usually have no physical location, with the exception of some street vendors in Silom area or Nana. You might be lucky if you ask some insiders into the Patpong night market. You can get poppers that way too. One store is known: try the hidden closet by the BTS Phrom Phong Exit 5, third floor RR space. Or order online using Line. They might send to your hotel by special delivery then you pay delivery guy using cash. Leave envelope with concierge if going out. DVDs are old school now. Of course if you want the best selection, visit Japan 😜
  4. Early bird tickets are out for the circuit parties during Songkran 2025. If not the parties themselves are for you then the pool parties during the afternoon can be fun. Even if you’re not going to any of these, the vibe in the city is good. https://gcircuit.com
  5. I think it’s a reference to both old #41 at Freshboys who garnered a few comments on this forum during the last month but who recently retired, and also to the new replacement #41 at the same place.
  6. It’s a type of mind set conditioned by an impoverished background. Attitudes to spending are often driven by immediate needs, rather than long-term planning, due to the difficulties and uncertainties of living in poverty.
  7. Thanks for the report. I’m intrigued and wish to explore PP in January.
  8. There’s a lot of monuments and temples in Pattaya to keep tourists occupied so you don’t really need a bar scene 😜
  9. Agree with you about Dragon and Koi but their business model was evolving in the course of a week even. Atlas might base themselves on a blueprint from the muscle bars in Japan. If that is the case it will appeal to a mixed crowd.
  10. I hope to see you again in 2025!
  11. 3rd guy reminds me of a masseur from Ssense.
  12. There was a huge uproar a while ago regarding USA taxing income from YouTube creators abroad. Heard very little about that since as content creators discovered the tax treaties that exists between USA and numerous jurisdictions. Many seem unaware of these treaties, so better look into them. These mainly exists to avoid double taxation however. If you’re looking to avoid tax altogether… better speak to a good lawyer.
  13. Ibis pool parties are well known; covered by report here:
  14. I don’t recognize Earth from anywhere else, so can’t help you there. You either need to keep an overview of the massage scene in Bangkok through the Line chats or you can use this forum, as Vinapu said.
  15. Fishing for gems in the SK shops requires its own kind of expertise and skill set.
  16. They have more customers!
  17. Yes, it’s Senso. So cost is now 3300 including minimum tip for 1,5 session. But then again consistent quality and full service. If you got time to spare there is always the SK shops to explore instead.
  18. Two other forum members and me tested out the bar again today. The vibe is definitely more upbeat, and the dancing more choreographed. Several new hosts had started recently too. The hosts seem to enjoy working together. All in all a much better experience than last weekend.
  19. Many of the boys they have in their selection are available in other places too. Some I know are of proven quality which indicates that the shop is selective about the therapists they promote.
  20. I tested this today, minimum tip is included in the total price when you pay downstairs after the session. Any additional tip is settled directly with boy.
  21. If OP is only after a premium place that also offers a HJ or at most a body to body, he should go to Ssense at Suan plu as they offer skilled massage in nice upscale locales. He should avoid Jey and Senso, as massage skill there are usually not that great or at least a hit or miss. it would have been helpful of course if OP was clear about what precisely he was looking for.
  22. Senso will include the minimum tip of 1800 in the price papasan quotes you and that you pay at end of session. You can give 500-1000 bath directly to therapist if you emjoyed the service.
  23. I thing you’re right, Min. @jason1975 you remember we discussed the social dynamics within the bar and why I chose to buy garlands for the boy at Moonlight? Min has added some further good points to consider.
  24. At Senso you cannot reserve boy beforehand, so go there and pick among the lineup offered. If you go too early the selection can be rather limited. At Jey you can and should make reservation beforehand.
  25. @TigerPrawn At Jey you will have a massage first and you can negotiate whatever service you like halfway through the massage. At Jey they will have tables, but you can also book VIP or deluxe rooms with beds. At Senso they only have beds, but nice ones, not mattresses on the floor that you can find in some other cheaper places. HE are the main focus both places.
