  1. Since this raid, three separate people I know visiting Bangkok (all gay foreign tourists) this week have reported that they have been randomly pulled aside by police for intrusive searches. 1 on the BTS over-walk, another after leaving restaurant with their family in BangRak, and another couple getting out of a taxi in Silom. All said they felt targeted and was because they are gay, with questions about where they are staying and what venues they have been at and parties going to, what drugs do they have… None obviously. In the taxi instance, the driver was likely undercover police - who asked if they wanted to buy I*E (frozen water). The gay couple who told me this, said no thanks we don’t do drugs. Driver proceeded to a particular spot to let them out and that’s where the police then jumped on them. As you can imagine, all this seems very full on and even for people who don’t participate in illegal activities would naturally feel anxious. Justice isn’t as clear unfortunately as in other countries. So my question to forum readers, is this normal?
  2. To be honest, these organisers are a bit stupid. Why would you have so many people night after night in same room. Raises too many questions and obviously attention. Of course hotel will tell the police. They would be concerned about safety. It could even be an insurance risk for them. I hope people can find out what happened to those arrested. I suspect the foreigners will be taken to an ATM and let go easy. Thailand doesn’t need to scare off tourists. I could be wrong, anyone else please tell us how this could play out?
  3. Trip report: Myself and a few aussies flew in via HK. I will say the airport there is basically a huge cruising spot. Heard Grindr notifications so many times. Met a guy who worked in the Cathy Pacific Pier lounge who gave me the best BJ in my life. His name is also BJ. So win win. First night in Taipei, a sexy local Onlyfans model I messaged on instagram said he was going to a club called Commander D. So I decided we (Aussie crew) should also go there. We went to the Red house for drinks first. I love that place. Sit, eat decent food and drinks. I will say I noticed that the most hard working drink servers were young and pretty looking. While the older and not so fresh looking seemed to just give it Karen vibes. The whole Ximen area is exactly what I wanted it to be. Clean, convenient and a great vibe. Music yes, (not crazy loud like can get in Thailand), street performers check. Cute guys walking around and fashionable girlies everywhere. We left the Red house district and stumbled to Commander D. Is a small basement bar. My American friend called it a Dive Bar. We didn’t know it was a Kink club. The crowd was mixed in age, and body type. No females. Was very packed but not in a gross pushy way. Taiwanese people and visitors accordingly are very considerate people. Siping on my reasonably priced cocktail I suddenly heard gasps. I couldn’t really see so I made my way to the front. There I saw a Twink who I’ve seen on twitter. He was on stage getting fisted by a white guy. His profile description is “Perfect Asian wrecked hole bottom in your wildest dreams”. He certainly was enjoying himself, eyes rolling about. OF boy went home with a friend and I didn’t get to talk. I don’t think was a friend, probably a client. That night I went back to my hotel with a Filo Twunk I met. I fucked him, he kept wanting me to lick and suck his toes. But he came so quickly, which is a shame because I wanted to flip. The next day I messaged A room Spa on Line. They were terrible at replying, and so I gave up. Luckily friends finally recovered from the night before and suggested we go to Beitou hot springs. I agree so long as we can also go to Shilin night markets after. We took the Metro to Xinbeitou then a taxi for 5mins. The metro train system in Taipei looks vintage 90s but is clean, efficient and makes sense. We arrived on the mountain steps away from the Japanese onsen like spa. Miraculously the rain clouds dissolved and it was very humid very quickly. Emperor spa is an all male venue. Outside and open air. It was clean and full when we arrived at 2pm. The hot pools were boiling. But I kept going back in to mostly perv on all the attractive younger guys who, Interesting were mostly (asian) American, Canadian, Japanese and HK visitors. The only Taiwanese guys were old men who came for health and vitality reasons. I can imagine it would be easy to cruise if not so busy during pride. But I was happy to take in the experience. There was a super sexy Japanese hunk. His butt made me drool. He had a tiny wash cloth coving his crotch. I went closer to say hi, but an American guy beat me. They eventually went to the steam room, and I realised he was FTM. He had the best pecs, and his top surgery scars were hardly visible. His bush of hair covered his area below, which I’ve seen in Japan a few times. That night…
  4. Just got back to home (Australia) after my first time to Taiwan for Taipei pride. My summary impressions is that the city is amazing, the boys are super cute plus kinky and all the gay venues/ activities were amazing. So many posts about Thailand, but I’m super shocked there isn’t more forum theads on Taipei, so I'm guessing there isn’t more interest from readers for a full trip report?
