I take vitamin B as well as Magnesium, which helps with sleep which I'm sure would help with sexual health. Not a vitamin but I also use a lot of Maca which is supposed to have libido beneifts as well. I can't say I can directly measure the help, & I'm 33 so results might vary, but will say there's nothing like getting enuf sleep and taking a few days off from the cognac.

Interesting how everyone is different...I'm always much more adventurous & meet me many more new people when I have even one friend accompanying me, & I'm usually the social instigator. I use my alone time to recharge too, but usually in the comforts of my own home or somewhere familiar, even yesterday I was by the beach for a few hours by myself after everyone else had gone on with their day & I didn't know what to do with myself. But I've never traveled outside the country alone. My opportunities are too far & few between but as I save money with time that will change. Nothing wrong with being there for someone when they need it--not every need we fulfill is also gonna fulfill our ego, but I get where you're coming from, especially if you're used to dealing with the feeling on your own & have actually learned to embrace it. Although always having company definitely makes the fun harder lol That's why I've always been on the lookout for that evasive 'friend' who's down for some hedonistic adventuring

lol More appealing in an emotional way for sure but in a sexual way it depends, for some people its easier, i use these forums mostly for other reasons and am not big in to pay/being paid but its very popular in Colombia & sometimes it might be the way you go. But for whats it worth not everyone is doing it to make ends meet...just like we all have jobs, not every shift you work is to get your next meal...this is peoples living because they can make good money

Of the 3 cities ive only been to Bogota & I know a lot of people from there so ill speak to that, but a lot of it probably applies to the others as well. 1. Chapinero is definitely in the heart of Bogota, like staying in Manhattan in NYC, it definitely has quieter residential streets, posh & hilly, east of Carrera 7, & the farther north you go the closer it is to other posh or more upper middle class barrios of Bogota. My impression was much more like NY too in that because its such a big city, theres so much mix of people & barrios, a lot less like Cartagena, or my city Boston, which sort by their smaller size have starker contrasts between touristy/central neighborhoods & the areas where normal everyday people actually live. But point is, in Chapinero if you open Grinder you're going to get flooded with sc0rts, this is also the heart of the homo community. If you wanted to be in less touristy neighborhoods youd have to stay in a place like Bosa, Kennedy, Ciudad Bolivar, etc. 2. Bogota is an enormous, cosmopolitan city, of course with a lot of issues with crime, gritty, but also full of different neighborhoods & people going about their business. You can do the same things you do in other big cities...go for a drink, to the club, see a movie, theres a ton of hiking ringining Bogota, its a big biking city, go to the gym, go to cafes and out for dinner, basically all the normal things youd like to do & traveling depends on time of day & the neighborhood. Pay attention & dont be a fool, but yes i was walking around at 2 am on the weekend nights in Chapinero, tons of people out, let your surroundings guide you. I always carried a separate phone for out in public, in anything it would make life easier even if you simply lost it. 3. Its your life but id always meet in public first lol 4. Havent used tinder since 2013 lol

There are definitely a lot of clubs, saunas & massage parlors, Id say stay in Chapinero close to Parque de los Hippies, you can stay on the nicer side of Avenida 7(?), but overall Bogota isn't that safe to walk around at night unless there's a lot of people out or you're in a group, unless you wanna stay far away from all the action.

So we ended up going to Cartagena & Bogota for a few days. I'm very disappointed that I didn't end up going to Gabanna, a lot of the locals told me not to go, but it seemed like everyone was there during the weekend and someone invited me on Sunday, but by that time I was out & drunk already in the walled city. For this one spot alone I'm ready to go back to CTG, I don't necessarily need a plethora of places, I like off the beaten path. I also got invited to Avatar but never made it, didn't hear or see much about Gemini or Crazy Breeze if it still exists. Had a really great night at City Club, the one gay club in the central neighborhoods, it's really just a regular club, & very small, but made some friends, one off grindr, & we had a great night. Cartagena was difficult at first because most hotels & airbnbs are very guarded (literally, with door people) about visitors. Some of the guys have spots though. First few days were frustrating, but I finally found some hourly hotels in Getsemani. One wouldn't let me use it if it was with a chico instead of a chica, but the other one was fine & the woman working it was very accommodating. It was 30 pesos for the hour & I think 125 for the night. Even though I was in Bogota monday to wednesday, tuesday was basically a weekend night because of May Day, & the streets were crawling. We didn't go to Theatron though because someone mistakenly told me it would be open wednesday, but we had a great time at a salsa bar. I figured a lot of people would be off for the holiday, so that was the day I chose to hit up a sauna. I went to St. Moritze, & there must have been at least 50 guys there. 24 pesos I believe to get in. I don't know how much a massage is because I didn't. There were all ages, plenty of fine dudes, & at the same time it was both hot/sexy but also chill & not overly aggressive. Final conclusion...I need to go back to both places

Nothing really sexy about it, or the underwear, just some goofballs.

How did you like Bogota?

That would be great🙏 I know im asking for a lot of info but still trying to work out the trip, and ive never been to the country. Other people have told me not to leave the tourist neighborhoods whatsoever, but if you can be realistic with me about getting safely to & from (whether walking, uber, etc.) to those clubs lmk, I kinda get the gist of what they each offer, tho ill scope out what best times/days are good for each.

Thank you for this! Im taking down some of these suggestions. Definitely we will be going out, probably almost every single night...im insatiable. It seems like a majority of the (few) clubs, bars, discos are outside the walled city/Getsemani area though, I wonder if anyone here has any experience with those recently? Some are not too far, & other in the heart of the city. Gabanna, avatar, geminis...so unless theyre ok to uber to door to door that will suck. But i dont have to go to a gay club every night to have fun. Thats also why im curious to visit Mompox, a little leisure, plus i think its good to get out of the cities when traveling somewhere new...less stress...less money...less pressure, and u really get to know a place in a different way. Any experience there? My spanish is very good. I dont know any locals though, anyone I know in Colombia would be in the greater Medellin area. In many parts of the world & here at home I have a look that passes for many things, not sure id be as passable in CTG though.
