  1. I am sorry for your loss. It does seem that Bangkok is giving you physical and emotional comfort during this trip. You sound so much better than during your previous trip, despite the recent death of your friend.
  2. I wonder how they manage to keep Boeing 777s flying for all this time. They either have a lot of spare parts or they are getting them from China. Same logistical issues with Airbus. Just one more concern.
  3. I find it funny that he’s got two officers holding onto him. I would’ve just put him in handcuffs or shackles. Then I wouldn’t have to worry about chasing him later on.
  4. What is their line id?
  5. I am not so sure about just how obligated he may feel to respond to all these posts. It may not be voluntary.
  6. United flies direct to Beijing and Shanghai from West Coast of USA. United also flies direct Newark to Delhi. Air India is the only direct flight from San Francisco to Delhi, but honestly, I would take any other airline to make that trip. Perhaps the Tata Group will be able to fix the problems at Air India, but that is going to take a long time. Also, there is another concern to toss into the mix. An Air India flight from India to San Francisco had to divert to Russia. Luckily nothing happened to the passengers who had an unplanned stop in Russia. But there is a good reason that Western governments urge their citizens not to go to Russia. I would not want to become a hostage in Russia, waiting for some Western country to release a Russia agent who shoots someone to death in front of mothers with kids in the middle of a park in Berlin. Strong pass.
  7. I prefer to pay cash for certain things. I have paid massage shops with credit card, but the tip has been in cash and I prefer that. At home, I will pay the restaurant bill with a card, but the tip for the server is usually in cash. I can be sure that they are getting the money, and they do not have to go through their boss. Also, for certain venues, I am more comfortable not using a card and just paying in cash which is more anonymous
  8. My concern was not the urine. It was the raw sewage. The whole situation seems very sketch for swimming at Pattaya beaches. I also do not know if there is any testing of the water or posted results from testing. I live on the SF Bay and our beaches are tested regularly with Red Yellow and Green signs posted for when contamination levels are high.
  9. Do people actually swim in that water?
  10. I used a regional Nomad eSIM last year in Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I don’t think I had coverage in Laos. I was very happy.
  11. If they have a penis, they wank.
  12. Just google eSIMs. It is really easy. There are articles and videos to show you how to activate them on your phone. It is easier now than when I first started with them.
  13. Public Wi-Fi users are prime targets for MITM attacks because the information they send is often not encrypted, meaning it's easy for hackers to access your data. Once they're in, they can grab your emails, usernames, passwords, and more. They might even lock you out of your own accounts by resetting your passwords.Feb 12, 2024 9 Possible Ways Hackers Can Use Public Wi-Fi to Steal Your ...
  14. I just use eSIMs now. Started with Airalo, but now mostly use Nomad. Prices are good and it works on arrival. It does not come with a local phone number though. I use WhatsApp or whatever for verbal communication.
  15. This was a common scam in Europe. It may still be. The people who would approach you would say they’re with the tourist police. They would say that they want to inspect the money in your wallet to make sure there are no counterfeits. Just walk away. I think it would be a little difficult for an Iranian National to convince anybody in Bangkok that he is a police officer.
  16. I wonder how many of the deaths were due to positional asphyxia given the way they have them on their abdomens and somewhat stacked on each other.
  17. This is so funny. I have never heard this term, SIDE. I have always viewed myself has a Top that was not really into it for the most part. I primarily topped because my partner wanted that. Never bottomed and no desire to. Under the right circumstances, I might really want to top, but for the most part, I enjoy all the rest of the activities. When it comes to hiring someone, I would think that it would be easier for the person being hired if there was no anal expectations. I like the caressing, intimacy and kissing. So, maybe from the perspective of guy being hired, I would be more demanding than the straightforward top because of the kissing. But that is why it is important to know what is included in the fee.
  18. I know that this was not what you wanted and I understand the frustration. But honestly, I am a little jealous of your adventures.
  19. I got to finally try out the Timeshifter app. It was extremely effective on my trip from the West Coast of the United States to France and Ireland. I just followed the instructions for a couple of days before hand and a couple of days after you arrive. I had almost no jet lag at all. It does take a little bit of discipline. For example, it told me to sleep on the plane and I wasn’t able to completely do that. However, I simply put on an eye mask and rested in complete darkness when I could not sleep. It worked. I really had almost no jet lag at all and I am going to use this for all of my future international trips. I highly recommend it. I was fine on arrival in Europe as well as on return home.
  20. Does this affect the VIP service that various companies offer to expedite arrival?
  21. JD is no Linda Carter!
  22. I had never heard that Prime had a tablet with pictures of the masseurs that you could choose. I have never had a bad massage at Prime and the massages have always been professional without any int of extras. So I just go there for quality massage.
  23. There is fatigue and tiredness. And then there’s Jetlag. One can be fatigued and tired from traveling as well as a lack of sleep. That can resolve with one nights sleep. But the jet lag is actually a different thing. Jetlag can take one day for every hour of time difference to make the adjustment. Jet lag is mostly related to our internal clock, and that is most affected by light exposure, whether we are able to sleep or not. There has been a lot of research and science done on the subject. The way to avoid jet lag is proper exposure or lack of exposure to light at the correct times to prevent jet lag. This needs to begin a couple of days before the trip. Being exposed to light at the wrong times can actually make Jet lag worse.
