  1. Perhaps the owner(s) of Atlas saw an opportunity with the current (mis)management of The One that seems to be alienating customers as many on this forum have attested to. Hopefully people will find Atlas to be more welcoming. That would be better for customers and workers.
  2. I think that it is more about setting limits and compartmentalizing your life. You give money for a service of some kind. They aren’t seeing you for free. Also, in your home country, I don’t think that you would socialize with guys that you are paying. The paid guys and your regular friends would probably be two social circles that do not mix. Since you are now living in Thailand, even if only part of the year, I would treat it similar to how you would have behaved in your home country. I have not been to Pattaya, yet. However, I think that living away from the scene would be a better idea than living too close. That way, you don’t have to walk past the massage shops and bars when doing your daily errands. It isn’t about being bitter or jaded. Just be clear in your own mind that you don’t give money away for free. That is just the way it is. No need to get angry or worked up or guilty or anxious, etc. That is just the way that it is.
  3. When I was younger, we would sometimes go to a diner in the middle of the night. Invariably we would eat breakfast after midnight. Haven’t done that since I was in my twenties.
  4. I am so sick of Russian propaganda. Even after all these years, it still turns my stomach.
  5. We will learn more over time, but I suspect that there is an ugliness going on inside this killer’s head that will overshadow his good looks and cut abs.
  6. Perhaps the area needs a well placed garbage can. I cannot stand litter
  7. I was so worried that this was going to be a post about Old daddy. I am so relieved.
  8. It is so funny that I completely forgot about the guns. They were incredibly loud at the time, but I had no interest in them. The tunnels and the booby traps and the camouflaged entrances to the tunnels are what stick in my mind. There was also a propaganda film playing that also seemed perfectly suited to the setting.
  9. I found it a little creepy. But I guess that is par for the course.
  10. Word to the wise everyone. Be very careful.
  11. Why would a professional Russian state propagandist post on this website? Putin and the Russian dictatorship are vehemently anti gay and have mercilessly persecuted gay people, but yet there is this propagandist who is openly gay, talks about gay venues and runs a company offering gay tour guides to Westerners. Yet he stays out of jail and continues his activities. Things have not changed much from the Soviet period. Finding ways to compromise Westerners is a key tool used by Russian intelligence. It is called during your job. I strongly urge caution in dealing with Russian state propagandists, particularly when it comes to giving them any personal information.
  12. Official Russian State Propaganda is usually disseminated by employees.
  13. This poor kid lives in a brutal dictatorship. Moses also lives under the same brutal dictatorship. Millions of others live under this same brutal dictatorship, but they don’t respond to every single post that is in any way critical of Russia or Russia’s dictator. Most normal people could not be bothered. I have watched these official Russian state propaganda posts for quite a while now. My impression is that this is his actual job. I would urge people to consider this when engaging.
