  1. Old daddy, that comment to Londoner was harsh and uncalled for. As an Antipodean myself, I know that we are not immune from grumbling. That type of comment can drive people from the forum.
  2. When I went to Nana this year, there were quite a few vendors on the pavement selling sexual items.

    Atlas bar

Well, it certainly sounds exciting, but, by the same token, it would be sad to see the demise of Tawan, which I understand has been the longest running gay gogo bar in Silom. It was certainly the first bat I ever visited in Bangkok. I guess many of The One boys will end up at Atlas.
  4. Emi1981, that Grindr guy from Malaysia is exactly my type. I must say that you have exemplary taste in men!
  5. The Tarntawan was actually reasonably quiet, given its convenient location. I could hear the sound of motorbikes from time to time late at night in the first room I was given. When I booked for an additional night, I was asked to go from my room with a double bed to an opposite room with 2 single beds. That room was absolutely quiet. I liked having a bath to soak in as well. I didn't try the breakfast. Visitors show their ID at reception. Siam Heritage was equally quiet. Both are good value. Quarter Silom is recommended for location, breakfast, gym, saunas, etc, though the pool location could be better Quarter Saladaeng is worth considering. It's further away from the gay scene, but within walking distance.
  6. Saunas provide lockers and you can put the key around your wrist or ankle.
  7. This thread is hilarious!!
  8. I know that, from my own experience, there can definitely be a mind over matter connection. The attraction is definitely there, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.....even with the addition of PED'S. There are peptides available which increase sexual desire, but they're expensive.

    Kissing

My thoughts exactly. I find it to be the most intimate sexual experience. I can't tell you what it does to me when I see 2 bulky bodybuilders kissing and fondling each other.
  10. It's certainly a gay friendly budget hotel. What I really like is that you can get inward facing rooms which get no noise at all from the bars.
  11. I'm glad you got the thread back on track, vinapu. The only piece of meat I had during my recent visit to Bangkok was 'T' from Tawan. I offed him several times. Either I went to the show or arranged to meet him before or during opening hours. He's probably the oldest guy in the bar, but I like his physique very much and he was very obliging with my request to kiss, which is something I find very erotic. I think a lot of the bodybuilders who are GFP aren't interested in kissing. Having said that, I would have possibly liked to have offed one or two of the other bodybuilders, but I felt loyal to T, and I know he's not getting much business.
  12. Thaiophilus, do they still stand to attention for the national anthem? Back in the day I would go to the outdoor gym at Lumpini Park and I remember the music coming over the loudspeakers. All the bodybuilders stopped doing their weights and respectfully stood to attention. I was in Bangkok a few weeks ago and went to the park in the early evening, and, tbh, I can't recall hearing the music being played. I think the shine for the royal family is fading somewhat.
  13. I was upgraded at Quarter Saladaeng on my first visit too, to what was basically a small apartment. I felt so lucky. I agree with everything everything else you say about the hotel. You can walk to the end of the street, go over the bridge and you are in Lumpini Park. I wonder if you discovered the outdoor gym there, Olddaddy.
  14. Just to add, the complex has several bars and there are adjacent hotels.
  15. The map is clear. Jomtien Complex has several gay bars and is within walking distance from Dongtan Beach, where there is a very gay-friendly area, which is popular with tourists and locals alike.
