  1. Well, this report is from News Nation -- so take that for what it's worth. The story was featured on no other news site/channel. Moreover, the video isn't attributed to a specific source. And the "expert" is nothing of the sort. He's a very creative artist and fantasist who likely created the video or doctored an existing one. ☺️ Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell is an American contemporary artist, filmmaker, and ufologist based in Los Angeles, California. Corbell is a mixed media artist whose exhibitions combine art, fashion, and film. He is also a photographer, fashion designer, and author.
  2. The easiest answer is... What's the purpose of your visit to Sri Lanka?
  3. Yes indeed! You're dreaming about your Savior Dictator. Spend $8.99 and you can frame his image! 😍
  4. No flaming at all! In fact, you're to be applauded. πŸ‘ In particular, the OP wrote this: I want to do something about this before I turn in to "who's that gross old guy trolling around here?"
  5. This is the actual cover of the current issue of The New Yorker magazine. Nobody knows Drumpf like his home town does. 🎯
  6. I'm so happy that this triggers you so much that you continually go into "what about Joe" mode. I love watching you react in the only way you know. πŸ₯³ Remember: This topic is about holding a reunion at the D.C. jail for Drumpf's convicted traitors and insurrectionists. And Drumpf himself might attend. He plays their songs at his failed rallies. 🎼🎡🎢
  7. I love this image so much that I have to re-post it! πŸ₯³ πŸŽ‰
  8. And what do you know about the cheap and tasty food you eat in Latin America and Asia? Where do you read fully disclosed information about all ingredients?
  9. Ah! So you both achieved financial success that day. 😁
  10. You're our chief economic advisor! 🎯
  11. Absolutely correct! I think the Axels rest on their reputation as the most famous ("infamous"?) gay hotels in Barcelona. There's nothing special about them other than the fact they're cruisy and friendly inside and out, especially at the pool, spa, sauna or jacuzzi. A stay at an Axel hotel probably works best for those visitors who are too shy or afraid to venture very often to other parts of the city -- or even other parts of the Eixample.
  12. Let's see now.... You went back 15 (yes, fifteen) pages to a comment from another poster to cherry-pick a single word that you thought was misused. That comment was not addressed to you and had absolutely nothing to do with you. Yet you were desperate enough to unearth something that would boost your terribly fragile ego after being away from these forums for a while. So please do tell us the answer: Exactly WHY do you waste your time here?
  13. It's important to remember that there are two principal sections of the Eixample neighborhood. Thermas is at the southern edge of what's called the "left" section: the "gayborhood" of Barcelona. So to be really close, you want L'Esquerra de l’Eixample (Catalan meaning "left"). More specifically, the blocks in which Thermas is located is La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample (Catalan meaning "new left"). The other part of the Eixample is the "right" section. La Dreta de l'Eixample ("right") is pretty big, with hotels that can be very far from your gay destinations. But as long as your hotel is close to the Metro L1 line, however, even the right section won't be a problem. As @jensplatta said, the Rocafort station is on Metro L1 and is just around the corner from Thermas. Ride-share services will also take you to Thermas.
  14. But the similarity ends right there -- and we all know it. One of those two people can explain medical facts, conclusions and advice in an objective manner without feeling threatened and insecure. The other one is a bully who thinks that pedantry, posturing, personal attacks and put-downs will bolster his comments as well as his fragile ego.
  15. How angry and bitter you are that I copied a few comments posted by actual members of these forums! How else can I provoke you? 🎯
  16. Let's see what we have here.... You went back to page 1 of this 15-page thread. You saw a comment that was not directed to you. You jumped on a single word in that comment that somehow bothered you. You responded directly to that comment's author -- 15 pages later. You composed three statements, seemingly based solely on terminology from psychology and psychoanalysis and not on the ways in which that terminology has become part of common usage (or "employment," in your words). And one of those statements is incorrect. CONCLUSION Criticizing others' use of words on public forums often backfires, especially when it's practiced for sport.
  17. Here's just a sampling of comments from members of these very forums: I recall a couple of years ago when I was walking around Kenrokuen, one of the 3 great Japanese-style gardens. I was enjoying the serenity when suddenly large numbers of huge tour buses turned up all at once and disgorged a tsunami of Chinese tourists. The serenity disappeared, as did the views, because everywhere you looked you just saw people. They all wanted the photo with the famous stone lantern; the problem is, they don't just take 1 photo and move on so that others can have a turn; they have to take multiple shots going through a series of poses. In Cambodia the locals complain a lot about the Chinese tourists. If you have ever followed a Mandarin tour group, you will have noticed the distinct lack of manners, pushiness, spitting, and general inability to relate to others. 80 percent of 2,200 Chiang Mai residents polled by the university in February said they were highly displeased with Chinese behavior. The survey and numerous comments on Thai social media blamed Chinese for spitting, littering, cutting into lines, flouting traffic laws and allowing their children to relieve themselves in public pools. Some restaurant owners complained of Chinese filling up doggy bags at buffets. The low point in local-tourist relations here in Thailand's second-largest city was likely a photograph widely seen on the Internet of a person, purportedly Chinese, defecating in the city's ancient moat. "Unfortunately, right now, the feeling is very anti-Chinese. In order to bring out such strong feelings in Chiang Mai people, it must be really bad. Generally, Chiang Mai people are quite tolerant of foreigners," says Annette Kunigagon, Irish owner of the long-established Eagle Guesthouse.
  18. The use of her here refers to Ali Wong, who has been on comedy stages, radio, and TV for a while now. She has also done a few films.
  19. It would be interesting to know how many of those (supposedly) 2.5 billion baht will be required to clean up the resulting mess and damage on the beach.
  20. Are there also requirements for Chinese tourists to behave appropriately while in Thailand? They should have to pass an exam showing that they know how to be responsible and courteous visitors. The same requirements should apply to any country that Chinese tourists enter.
  21. Weekends and weekdays only. Plus all holidays in your home country and all Thai holidays. Plus mornings, afternoons, or nights only. And at midnight or noon -- or both simultaneously! πŸ₯° Please also visit at least one museum for me. Even if it's for only one minute. πŸ€“
  22. Of course you are! How many Asian countries have you visited by now? πŸ˜‰
  23. You're right! You don't remember "that saying" very well at all. 😍
  24. I don't think the OP @EX Navy Dad will be getting either luck or fuck! But it's best that he fucked off in the way he did. πŸ‘‹
  25. Yes. Making it easier for tourists would be great for those looking to give (and get) lip service in the LOS! πŸ‘„
