Loy Krathong 2024 at Adam’s Apple Club Chiang Mai We are pleased to invite you to celebrate with us Loy Krathong Festival, Saturday, 16th November 2024 @ Adam’s Apple Club Chiang Mai. Loi Krathong takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar, thus the exact date of the festival changes every year. The name could be translated as “to float a basket,” and comes from the tradition of making krathong or buoyant, decorated baskets, which are then floated on a river. The highlight of LOY KRATHONG 2024 will be our PARTY at Adams Apple Club on Saturday, 17th November We wish all our friends HAPPY LOY KRATHONG 2024! Day of German Unity 2024 Celebrate German Unity Day 2024 with us, Thursday, October 3rd With all our hearts we wish our friends from Germany a happy German Unity Day. German Unity Day (German: Tag der Deutschen Einheit) is the National Day of Germany, celebrated on 3rd October as a public holiday. In other words, it commemorates the anniversary of German reunification in 1990, when the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) … … and the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) were unified, so that for the first time since 1945 there existed a single German state. Adam's Apple Club organizing a fundraising night to help support those affected by the floods in northern Thailand Adam's Apple Club is hosting a benefit evening next Wednesday, August 28th, with proceeds raised to help our brothers and sisters currently affected by flooding in many northern provinces. As a person from the North, we would like to send our heartfelt support to everyone who is suffering from this flood. We hope that with our modest help we can help the people in the affected regions a little. Adam's Apple Club would like to encourage all people suffering from this flood. You can also donate directly to our nightclub. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to various civil society networks in Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae and Nan provinces

Thai New Year or Songkran is the Thai New Year's national holiday. Songkran is on 13 April every year, but the holiday period extends from 14 to 15 April. It takes place from the 13th – 15th April (the hottest time of the year) throughout the country, but Chiang Mai spreads this out for up to 5 days, making it one of the best places to celebrate the world’s biggest water fight. Especially at this time of year it's not that easy, it's hot and the air isn't good to breathe, everyone is longing for rain so that it can cool down a bit and the air will be better again. We all hope and wish for rain. But until then, stay brave and don't give up hope. Many people are longing for a cool place where the air is healthy to breathe.
