Instagram is just posers. Some of the Chaturbate boys use it, that's the only reason to try contact boys there. Was nice for me when I was in central America Find the boys with a naughty twitter account. I have maybe 18-20 boys from Jomtien/Pattaya that I follow on Twitter. It's fantastic. I especially like it when they post clips with other boys who I know. Might be a 30 second preview clip linking to an onlyfans, but that's good enough. If you live here, you don't need to pay for the onlyfans, you can invite them to your room.

With the activity of police in Jomtien Complex the last few days, a fair few bar owners seem to be asking the same questions. Just as they are getting back on their feet after 2 years off bullshit, the police want to kick them in the nuts 1 more time.

How do I prove I'm fully vaxxed upon landing at Swampy?
gayinpattaya replied to BiggusDikkus's topic in Gay Thailand
My point on Thailand was the rules are the same as they were in 2019. There are no COVID related restrictions. I flew into Thailand in May with the Thai Pass and a test. Was very easy. Now not even this is required. As for Lao, happy to hear that. I had an unvaccinated friend who had to do a rapid test before crossing the border a few days ago. Hopefully Lao will catch up, or maybe as you said they are already. -

You can. Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia require nothing. If you fancy a trip to Lao, you will need it. Lao require vaccination proof or a rapid test. -
In Jomtien Complex, It's not just the smokers and vapers. You now have the weed smokers also. A couple of bars are not allowing people to smoke it on site (@home bar is one). Most of the other bars have no issue with it's consumption. I didn't care much, till the one time a guy started smoking weed inside Dragon Music Lounge. The smell was overwhelming and we left.

You can fly in unvaccinated and without tests. The borders are open. Rules are the same as 2019. -
I don't like public displays. Thai culture doesn't either. I have left bars before because a pensioner was sucking some twinks face off. Better that than fetch up my dinner. === In all seriousness, when you are with a boy in bar, you are also in a bar with his friends, possibly even his boyfriend or girlfriend. In @Home Bar in Jomtien Complex, a couple of the boys even have their wives there! While it's unlikely anyone would say anything, I would keep it respectful and in privacy. If nothing else, the boy you are with will like you a lot more for doing so.

Yes that's both possible. It's referred to as a "Long Time". You pay more and they stay with you longer. If you pay a lot more they will certainly try to make you feel loved, to extract more money from you. A "short time" in most cases end when sex is done. They will be out your door to look for another customer, or go get drunk with their friends at the beach. You can offer more money for them to stay, and they may say yes! As for conversation, 90% of them have very limited or next to zero English. 10% or so have ok English. This would have to be a part of your decision process on who to bar fine.

Guest viewing porn on phone when we fucking--not polite right?
gayinpattaya replied to zombie's topic in Gay Thailand
Exactly this. It's not rocket science. -
If that's the case you will have no problems at all. It's very rare boys will turn down customers. You have to be truly monstrous for them to not want 1000-2000 baht in their pocket. Some foreigners get a bad reputation because of whatever reason. Boys talk about us, just as much as we talk about them. It's just as easy to get a good reputation though, which can pay off big time. There are a number of foreigners in Jomtien Complex the boys actively move away from and ignore when approached. It doesn't take long for news to spread around here.

I would be more worried about recording pornography in Thailand. Enjoy decades in prison if caught.

Maybe in Bangkok you can find that, but in Pattaya it's a different story. Boys under 30 are here to make money. Your age means nothing. How much money you have in your wallet, that's what matters. Pattaya is a commercial city. It's important to remember that most of the boys here are not from Thailand. They have travelled here to work bars and make money to send back to their families. A large number of them are heterosexual. They are having sex for money, nothing else. While there are always exceptions, they are few and far between. These arrangements are usually between boys and expats where more long term arrangements can happen. This may be hard for you to believe, but a lot of boys will have no interest in you at all. Many will completely ignore you. In their mind, you are too young to have the money to support them. Generally speaking, most younger foreigners in Thailand are poor backpackers. Older guys in their 30s-40s, I am sure you can find free sex with some of them. I personally moved to Bangkok when I was 29. I had a couple of relationships up there that were not based on money. It was certainly easier there than here in Pattaya. My advice would be to avoid Pattaya if you are not willing to pay. It might put a big dampener on your trip.

Yup same document. Also usually required for opening a bank account.

You need a letter of residence, not a residence card. You can get one of these from Immigration.

Urwin was on one tonight! Double Shot is great. The boy with the longer hair, skinny. He is a lot of fun! Speaking to other bars owners this was the best Saturday / weekend since covid. Bars were packed. Boys were being bar fined all over. The complex was alive again. I had my best night out since 2019. Just a shame the police had to turn up and close everyone at 1:45am. Great way to welcome back tourism. Shove flashing red lights, guns and flashlights in their faces. Well done BIB! I guess it's important to remember that after 2am, in a bar, you catch covid. Idiots.

This assumption could land you in hot water. I know many Thai's who go for a drink in Jomtien Complex after work and such. None of them have any interest in being "offed" by an old farang. They are customers just as we are. Double Shot boys can be offed, but as you said, they are straight. You wont be fucking them! I hear reports that many of them are duds (can't keep it up with a man). It was only yesterday I was talking to a friend and he mentioned the time he was walking through Jomtien Complex with his boyfriend, and some old farang touched his boyfriends ass. The boyfriend turned around and walloped him. Classic.

Who is responsible for the confusion? Well.. 2 doors down from the Agate Hotel, is the "Jomtien Complex Office" (that's the name). They are the knife in the back for all bar owners in the complex. I had to deal with them once and it was a fucking nightmare. These are the morons who decided to put that stupid roof over the complex, with floods the upper level when it rains causing drips and leaks into all the bars below when it rains and in hot season makes the whole street a fucking sauna. These are also the morons who, without talking to any business owners, came up with "SUPERTOWN" and put big signs on the entrances. SUPERTOWN has been snubbled by all the business owners in the complex. Many actually put "Jomtien Complex" on the signs to their bars as a bigger protest. As for the website "gaysupertown.com" ... This is the hobby of "Banjo Jim". He's a cheap charlie who walks around the complex touching boys without tipping, and tries to use the fact he has a shitty website to garnish free drinks from bar owners.

I was in Bangkok in May. Madrid was closed. Has it moved? The place on Patpong? The history of that eatery... It was sad to see it's closed doors. CIA safehouse, great pizza. Ugh. Great memories.

Yeah..... Please, never say this. Really there is no need. For reference, the E is flat tone, HA is rising/up tone. But still..... Never say it haha -
You would be able to swim every day. I do. It only rains for an hour or so. You never get prolonged rain. As said above, as long as nothing "bad" happens globally, the bars and massage shops will be open everyday, every month, year round. Just as they were before covid. Keep in mind that there is a large number of expats here. We keep the bars and massage shops alive in low season. Jomtien Complex is all host bars. No gogo bars. Head to Boyztown for gogo bars. Toy Boy, A bomb, X Boys, Dreamboys. Sunee Plaza has Winner Boy and Nice Boys, but it can be dead some nights, even now in the run up to high season. As for Bangkok, I think there are other members here who live in Bangkok and can give you better information. I live near to Jomtien.
-
May will be fine. Boyztown will likely be very quiet, but if you head to Jomtien Complex all the bars and massage shops will be open. There may be a few less boys, but also a lot less tourists, so less competition. I love low season, and hate high season. The only advantage of high season is the slightly cooler weather. Everything else sucks. As a travel tip, don't use "Pattaya Jomtien Supertown" This place doesn't exist. No taxi driver, motorbike taxi, bar boy or anyone else will have a clue. You want to say "Jomtien Complek" (Thai's dont say X). Good luck planning your trip. I am sure you will have a great time.

I never said "manly". I said bar boys / gay boys. fem boy is an American word. Where I am from we just said "tranny" when I was growing up. Ultimately I can only know what I am taught at my Language school, and by Thai friends who help me practice my Thai speaking, reading and writing. If I'm wrong, I apologise -

I hear it from many normal gay boys. Every day. "fem boy" isn't a thing in Thailand. It's another western invention with no real relevance in Thai culture. -

Pretty shocked how bad this advice is from a media organisation like The Thaiger. I guess since Tim left it really has gone to the dogs. TnT News is great though so check that one out (his new solo venture) ===== Khun is a polite way to address a person. You add the word before a person’s name. While it is similar to using Mr. or Ms. in English, there’s no direct correlation to English. ===== This is the worst. Khun means "you" but can also be used to address a person, but rarely is. It's mostly foreigners saying it. "Oh Hello Khun Chai, How Are You".... nah.. just don't. - you are hungry - Khun Hiw - คุณหิว ---- Probably worth noting that many boys you meet will not say Krap. They will say Ka. The gender rules are not culturally enforced and people are free to refer to themselves as they wish. Many bar boys and gay boys will also use Chan, instead of Phom. Most Thai people think nothing of it, so learning both means you won't have to think about it either. I'm still in my first year of Thai Language school. It's a fascinating language to learn, but a huge learning curve. You essentially have to forget everything you know about western language and start over.
